Hey everyone, sorry that I haven't been very active lately, I've been mostly maining Twitter but I really want to stop using it after this stupid rebranding they're making, they're only doing it because they know people will continue using the platform, so I rather not use it entirely.
Anyways, here's drawings I made of Barbara Stringband, Crusty the Cat and Lil Queenie.
Doodle of Barbara from Major Magic’s bc I’ve been slightly obsessed with her lately and plus I need to post on here 😎👉👉 come join me in the Barbara fan club
Hey guys! I so wanted to talk about it. Today I'm going to list all the animatronic characters that make me uncomfortable.
As an animatronic fancier, I really like many animatronic bands, (including some that are even lost media) animatronic characters, attractions with animatronics, EVERYTHING WITH ANIMATRONICS IN GENERAL!!!! And as always, I have a few that I find strange in my eyes, or make me uncomfortable to a certain extent. I have automatonophobia and impressively I'm not afraid of animatronic bands, (even my dream is to see the rock afire play in person), but there are some excesses that make my automatonophobia leave my anxiety to the extreme. either because of the strange way of the character OR because he tries to "imitate" a human form and fails miserably.
1. 𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑏𝑎𝑟𝑎 𝑆𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑏𝑎𝑛𝑑
firstly, Major Magic's Barbara Stringband. I don't hate her or anything BUT this very old version of her in this dark room gave me the creeps. I LOVE her old Version, style and her vibe, but today she doesn't give me that vibe anymore.
i hate all stages of concept unification, i have a bad memory for it, and those are BAD animatronics. I hate how they had these little pupils that made me feel like they're afraid of something. and they had a weird dark stage which doesn't help with the animatronic vibe, I think they're VERY dull. I don't think I could stay in a room with these animatronics. (srry who likes them)

Did i need to say something? Just Look at those BIG arms, and those BIG EYES. they’re terrible. Just to Look at them my Heart skip a Beat.
they are the worst thing i have ever seen
(as the limit of images arrived, I'll leave more for a part 2, if you like it, I can extend these posts)
My human version of Barbara! Please note that my version of Barb isn't strictly based off the real like Barbara Streisand like the original character is :) And that she's just a hardcore fan of her
Hiya! I did a little research on Major Magic's (which I think you've shared a couple times) mainly because of the lovely Barbara Stringband, whose design is one of my favorites.
these photos are mostly from this photo album, their youtube channel, and here's another good look at the whole band.
one of my fav pics of her, (cw for decay)
bonus vid of some time during her restoration
anyways, looking through said photo album, their youtube channel linked above (and your posts on the matter) showed that they were restoring the animatronics and preparing to reopen in 2020, which was pretty cool and I was excited to see they weren't just going to let them rot... However I then found this article from November 2020 that says that they have since closed for good. It also mentioned that all the animatronics were sold off, and unless anyone can find any more information, are currently MIA.
Just an update, since the last post about Major Magic's was about its reopening.

Thank you so much for sharing! It's an absolute shame that Major Magic's didn't last very long. The pandemic sadly took its toll on them, as it did with many small businesses. Their Facebook page hasn't updated since before the closing, so I unfortunately can't tell you where the band ended up. This might be a good thing, sadly, since the restaurant animatronics fan community is full of people with very few boundaries who have been known to harass private collectors to the point of said collectors having to leave the fandom. Hopefully someday we'll get an update, though, and be able to experience the band in some form or another once again!

Finally Billy Bobs Pizzatron footage: found here
Whats interesting about this is that, Beach Bear has a mask very similar to the retrofit seem in a Major Magics, which is backed up by the hot air balloon in the backdrop saying “Major Magics” This also makes the billy bob on stage a restore of the Barbara Stringband retrofit which made Billy Bobs neck longer, this also means that Fatz could be the same as from the Major Magics thus his custom coat.
There’s some more interesting stuff here such as the possible rolfe stage but this video doesn’t show it.
