You know tumblr did it right when you search for bbc robin hood and 98% of the results is guy of gisborne.

However, I want to notice that now that I’m rewatching the show my face was totally astounded when I heard Sheriff saying ”A clue: no” for the first time in 10 years. I had totally forgotten it yet I had some memories unlocked! i definitely used it as a phrase back then! (And perhaps should start again)

Plus Keith Allen is marvelous! And I love the character. These two are my reasons to watch the show (even though the vibes, angles and everything is so close to Merlin that I’d love to just change it to Camelot.)

what was going on in early 2000s bbc fantasy television series. they really said okay here are the 90 square feet of forest we're going to film in here's our combined $25 budget for costumes from the thrift store here's the most batshit plot imaginable. Katie McGrath and Richard Armitage are here and they're going to give performances that would make shakespeare weep tears of joy. also we're going to throw in a cgi dragon voiced by john hurt

I think rewatching BBC Robin Hood was a mistake. I haven't watched this since maybe 2011? But the smile that overcame me in like 5 seconds after seeing Allan A Dale in the first episode just made me happy. Back in 2009 on my other blog (that had the exact same url/title before I deleted it and made this one) was all about this show. Go back far enough and I think my first post on here might be the tag "legends live forever, heroes don't".

What should I rewatch and review??

Hello all!

I have just had the bright idea to rewatch a tv show from my catalog of teenage obsessions. I really want to return to something I haven't seen in a long time but still feel very fond of. The twist is that I will also do a review/roast of each episode. I intend for the roast aspect to be very light hearted and in good humor. Like I said, these are shows that I once was deeply emotionally invested in. So I am coming from this with an appreciation for what the show is while also poking fun at the dorky bits.

Feedback appreciated!

Also, I'm sure other people have done this before but I'm just looking for a little hobby for myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm sorry, I just started watching the BBC robin hood show and it's absolutely wild.

Some guy just said "I did it! I shot the sheriff!" And the sheriff goes "No. You shot my deputy."

everyone should get into BBC Robin Hood (2006-2009). it has everything:

a budget of about £20

It seems Tumblr hid my gifs of Allan a Dale from episode 2 from the #mygangtome tag and I suspect it's because - ahem - Allan is topless for like 50% of said gifs. So I've made a shorter (more appropriately clothed) gifset for episode 2.
