Iron and Steel Market's Journey in Fueling the Engine of Progress
The global iron and steel market size is expected to reach USD 2,253.52 billion by 2030, according to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc. expanding at a CAGR of 3.8% from 2023 to 2030. Rising demand for heavy machinery and growth in the construction industry is expected to augment market growth over the forecast period.
Tumblr media
Iron And Steel Market Report Highlights
Based on iron ore application, the steel segment is expected to register a growth rate of 2.0% in terms of revenue over the forecast period. The production of steel is expected to increase over the forecast period on account of rising investments in the construction of smart cities, led by increasing urbanization rates.
For example, Saudi Arabia’s NEOM project is anticipated to consume the largest amount of iron and steel. Further, at a capacity of 650 tons per day, the NEOM project will commence hydrogen production in 2026, which will be used by green steel and cement industries, for the city to run at 100% renewable energy.
Based on steel end-use, the building & construction segment captured the largest revenue share of the market, with over 45.0% in 2022. Rising investment by emerging economies to modernize their infrastructure is expected to propel the demand for the product.
Based on region, the Middle East & Africa is expected to achieve a revenue growth rate of 4.3%, over the forecast period. This growth is primarily driven by the emergence of infrastructure projects in the Middle East, which in turn is boosting the demand for products in the region.
For More Details or Sample Copy please visit link @: Iron And Steel Market Report
Over 98% of the total iron ore transforms into pig iron, which is a crucial component in the production of steel. Finished steel products are used in various industries, such as heavy industry, construction, automotive, and consumer goods. In heavy industry, steel is a strong material that can handle heavy weights and tough conditions. It provides stability and safety to heavy machinery, equipment, and infrastructure by maintaining their structural integrity. Thus, it is widely used in heavy industries such as shipbuilding, defense products manufacturing, and oil & gas.
Investment in the oil & gas industry is expected to drive the demand for steel over the forecast period. For instance, in April 2022, Cairn Oil & Gas, a Vedanta Group subsidiary, announced investing USD 700.0 million in oil & gas exploration projects in India. The company plans to invest in 100 exploratory wells, including the project in the Barmer region of Rajasthan, India.
Despite the rising penetration in various end-use industries, the product faces hindrances in the automotive industry. Electric vehicles prefer to use aluminum because of its lightweight and robust characteristics. This lightweight property helps reduce fuel consumption and lowers carbon emissions. As a result, aluminum is increasingly being used as a substitute for steel in electric vehicles, and this trend is expected to negatively affect the global market growth in the foreseeable future.
Region-wise, Asia Pacific is projected to undergo substantial revenue growth with a CAGR of 3.6% across the forecast period. This growth can be attributed to substantial investments in the region's construction and infrastructure sectors of developing economies. For instance, The Indonesian parliament approved the Capital City Bill in January 2022, paving the way for constructing a new capital city in the East Kalimantan province. The country has plans to invest USD 35 billion in the project, which is projected to be finalized by 2024.

MP Supriya Sule shows support to Rahul Gandhi after he receives notice from EC
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule showed her support to her party ally in the INDIA bloc and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi after the later received a show cause notice from the Election Commission of India (ECI) after he passed his controversial remarks over Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an election rally in Rajasthan.
"Rahul Gandhi is a strong and honest leader. I am confident that he will give a dignified and honest answer. He is a fighter. He can afford to be fearless because he is honest," Sule said.
She further added that in the post, the BJP had made several remarks about Rahul Gandhi and his family. “So, now if he speaks something, why is there a need to feel bad?… Has the BJP criticized the Congress any less?”
Recently, during a rally in poll-bound Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi used the Panauti word for PM Modi referring to the loss of India in the World Cup 2023 because of the PM’s presence. Panauti is a Hindi slang that loosely translates to one who brings bad luck. "Our guys were playing well. They would have won the World Cup. But 'Panauti' made us lose. The TV guys won't tell you this but people know," he said while addressing the crowd in Barmer.
In another rally, the Wayanad MP referred to PM Modi as a Hindi slang ‘jaibkatra”. “The pickpocket never comes alone, there are three people. One comes from the front, one from the back, and one from the distance… Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s job is to divert your attention. He comes on TV from the front and distracts the public by raising topics of Hindu-Muslim, demonetization, and GST. Meanwhile, Adani comes from behind and takes the money,” he said.

The Congress is in control in two of the five states that will hold elections this year—Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh—while the BJP is in charge of Madhya Pradesh. The Mizo National Front (MNF) is in charge of Mizoram, while KCR's Bharat Rashtra Samiti is in charge in Telangana. On October 6, the Election Commission convened a meeting with the police and spending monitors and asked them to guarantee that the threat of money power is completely managed before issuing the timetable for assembly elections in five states. The meeting was presided over by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. In order to supervise and guarantee free and fair elections, the ECI declared that approximately 1180 observers would be dispersed among the five states. These observers will be used in the upcoming Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Telangana legislative assembly elections. In other election-related news, the Indian government is considering implementing the 'One Nation, One Election' concept. To that end, the Centre established a commission under the leadership of the late president Ram Nath Kovind. In the meantime, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar stated to the media on Monday, "In 40 days we visited all 5 States and held discussions with political parties, Central and State enforcement agencies." The EC also stated that in order to make voting easier, the commission will erect new booths in isolated and difficult-to-reach locations. There will be new polling places put up in the Barmer desert in Rajasthan and on Tulsi Dongri Hill near the border between Chhattisgarh and Odisha. In Madhya Pradesh, polling places will be established in tribal sanctuaries and reserve forest regions. In Mizoram, polling teams will go on foot through 19 riverine polling stations and 22 non-motorized polling stations. Being Married was the condition for being eligible for applying for the post of AANGANWADI KARYKARTA at Gugdi, Barmer, Rajasthan
This is a case where being unmarried was the condition of illegibility of a female condition for applying to the post Aanganwadi Karyakarta and the logic behind the condition was if a candidate gets married and shifts to her marital home (located at different place), the working of the Center where she was appointed would get hampered.
This condition is not only violative of fundamental right guaranteed under Article 14 & 16 of the Constitution of India but also impinges the dignity of the woman.
Miss Madhu v. State of Rajasthan & 5 others
Writ Petition 11280/2019 before Rajasthan High Court at Jaipur
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Mehta J allowed the Writ Petition
Facts
1. An advertisement dt. 28.06.2019 was issued by the State of Rajasthan inviting eligible candidates to apply for the posts of Aanganwadi Karyakarta. The petitioner Miss Madhu, approached the Child Development Project Officer, Women & Child Development Department for submitting her application form.
2. The Child Development Project Officer, verbally told her that as she is unmarried, so she is not eligible to apply for the post as the Condition of eligibility was unmarried candidates will not be eligible for appointment.
3. As the Child Development Project Officer, refused to accept her application form, she sent the same on 23.07.2019 by way of speed post.
4. Immediately thereafter, the petitioner moved Hon’ble High Court of Rajasthan by way of filing the present writ petition & on 29.07.2019, an interim order was passed, accordingly till further orders, the Child Development Project Officer was directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner for appointment.
Submission of the Counsel of the Petitioner
1. Condition is absolutely irrational, discriminatory and violative of fundamental rights of the unmarried candidates.
Submission of the Counsel of the State
1. The petitioner had failed to submit her application form by the last date therefore she is not entitled for any relief.
2. The rationale behind condition of being married for being eligible for being engaged as Aanganwadi Worker is if a candidate gets married and shifts to her marital home (located at different place), the working of the Center where she was appointed would get hampered.
Issue before the Court
1. As to whether a candidate can be discriminated or denied public employment on the ground of his/her marital status?
Observation of the Hon’ble Court
1. An entirely new front of discrimination, which was not even envisaged by the framers of the Constitution has now been opened by the respondents by including the contentious condition in the Circular.
2. Present case is a classic case wherein, the discrimination encountered by women has been given a new facet. An unmarried woman is discriminated against a married woman.
3. The reason given does not pass the test of reasonableness and prudence.
4. Mere fact that a candidate is unmarried cannot be a reason to disqualify her.
5. A host of questions can be posed to the policy makers of the State - What if, the candidate marries to a boy of the same village or vicinity? What if, a married woman after being engaged as Anganwadi Karykarta moves to other place? What if, a woman’s husband decides to live in woman’s parental home? What if, a woman gets widowed or divorced and decides to move to a new place? and What if, a woman does not wish to marry at all !
6. The State can neither pre-empt any such situations nor can it prevent a woman from claiming job simply because she has not tied the nuptial knot.
7. The condition is not only violative of fundamental rights guaranteed to a woman under Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India impinges upon a woman’s dignity
8. The condition of a woman to be married being absolutely unconscionable and violative of women’s right to apply and get public employment is liable to be declared arbitrary and unconstitutional.
Order of the Court
1. The petition is allowed. The impugned Condition is hereby quashed to the extent they require a woman to be unmarried.
2. The State will, however, be free to take requisite undertaking from the unmarried woman candidates or amend the Circular so as to ensure that if a woman having been engaged on any post in any Aaganwadi Center migrates to a place other than the area covered by the Aanganwadi Center on account of marriage or otherwise, her engagement will be brought to an end.
3. The petitioner has already sent her form and in pursuance of the interim order her application is directed to be considered.
4. Gram Panchayat and the The Child Development Project Officer, Women & Child Development Department are directed to process petitioner’s application form within a period of four weeks from today in accordance with law. It will be obligatory upon the respondents to engage the petitioner as Aanganwadi Karyakarta, if she is otherwise meritorious and eligible.

Three civilians were killed on Monday when a MIG-21 military aircraft crashed into a house in the western Indian state of Rajasthan.
The Indian Air Force said in a statement that the plane had taken off for a a "routine operational training sortie" from a nearby base.
"Soon thereafter, the pilot experienced an onboard emergency, following which he attempted to recover the aircraft as per existing procedures. Having failed to do so, he initiated an ejection, sustaining minor injuries in the process," the Air Force said.
"The aircraft wreckage fell on a house in Bahlol Nagar in Hanumangarh District, unfortunately leading to the loss of three lives."
The Air Force said an inquiry had been set up to ascertain the cause of the crash.
Patchy safety record, India modernizing arsenal
MIG-21s have had a shaky history in India, although for decades they were the backbone of the country's Air Force. First acquired from the Soviet Union in 1963, several later variants were added to the fleet over the years.
However, India's continued reliance on the outdated technology is a point of contention for its aviators, with the model among the handful of planes downy the years that some dissatisfied crews have taken to nickname a "flying coffin" after multiple fatal crashes.
Last July, two pilots were killed when their twin-seater MIG-21 trainer aircraft crashed near Barmer, also in Rajasthan. That was the sixth MiG-21 crash since Janauar 2021, with five pilots killed in all.
India's military has also suffered several other recent fatal air accidents.
Last week, an Indian-made army helicopter with three people on board crashed in the Jammu and Kashmir region.
And two Indian fighter jets collided mid-air during routine exercises in January 2023, south of the Indian capital of New Delhi. One of the pilots died in the collision. That incident involved two far more modern planes, a Russian-made Sukhoi Su-30 and French-made Mirage 2000.
In January 2020, India's most senior military officer, then-Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat, was one of 13 people killed when a Russian-made military transport helicopter crashed en route to an air base.
India is trying to modernize its air force with a mixture of acquisitions from Russia and France, and also by trying to develop a domestic aviation industry of its own.

Top 5 jodhpur food :
Today i will tell you about top 5 jodhpur food. Which you have to test.
Dal Baati :

The baati is a hard bread made with coarse whole wheat flour, semolina, ghee, besan and prepared with fennel seeds and carom seeds. Baatis can be cooked or ready. The start of baati goes way back to Rawal organisation where the warriors would make pieces of blend and cover them under the sand and after they would return back from the contention the baatis would be absolutely and good to go. Baati transformed into a prestigious struggle time feast. A while later, then the mix of dal baati ended up being particularly notable.A platter of semi-sweet Churma, hot Dal and seared Baati, is one such standard Rajasthani dal baati churma mix.
New baatis choked in very hot dal is an optimal reinforcement for churma. Considering water deficiency and climatic conditions, different methods for cooking are used. Rajasthani cooking has dishes that can be prepared and taken care of for a seriously lengthy timespan! Dal baati is one of the essential dishes of Rajasthani cooking, the dish for which the food is known for.you should test it with help of jodhpur cab service.
Gatte and its flavours :
Another item that is a must-have is Gatte ki sabzi. Back in the day, leafy and green vegetables was not easily available in Rajasthan, but people used to compensate with lots of grains, pulses and spices. So they made the best out of the available resources and came up with Gatte ki sabzi. In the book 'A Historical dictionary of Indian Food’, food historian KT Achaya writes, "Moong and besan flour form the foundation of numerous crisp, fried savouries like the mangodi, gatti, papadi and methi.” He even states, "Many vegetables are sun dried throughout the year before being used as gattey.” Women in Rajasthan used to make gatte in advance and store them for future use. Prepared with gram flour and dry masalas, the gatte is steamed and cut into bite-sized portions. In simple words, they are gram flour dumplings that are simmered in a rich yoghurt or buttermilk-based gravy. Truly unique, isn’t it? You test it than you like it you should go with taxi service jodhpur.
Laal mass :
Through trial and error, the cook raised the power of the dish with spilling over proportions of Mathania chillies and likewise laal maas was imagined. Today, with hunting disallowed in many bits of India, the dish is made with goat meat, but the trimmings stay clear and extremely hot. All through the long haul, the dish has similarly moved from glorious kitchens to extra unpretentious homes and it can now be found on the menu of various restaurants in India and abroad.Today, Mathania chillies are hot, yet won't kill your taste or make you numb. In any case, you will end up cleaning your sanctuary, Bits of hearsay have spread all over recommending that laal maas seemed when a ruler from Mewar excused the deer meat that was prepared with just garlic and yoghourt, which didn't eliminate solid areas for the fragrance.by far most know laal maas as a hot sheep curry from Rajasthan, but the hidden variation of the dish was made with meat from wild hoard, deer or wild fowl.
 Ker sangri :
One of the most popular Rajasthani dishes, ker is a wild berry that is tangy and peppery while sangri is a type of long bean grown abundantly in the desert areas of Jaisalmer and Barmer. Sangri, on the other hand, are bean-like units of the khejri tree The villagers took these vegetables home and due to the scarcity of water cooked them in vegetable oil with spices. It is tart in taste, which similarly makes it an optimal component for pickles. They ate this wonderful concoction with their bajra rotis. Today they cook it with buttermilk or water. Sangri is a mainstay during drought, when little else is available as it is 53% protein. Legend has it that long ago there was a famine in Rajasthan and the villagers found these two vegetables when all other vegetation had withered away.Ker sangri, a regular Rajasthani dish made of secretly gotten trimmings, is perfectly fit to the State's completely dry climate. Each year, when I got back to school in Delhi after the pre-summer journeys, I would find my sidekicks remaining energetically for their main dish from my home State, Rajasthan, ker sangri ki sabji. Since it doesn't get spoiled successfully, I could convey it on my transient train adventure. Come mid-day break, my partners would eat up it with pooris or parathas bought from the school compartment.Ker sangri is a course of action of five plant things — ker, sangri, babul fali (kumatiya), gunda and aamchur. It is generally called panchkuta considering this original mix of five trimmings. Ker is a caper-like desert regular item, a berry that creates on a thorny shrubbery.
Papad ki subzi :
The shortage of rain and water always made Rajasthanis think out of the box, and this dish was a lifesaver when they ran out of vegetables. In this popular curry, roasted papads (thin Indian flatbreads made from lentils) are broken roughly and added to the yogurt gravy made with gram flour, chilli powder, turmeric and chopped coriander leaves. The result is a mouth watering curry usually served with steamed rice. The idea of adding papad to a curry may not sound appetising although on my recent trip to Rajasthan this is one dish I couldn’t get enough of. I was there during the summer months of April travelling across the region, cooking and eating with locals. Discovering spices, markets and family recipes along the way. Papad ki sabzi is a staple in homes across the north west of India and primarily made with turmeric, coriander and fenugreek in a rich gravy simmered along with cooked papad or poppadum as it is known in the UK.
A genius idea if you ask me! Yoghurt added to the curry is cooling and also thickens the gravy. It’s a simple recipe and just what a mid week meal needs on days when I don’t have much in the kitchen.Traditionally papad added to the curry is fried. I have roasted them in this recipe. You can dry roast them over the hob or in the microwave. If you’re cooking in the microwave just follow the instructions on the pack. Don’t be too concerned about the edges that are charred slightly. For me that’s what adds the flavour to the gravy/ sabzi.you test this food than you know the test of this food, hire cab service jodhpur.

Exoskeletons qualify for direct disability compensation in Germany
ReWalk Robotics’ exoskeletons can help users stand upright, walk, turn and climb stairs. | Source: ReWalk Robotics
ReWalk Robotics made progress in German courts this week. BARMER announced it would accept a ruling from state courts that made exoskeletons considered eligible for direct disability compensation and withdrew its pending case at the federal level. BARMER is one of Germany’s largest statutory health insurance providers.
The ruling gives eligible, insured patients with spinal cord injuries (SCIs) a legal basis to use an exoskeleton as an orthopedic aid for direct disability compensation in Germany.
“We anticipate that today’s events will have immense significance for paraplegics in Germany. The precedent set by the state court is enforceable and legally binding and will help ensure that eligible individuals with spinal cord injuries have a legal basis to obtain this technology,” Professor Thomas Ratajczak, legal representative for the plaintiff in this case, said.
According to the ruling, medically eligible individuals can be provided advanced technical aids, like ReWalk Robotics’ system, regardless of previously supplied medical aids.
“After seven years of waiting to walk in an exoskeleton, I am excited that BARMER will now provide me with a ReWalk,” the plaintiff in the case, Lars Vinken, said. “It is of great value to know that other paraplegics will now have easier access to this technology. To be supplied with an exoskeleton and be able to stand up and walk again at any time opens new horizons for me.”
ReWalk Robotics’ Personal 6.0 System is an exoskeleton designed for all-day use at home and in the community. The battery-powered system has motors at the hip and knee joints that help control movements using subtle changes in the wearer’s center of gravity. Users simply tilt their upper body forward, and the system initiates the first step.

The system is personalized for each individual user, ensuring a precise fit and optimal safety, function and joint alignment. It can help users stand upright, walk, turn and climb and descend stairs.
“The successful conclusion of this legal dispute identifying the exoskeleton as direct disability compensation changes the landscape for the eligible paralyzed community,” Larry Jasinski, CEO of ReWalk, said. “The German healthcare system has led the way in its adoption of exoskeletons for spinal cord injured individuals. We expect that this acceptance of the prior ruling will enable medically eligible members of the SCI community to access exoskeleton technology in a more efficient manner.”
ReWalk Robotics also offers ReStore, a lightweight soft exo-suit aimed to help individuals with lower limb disabilities due to stroke. It provides both dorsiflexion and plantarflexion assistance, which help facilitate functional gait training.
