honestly  ??  i  saw  a  dusk  here  like  a  million  years  ago  &  thought  '  oh  my  gosh  ,  i  remember  them  my  awakening  i  think  i  can  do  pretty  good  as  thorn  maybe  ??  she  could  be  really  fun  '  &  here  we  are  .  i  was  also  in  a  REALLY  toxic  space  in  the  disney  fandom  so  i  was  looking  for  a  new  space  to  get  comfy  in  .  much  happier  here  ,  happier  than  i  ever  was  in  other  fandoms  .

3) what’s the best thing about the show/series/books/comics/etc.?

i  do  enjoy  how  it  reaches  so  many  fans  no  matter  what  adaptation  &  everyone  seems  to  have  their  own  take  on  the  characters  with  each  new  reboot  SD  get  .  true  it's  kinda  hard  to  keep  up  with  every  new  thing  that  comes  up  &  i'm  NOT  by  any  means  happy  with  every  single  take  ,  especially  with  things  the  girls  are  thrown  in  .  but  it's  kept  alive  through  many  different  minds  of  creativity  &  i  can  appreciate  that

* marge vc * i  just  think  she's  neat  .  no  but  there  are  literally  so  many  things  i  love  about  thorn  it's  an  endless  list  but  if  i  had  to  pick  just  one  ,  i've  said  this  before  but  it  really  is  that  she's  just  an  earthbound  angel  .  not  in  the  literal  sense  but  sarah  said  so  herself  ,  she's  no  mere  mortal  her  soul  is  virtuous  .  her  interests  are  dark  &  morbid  but  she  herself  isn't  &  i  just  find  her  being  a  complete  contradiction  of  herself  fascinating  .  like  she's  not  what  you  expect  of  her  ,  just  one  of  the  sweetest  people  someone  can  come  across  .  i  think  that's  why  she  makes  some  unfortunate  enemies  tbh:  a  lot  people  can't  handle  someone  who  is  a  beacon  of  light  in  a  world  that  can  be  dreary

i  think  the  biggest  tweak  is  her  identifying  as  a  '  witch  '  ,  unless  you'd  count  headcanons  that's  pretty  much  it  .  i  know  not  all  wiccans  identify  as  witches  &  vice  versa  but  seeing  how  witch  is  such  a  scary  word  in  oakhaven  i  feel  like  thorn's  the  type  to  take  power  in  reclaiming  it

- Don’t cheat on her. Simple as that.

- Communication is key with Mayberry. If someone tells her they want to be in a open relationship or poly that’s fine. Although I can’t really guarantee Mayberry will be up for that due to her own insecurities. But she will appreciate that you took the time to at least ask her instead of going behind her back. 

- You must like kids, or at the very least tolerate them. Mayberry is an elementary teacher and she adores children. The last thing she wants to hear is how much someone hates kids. 

- Hestia can be fairly shy around people she doesn’t know too well. However, she can quickly become more comfortable around someone if they have a friendly or amiable personality. And if you manage to make her laugh, then she will instantly like you.

- Be patient with her. Not only is she shy, but she’s a cautious and private person by nature. She will gradually open to someone if they stick around long enough.

- Hestia is a very independent person. But she is not too opposed to someone buying gifts for her, especially if they’re thoughtful ones.
