what if those boys were in middle school... absolutely chaotic

— freddie dressing in over-the-top and flamboyant outfits, though being genuinely popular for his sense of humor, generosity and kindness

— brian being the "nerdy" kid that sits in the library for lunch in an oversized hoodie hunched over a pile of books on space

— roger being the typical bully, however more so to joke around and laugh rather than get anything rude out of it. he probably gets confused for a girl sometimes and aims to be the school "hunk"

— john usually being the quiet/shy one, though having an amazing personality and generally having many close friends while still looking cute as hell

— the four of them bonding over their love of music, though rather than that being their main interest, they hang out outside of school playing games and such

— john usually sticking to freddie for assistance when it comes to bullying or facing a fear, roger following closely behind ready to beat someones ass

— roger and brian constantly at each other's throats, their differences being the main issue

— brian being the dad friend and always helping them out with personal issues or studying

— freddie spending his time making little gifts for the other boys, mostly small doodles or projects from an art class, typically portraits of them. the boys absolutely love them and have small collections of fred's work

— board game sessions where the boys spend hours fighting each other because they're "not playing it right" or are "cheating", when in reality they have no clue what they're doing because they never bothered to read the rules

— intense sports matches (in gym classes) that are usually mostly between roger and fred while john and brian watch from a safe distance, cheering them on

— fights over who gets to sleep over where

— the boys watching R rated movies they stole from their parents, and getting freaked out over the horror movies. its mostly john screaming the entire time, in turn freaking the rest of them out

— roger constantly earning detention for beating some kid up (usually brian or freddie) or cheating on another test

— the boys styling each other's hair because they think it's the funniest thing in the world
