The rug portrays the mystical serpent, a powerful symbol of the divine feminine’s universal earth energy. Across local Bulgarian folklore and worldwide beliefs, the snake has been a crucial figure with profound mythological importance. In ancient times, people often linked snakes with healing. As an embodiment of chaos, fertility, and wisdom, the snake represents both fire and water, earthly and divine, as well as death and rebirth.

SCRAP, PRINT, BOOK WORKSHOP

Творческата работилница се провежда в рамките на два дена, резултатът от които ще бъде обединен в краен продукт - книга. По време на първия ден ще бъдат създадени произведения на тема, чрез експериментиране със семпли техники за множество отпечатъци, колаж, монотипия и рисунка. На втория ден участниците ще се запознаят с различни похвати и практически занятия по изготвяне на книжно тяло. За целта и в двата уъркшопа ще се използват страници от стари списания, карти, разписки и непотребна хартия. В края на работилниците всеки участник ще си тръгне със собственоръчно изработено издание, с уникално по рода си съдържание.

The workshop takes place over two days, the result of which will be combined into a final product - a book. During the first day, themed artworks will be created by experimenting with simple techniques of multiple prints, collage, monotype and drawing. On the second day, participants will be introduced to various techniques and hands-on sessions on making a book body. Pages from old magazines, maps, receipts and unused paper will be used for this purpose in both workshops. At the end of the workshops, each participant will walk away with a handmade publication, with unique content.

През февруари-март 2023 година, галерия Æther Art Space ще се трансформира в ателие на Blood Becomes Water. Тук ще имате възможност да се запознаете с творчеството на колектива и да видите работния процес на Rosie Eisor при създаването на текстилни пана и килими.

Откриването е на 4 февруари в 14:00 часа.

Студиото ще бъде отворено за посещение всеки съботен ден от 4 февруари до 18 март, между 14:00 и 19:00 часа, на адрес: ул. Княз Борис I, 39, София.

Също така, има възможност за индивидуални посещения извън работното време, след предварителна уговорка.

Този проект е реализиран със съдействието на Национален фонд „Култура“ по програма „Творчески стипендии“.

Присъединете се към Rosie Eisor в работилницата за създаване на персонализирани значки, която ще се проведе в неделя (12 февруари), от 14:00 ч. в галерия Æther (ул. Княз Борис I, 39, София). Роузи ще сподели с вас как ползва значките като носител на изкуство, средство на изразяване и моден аксесоар, култ към любима банда или кауза.

Изработването на значки е лесно и много забавно. Нека бъдем креативни и създадем свой собствен оригинален дизайн!

Работилницата е отворена за всички и ще се проведе в рамките на час и половина в група от 6 човека.

Таксата е 25 лв., която включва основни материали за изработване на 5 значки с размер 50мм. или 10 значки с размер 25мм. За всяка следваща, независимо от размера, се доплащат по 2 лв.

По желание може да подготвите идеи, да донесете ваши изображения върху тънка хартия, маркери, флумастри и други материали за рисуване

Първият брой на Blood Becomes Water беше публикуван преди десет години, когато все още не съществуваше локална зин сцена. Неслучайно избрахме да започнем с “българският брой”, считайки че е важно да имаме свое собствено издание, което да ни постави на картата в по-големия свят на книги за изкуство и фанзини.

“Тhe Bulgarian Issue” #2 събира произведения в 56 страници, отпечатани в различни техники като сериграфия, ризография и дигитален печат. Изданието е ръчно изработено и в ограничен тираж от 50 екземпляра.

На откриването в четвъртък (10.09) от 16:30 часа, публиката ще има възможност да се наслади на селекция от плочи на BBW колектива, ще има специален мърч с колекционерска стойност и още други изненади.

Галерия INTRO ще работи от понеделник до събота, между 14:00 - 19:30 ч., вход свободен.
