Batangas State University - TNEU celebrated the 120th founding anniversary.

ICYMI: Cardinal Gaudencio B. Rosales, the archbishop emeritus of Manila together with Fr. Juan Carlos Coloso presided the Holy Mass on the first day of the 120th Foundation Anniversary celebration of Batangas State University-The National Engineering University Pablo Borbon campus held at Gov. Feliciano ‘Sanoy’ Leviste Memorial Multipurpose gymnasium, Oct. 18. Attendees of the mass included the family members of Don Pablo Z. Borbon, senior and junior officials of Pablo Borbon and its extension campuses, faculty members, employees and students. An ecumenical and interreligious prayer service led by Rev. Felix Zaide was also held right after the mass.

Afterwards, Fr. Coloso officiated the blessing of the newly constructed four-level parking lot attended by officials, teaching, and non-teaching personnel as they lighted candles to signify their participation to the event.

ICYMI: Farm to Pablo Borbon Market Fair dubbed 'Barakahan' officially opened as part of the three-day celebration of 120th Founding Anniversary of BatStateU-The NEU spearheaded by Dr. Charmaine I. Triviño, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Daryl M. Magpantay, Vice Chancellor for Research, Development and Extension Services, Dr. Lucille D. Evangelista, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Vaberlie P. Mandane-Garcia, Director for Extension Services at the University grounds, October 18.

In adherence to Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger, 17 trade fair participants including local farmers, artisans and university staff showcased freshly produced products and crafts with the aim of promoting healthy living while celebrating agriculture as well as fostering connections between the Pablo Borbon community and local agricultural producers.

On the other hand, adjacent to the Farm to PB booths, Student Organizations Fair also opened with eight participating stalls. Generated income will be used to support the indigent students and other related activities.

The trade fair will continue selling products and exhibiting crafts until Friday, October 20.

• Red Spartans sparkle in first-ever Research Elevator Pitch Competition on SDGs

The Sustainable Development Office held the first Scholarly Pitches Advancing Research Knowledge towards Sustainability (SPARKS) at the CITE Lecture rooms, October 19 joined by students from different departments and constituent campuses.

Winners included groups from the College of Teacher Education, Integrated School, and College of Arts and Sciences. Their projects covered topics like digital literacy for the Aeta community, natural oil spill absorbents, and resource extraction as a response to the call of SDGs.

This highly anticipated event gathered students from different campuses of Batangas State University, featuring an array of activities, from thrilling sports competitions to the dazzling Mr. and Ms. BSU pageant. As enthusiastic Spartans, we rallied behind our fellow student athletes, creating a unified and spirited environment throughout the events.

The sports competitions, including basketball and volleyball, showcased the remarkable skills and teamwork of our student competitors. Beyond fostering friendly rivalry, these matches cultivated a strong sense of unity as students passionately cheered for their campus teams. The Batangas State University celebrated their 120 years of Tradition and Innovation. They prepared a long week celebration for the students and faculty to enjoy. The 1st day is all about sports, because the celebration also served as the intramurals in the campus also for its extended campuses. Basketball, volleyball, and other sports activities was held in the gymnasium of the university. Aside from sports, students from different departments also showcased their talent in dancing modern hip-hop, contemporary dance, and festival dance for the ASBAGAN Festival: Padalo, Pataka, Pasikat!. The Mr. and Ms. BatStateU - The NEU Pablo Borbon 2023 is also one of the highlight event of the celebration every department and extended campuses have their own representatives for the pageant. After the intense competition of beauty and brains, the representatives from CABEIHM department were crown as the new mr. and ms. pablo borbon. After those extreme competitions the university had a student's night as the main event for the students to enjoy. They invited several performers and influencers to entertain the students. This year's celebration was truly special because it means a lot to the university and it just showed how the community of batstateu is still growing after so many years of being one of the leading university in batangas.

How it is like to attend an event in Batangas State University- The National Engineering University

Batangas State University, The National Engineering University have met its 120th founding anniversary and a week long celebration have been commence to celebrate the founding anniversary inside the Pablo Borbon Campus. There are different activities for both students and faculties, one of the activities are the basketball games, street dancing, the Mr. and Ms. BatStateU-The NEU and many other activities to commemorate the foundation anniversary. The celebration is a successful one as the students, faculty members and staffs actively participated in the said event and it truly gave a relaxing and joyful week to the people in BatStateU- The NEU. As a student who are lucky to witness the 120th anniversary of BatStateU-The NEU, I can say that the celebration is a good opportunity for us students, to relax, unwind, and enjoy the week as the midterm exams have been finished and because of the celebrations we were able to rest our minds. The celeration is also a good opportunity to students to showcase their talents in different fields like in arts, dancing, singing, ball games, quiz bee and others. As for our experience during the celebration, I can say that it is lively and we enjoy watching ball games at the gym especially the basketball girls, the players are good and they have the sense of sportsmanship. The dancers are also good even though it was scorching hot they were able to perform the best that they can and we really enjoy the overall performance. Watching the performances during facebook live is also fun as the performances are good and the live was more convenient for us because we’re far from the school and the fare is expensive so the facebook live is one of our ways to support our classmates even though we are not physically present. Each college departments have its own way to celebrate the said event, there are partnerships with some food stalls for the students to enjoy the event with a full stomach and refreshing drinks. The event is very busy but it is a very joyful long week celebration for the 120th anniversary.

Batangas State University (BatStateU) held its 120th founding anniversary and first anniversary as the National Engineering University celebration, which began by calling all the college departments and extension campuses, October 18.

October 18 to 20 is the day that we celebrate the 120th founding anniversary and first anniversary as the National Engineering University ,different events happened in the few days celebrating it and we enjoyed it because our professors gave us the opportunity to join in different events.

Before everyone started, the event began by thanking the lord with those who will participate in the event such as professors and students.First day before celebrating the 120th anniversary there was a mass held at the gynasium at 8 am in the morning October 18, 2023. Being a part of this event is a great honor for me because as a student of Batangas State University-TNEU this pride of mine has been a witness to the daily challenge as a college student and I'm grateful that my journey has brought me here to a paradisiacal place full of fun and trials.

Batangas State University-TNEU redeem title in 7th STRASUC CAF . Once Again, Batangas State University-TNEU glorified and soars to victory as the OVERALL CHAMPION in the recently concluded event at Occidental Mindoro State College.

BatStateU-TNEU trailed the defending champion,Southern Luzon State University by 36 points, rising to the top among the 12 SUCs in Regions IV-A and B. Red Spartan tallied a total of 101 points combined from 6 gold medals ,1 silver ,5 bronze and 3 fourth place finishes.

One of the events that I was looking forward to was the Festival Dance Competition because I saw how they prepare for this competition because different campuses of BSU will be the opponents, I see them always practicing in front of the CTE building so I am always one of them witnessed their great pageantry.

Red spartan furnish with the best performance that's why bsu became the champion and iam very proud even though i wasn't involved in their performance i was able to support them i cheered them on while they were performing.

Outperforming 12 SUCs from the Southern Tagalog region, they brought home six golds, one silver, five bronzes, and three fourth places, outpacing the competition by 36 points.

As part of the celebration of the 120th year founding anniversary of Batangas State University- The National Engineering University, Pablo Borbon Campus held its Barakahang Borbonian.

Stalls of various Local products of farmers are available such as vegetables, fruits, and home-made goods.And i notice the different food in stall but I didn't taste it because I don't know if it's free or what but for sure they sell that because there is nothing free now .

Let me also say about the intrams even though it is no longer part of the 120th annversary, even though I am not one of the sports players, I enjoyed watching my colleagues from the department which is the CAS department ,their talent in different sports has been the reason or way for our department to be recognized and win, their unity is the one of the best secret tricks for them to succeed in their fight.

As a red Spartan and as a CASama, continue the heritage of academic excellence, cultural invention, and community engagement at Batangas State University. Embrace the challenges of the future with creativity, adaptability, and a cooperative spirit, icing that the College of trades and lores remains a mecca of alleviation and knowledge for generations to come.

In celebration of 120th Founding Anniversary of BatStateU - The NEU, OSO commenced the Barakahan ng Borbonian student fair '23. This strengthen the camaraderie, promoting sustainability, the Office of Student Organizations (OSO) and the Extension Service Office (ESO) welcomed the Barakahan ng Borbonian and Student Fair to Pablo Borbon Grounds on October 18.The aforementioned events promoted collaborations between local companies offering a range of goods, including coffee beans, fresh fruits and vegetables, handicrafts, and photography.At today's Organization Fair, seven booths representing student organizations displayed varied ideas and offered items in collaboration with nearby suppliers and service providers.

In addition to the celebration of 120th Founding Anniversary of BatStateU - The NEU held the coronation of Mr. and Ms. BatStateU '23. CABEIHM claimed the two crowns that night. The winners of MMBatStateU '23. Ms. Jhen-Jhen Maligaya and Mr. Amir Magadia, both from College of Accountancy, Business, Economics, and International Hospitality Management (CABEIHM), emerged as title holders after they managed to secure the crown with joined hands. A total of 30 contestants from Integrated School (IS), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CONAHS), CABEIHM, and College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), as well as representatives from extension campuses of BSU- The NEU Pablo Borbon—San Juan, Lemery, and Rosario Campus battled head to head with the odds as they try to get hold of the crown through posture and wits.

In the 3 day celebration, many events are held on the BatStateU - Pablo Borbon campus. This gives a new and memorable experience for the red spartans that can contribute to hone their skills. This events gives priority to the Borbonians and red spartans to grow, learn, enjoy and challenge themselves to get out of their comfort zone. Honestly i regret not attending the celebration, i did not attend the celebration because of my health issue. But i support and celebrate with them online, i shared posts about what was happening on the campus.

Let me tell you about this epic day at our intramurals! From the moment I started watching their practices, I knew I had to show my support for these incredible athletes. Even though I couldn't make it to their match, I was there in spirit, cheering them on during their intense practice sessions. Watching them from the sidelines brought me so much joy, and I couldn't help but get hyped every time they scored.

As I stood there, soaking up the energy of the practice sessions, I was blown away by the dedication and talent of these dual-sport athletes. It was like they were on a whole different level, giving it their all every single time. Even though I was just practicing myself, I couldn't help but cheer them on with all my might.

The basketball girls, they were something else. The way they handled that ball, shooting it with such precision and finesse, left me in awe. It was like witnessing pure magic on the court. Every shot they made, I couldn't help but jump up and shout my support. It was like I was part of the team, even though I was just a spectator.

And let me tell you about the volleyball players. Their teamwork and coordination were on point. The way they communicated and moved as one unit was a sight to behold. Those powerful spikes and killer passes had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't help but cheer them on, even if it was just from the side. The energy was contagious, and I was right there with them, celebrating every point.

Being a part of the intramurals and supporting these dual-sport athletes was an unforgettable experience. Even though I couldn't make it to their match, I was there in spirit, cheering them on during their practices. Watching them play basketball and volleyball was like witnessing greatness unfold before my eyes. The passion, skill, and determination they displayed were truly inspiring. I'll continue to support them in their journey, and I can't wait to see what they achieve in the future. Go team!

Batangas State University-TNEU celebrated their 120th Foundation and 1st Anniversary as National Engineering University in Pablo Borbon last October 18-20 ,2023.

In line with this classes in Pablo Borbon will be conducted as suspended but we are required to go to school to attend the event.

October 18 2023 - 8:00AM in the morning , In a congregation of gratitude guided by Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales, attendees offered their solemn prayers during the Ecumenical Service centered on the success of BatStateU-The NEU at Gov. Feliciano "Sanoy” Leviste Memorial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, October 18.

Succeeding the holy mass, the blessing of the Four-Level Parking led by Fr. Carlos Coloso went underway.

Grooving to melody — Pablo Borbon (PB) college departments and its extension campuses embodied sensational moves in modern hip-hop, contemporary, and festival dance competitions held at Gov. Feliciano "Sanoy" Leviste Memorial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, October 18.

Showcasing efforts to embody the university's identity, PB's CABEIHMvastic claims victory in Spartan Icon; Rosario Campus' Zuñoan Dominators earned second place, while the Ferocious IS won third.

In addition, the cultural presentation of the CABEIHMvastic Eagles captivated the audiences' awe, finishing first-place in the Festival Dance Competition while the Sigasig San Juan's Lambayok Festival Fete bagged second; CONAHS Padayon earned the third spot.

Meanwhile, the Ferocious IS clinched the Modern Hip-hop Dance Competition, winning gold; the CONAHS Pandayon earned second place while the Zuñoan Dominators acquired the third spot.

Furthermore, in the Contemporary Dance Competition, the CONAHS Padayon triumphed over CTE's Enduring Knights and the Ferocious IS who brought home silver and bronze, respectively.

As a Red Spartan, We participate through supporting and cheering them in their competition in the said event.

And as a CASama, We are so proud in the Men-Volleyball Competition because CAS won in their game.

Promoting the Computer Laboratory of Batangas State University-Malvar Campus

In every school, it must have a computer lab. Students look over first the computer laboratory because it is one of their priorities in school facilities due to their heavy academic works and thesis. Well, here in Batangas State University, I must say that computer laboratory is one of the fine laboratory of the campus because It is newly established and located in the beautiful spot. 

This computer lab is located at the 3rd floor of CECS building, in front of the Admin building. When you get inside, you will feel cozy because it is air conditioned. 

The color of the room is white, that makes the area neat and orderly. It also has two doors; the entrance and exit. On the right side is the entrance while the exit is on the left. 

The floor is in tile flooring and it is white also. When it comes on the chair, It has monoblocks, that I find it comfortable to sit on. It has 25 computer units for students and 3 computer units for the faculties for the total of 28 computer units. 

The computer units is situated on a wooden table with divider. All the computers has an access to the internet and it was so fast and no lags. 

The good thing is that you can open their your social media accounts because it was not blocked to the program or system of the computer. It is okay to log in all your social media accounts but on the good purpose. Always remember to follow the rules inside the computer lab.

Not only the whole interior, equipment and tools is fine but also the facilitator. They are so accommodating to the students. Whenever you see things that is unfamiliar, facilitators are always there to help you.

My first dance video ever 😭 I'm so grateful and proud that I got to do something like this. All thanks to our Coach Sean and to my co-GPAs! I really made it possible that I'll be part of this video since it's probably my last dance with them because I will be starting my 4-month internship in Manila on January 28. Huhu no more dance rehearsals and trainings with them this sem. I already miss them.
