Also can yall tell I love putting Alec in situations where he's pushed past his limit? It's so fun (I swear I love him). It's cuz of the fact that it takes A LOT for Alec to even reached the border of his limit and a liiiil more push for him to get past that, it's just fun to think about the "What will it take for him to just Lose Himself?"

#aria rants #alec values his self a lot. he takes pride and confidence from the fact that he has a willpower strong enough to combat anything #so its fun to imagine him wavering in that regard. where not only is his willpower tested but his entire self #theres a reason why i have an au where alec lost Everything (but am also still a softie so i gave that back with extra steps. + more angst)#ray on the other hand is always teetering between 'Perfectly Okay' and 'I want the earth to swallow me whole' levels of stability #basically one wrong push and hes just gonna Lose It. in what way? depends. either he loses himself to his own facade #or the facade breaks so badly he just Snaps. hes fine tho like-- trust me! he has alec!
