Do you guys even know about tostones. Do you even know. Guys i need you to listen to me very carefully.
I need you to go to the store and buy a green plantain which is JUUUST starting to get a little bit yellow around the edges. And then take it home and cut off both ends and cut a slit in the peel so you can take it off and then cut it into 3/4" slices and then fry the slices in 1/4" of oil until theyre golden and then take them out and smash them flat between two plates stacked on top of each other or something and then fry them until theyre browned around the edges and then salt them and eat them while theyre still hot. You need to do this. For me.
