“Don’t trust anything you think about your life after 9pm” I chant almost religiously as I consider buying a desktop and learning how to do VFX in Unreal Engine bc I’m spiraling about my current college/career prospects

#personal rant in tags. reader beware:#help I’m stressed #been really wanting to learn 3D sculpting and animation anyway #and planned to get a desktop post graduation #but I want to build up skills in the field I’m interested in so I can enter to job market with more on my belt #like I love writing but I want to open myself up to working on creative projects in other aspects too #and it is genuinely something I have an interest it #but the thing is I keep falling behind in school and I lowkey don’t like my job which is crazy bc I also really like my job #and it’s like do I trust myself to be like “I’m gonna learn this new thing! when I can’t keep up with my other commitments?#bc I feel similarily about working on music production skills #but I never do bc I know I need to put schoolwork first but then I don’t do the schoolwork #it’s THAT kind of executive dysfunction yknow?#ugh I need to go back to therapy honestly #personal #rant
