Today was one of those days I would very much like to be erased from the calendar. For a reason or another I couldn't go to yoga class, and this makes me a lot more frustrated. Moreover, the reason why I didn't go tonight didn't happen to be, and the class is gone and.... You know what I mean! Firebirds, or Phoenixes, are my all time favorite fantastic creatures! In my mind, I've always pictured them as giant peacock-like birds, with claws strong as one could imagine but gentle eyes. I would like to spend a few words to describe what I did tonight. But... There are no words! Really! . I went to my first #Mindfulness (#MBSR) class, and it was something that went far beyond my expectations! Yes, I have expectations, of course, but they were blown away by the teacher's words and the familiarity of the place... . I fell into meditation. And I say the word "to fall" very "mindfully", because it's the word to describe love and because it was like falling and realizing you didn't hurt yourself! You get what I meant? After a stressful week I fell into meditation like the most common thing to do, after a stressful week. It was so natural. . And the exercises we did, ah! I felt like a child and it was so good! . I feel regenerated. . Now that this day has come to an end, and I can finally rest myself in my bed, I look back to all the craziness of the past few days. Oh boy, I've always been on the run, but it's also been fun, you know? It's been exhausting, but interesting, and beautiful! And I owe the most powerful statement to the one and only #MOM! She said "in the last few years I learned how to detach from things and people, and above all, to learn what problem was true and what wasn't"... This...
