I completely believe the monologue was full of lies and it being based on Will’s feelings is definitely gonna come up in season 5 but I still can’t help but have a bit of doubt when I remember the Duffers saying they were proud of it and it was Finn’s best performance. Like if they’re going to have mitochondria break up next season why even have a love confession in the first place? I’m literally so confident in byler but this is the one thing that keeps me from completely believing it’ll happen to be honest 😕

ok anon im here to assure you that you really dont have to worry too much about it!! i had this kind of doubt before but tbh ive already moved past it bc i believe the monologue wasnt “unnecessary” by any means, the reason people say that if byler was meant to happen they wouldnt have had inserted the love confession is because they’re viewing it purely through a byler lens and not consider what it means for el’s arc specifically...one thing im certain about in the monologue is that whether or not mike was trying to be genuine or was lying the whole time, el didn’t receive his words positively. she didnt believe a single word he said even if it wouldve been a sincere attempt from him. while he was delivering the monologue she didnt actually feel the love she was supposed to feel from the words that went out of his mouth because if she did, it wouldve been shown to us visually. they wouldve shown us el recalling memories from all the times mike supposedly loved her, but instead we get her gradually being choked harder and looking even more in despair? we know that they had the opportunity to make use of more memories because they did use one memory from when el and mike first met, but it’s the only one that managed to surface on el’s mind because to her, it was the only truthful thing she felt from mike’s words. the monologue was necessary because it helped her realize that even after that verbal affirmation of ily coming from mike, she still didnt feel that he loved her. it helped her realize that his words alone are shallow and empty if he didnt actually show it to her. as someone said, it was a situation where el needed to hear the words ily from mike’s mouth in order for her to realize that she didn’t actually need it this whole time. it was necessary for her arc before she could finally decide to let go of him, as it was the final nail in the coffin that revealed he truly didnt love her *romantically* and just further proved that she didn’t need him anymore since his love confession didn’t actually work and wasn’t what managed to make her free herself from vecna’s grasp.

as for the duffers saying it was finn’s best performance...i think its because it does capture a lot of emotions at once (mike desperate to save el and saying what he thinks she wants to hear from him and the anxiety from having to see if it will work, and the urgency of the situation) and its not just supposed to be taken at face value thats why i believe theyre “proud” of it, though i dont agree with them that it was finn’s best performance but thats how i see it 🤷‍♀️ and ofc at the end of the day it was all prompted by will’s words and feelings (and they actively chose to write it that way) which will eventually lead to everything thats currently holding mlvn’s relationship to fall apart.

just remember that if they intended it to be mlvn’s big moment and something only about the love between the two of them, they wouldn’t have had constantly panned it to will and jonathan’s reactions or even show will in the background because it removes the intimacy in a moment thats supposed to be just about the two of them. the fact that they were even showing us will’s pained face just means that they wanted us to sympathize with him even up to that very moment!!

LOKI THEORY

SPOILER WARNING FOR EPISODES 1 2 AND 3 UNDER THE CUT

mobius was an eternal, one of the people chosen by the celestials to guard humanity, but he strayed away from that mission, by falling in love with a mortal and deciding not to be an eternal anymore.

because of that ravonna took him and mindwiped him. since he was one of the original agents he got a name instead of a number. but ravonna took a liking to him and let him keep his name instead of giving him a number. but mobius kept on realizing that the tva is evil so ravonna kept on mind wiping him. eventually she gave him the job of analyst in hopes that his special job will keep him sedated but it doesnt work thats why mobius doesnt remember the pen bc he got it for her but in a previous mind wipe

so now its the end of episode 3, loki and sylvie are trapped on a dying planet and mobius is at the tva.

the episode starts with a bunch of flashbacks, revealing themselves to be mobius's past memories, that he doesn't remember

there's two options for mobius to go. either he thinks that loki betrayed him or he trusts loki enough to know that loki wouldn't leave him.

the first option leads to mobius tracking down loki, since loki was his responsibility, and bringing both him and sylvie to ravonna to be mind wiped. once mobius finds them, he brings them in and loki, desperate to tell mobius the truth, tells mobius about being a variant. but mobius doesnt believe loki since he thinks that loki lied to him.

the second option has mobius finding loki and sylvie and bringing them straight to his office or somewhere private and questoning them. he has a bit of trust in loki that hes determined to prove. during this transportation one of the hunters, probably b-15 notices and reports them to ravonna. before ravonna gets to them, loki tells mobius everything, and mobius still doesnt believe him.

both of these paths lead to loki and sylvie being taken in front of ravonna. once in front of ravonna, she decides that they're both dangerous, and whether or not mobius is protesting, mind wipes both of them and thats how the episode ends.

episode 5 starts with loki and sylvie both having numbers, working peacefully for the tva. mobius is somewhere else, having a crisis, reading over files and trying to determine if loki was telling him the truth. eventually he'll realize that loki wasn't lying and start planning a way to break loki, and sylvie out of the tva. he pulls loki aside first and does something to jog his memory (ive heard true loves kiss works great) and together they break sylvie free.

episode 6 (which isnt as in depth as the first two) roughly will have loki mobius and sylvie attempting to break everyone out of the tva and eventually burning the tva down, creating a bunch of multiverses, which is the lead up into doctor strange and the multiverse of madness (also how spiderman 3 will happen)

another note is that ren in egyptian mythology is a part of the soul, the name, so renslayer means name-slayer, which is a giant clue that ravonna is the one mind wiping people

hbo spn storylines, drabbles, ideas, thoughts, wishlist, whatever you may call it. it’s messy, nothing makes sense and pretty sure a lot of these contradict each other

more of sam at stanford with jessica/flashbacks. jessica potentially lives but is revealed to be a demon (but she developed actual feelings for sam and really did come to care for him because a demon falling in love with a human would be SO interesting) OR she lives but her memory gets wiped like dean did to lisa OR she dies like she did but she is a ghost that haunts sam (he welcomes it but eventually he lets her go -> character arc). he still dreams about her though and he has her keepsakes with him wherever he goes, her rings, her favourite book, anything that was left of her from the fire

you have to be extremely careful when making deals with demons because they are cunning and evil creatures. they will follow the rules of the deal but will find loopholes to put some sadistic twist on the terms. you want money? of course, too bad you’ll be arrested for fraud before you can use any of it and spend the next ten years in jail before i drag you to hell. you want a perfect husband? sure he’ll love you. in fact, he’ll love you so much he’ll keep you locked up in the basement to keep you safe etc etc. saving a person often becomes the person that causes or leads to your death.

the creation of jack: after s5, when lucifer is trapped in the cage again lucifer fuses his own soul with a human soul to create jack, who escapes to earth to find sam and castiel. i have a longer post about this saved in my drafts

lucifer is trapped for good in the cage after s5 but if he was to return again, dean would kill him while sam would kill michael - this would be nice parallels and a sort of fulfillment of the “one brother must kill the other” prophecy because one brother DO kill another brother, just not their own

more azazel and how he came to the plan of how to free lucifer; opening a hell gate earlier, more experimentations with the demon blood etc

mary was infected with the blood when she was a baby, sam is the first and only second generation special child (longer post about that here)

personally, i want to see more and know more about john and mary’s relationship. when mary died, john and mary had fulfilled their destiny (having sam and dean) so does that mean that his love and dedication to mary post her death was falsely fabricated by the angels to ensure sam and dean would grow up in ideal conditions to become hunters? or maybe, after mary’s death, john wakes up from the spell with two kids he doesn’t recognize and a wife he thinks he loved, but the memories of the past years of his life are like a fever dream; he never wanted to live in a town like this nor was he interested in having kids? but here the house is, and here are his kids, but now he’s alone and empty and with no answers. (idk i just find john and mary and their relationship very fascinating) if the latter, if john and mary see each other again it’s like the spell activates again and they become blindly in love with each other, but once gone, they return to their confused and hazey state of mind, like just woken up from a coma

i do like mary coming back but i love how in s5 when she wasn’t found in heaven it was hinted that she was just discarded because she had fulfilled her “purpose” and i think this adds to the whole notion of how heaven and angels can be really cruel AND how mary is this mythical, religious figure to both sam and dean and we only get to know her through their lenses, like religion and faith

ruby is present for a longer amount of time to make the reveal even more shocking. at one point or another, dean does actually trust her and they all work together on cases for a while. ruby’s backstory as a witch is more explored. i like her death in s4 because she’s in this total state of euphoria and has achieved a goal only she was entrusted with, and she is so convinced sam will understand, until sam holds her down while dean carves her heart out. so we either keep that or she serves lucifer for a while (until he kills her which she is happy about because of her blind loyalty to him, could again mirror dean and john/castiel and heaven) or she serves lucifer and like crowley she realizes lucifer will kill demons after humans (redemption arc, but i don’t really like that, let her be evil!!)

dean and sam helps bela out of her deal and she becomes their go-to person when they need a magic item or book. she doesn’t like it but she owes them. regularly hooks up with jo.

angels are really hollow soldiers - they only follow orders and don’t understand the concept free will or choice or individuality at all. they are extremely righteous and strike without warning often on a whim, often very bloody (explosions a la castiel in swan song). if something fall into what they consider justice they will kill it. no concept of love, attraction or gender. real form can’t be perceived by humans unless they want them to, which leads to eyes melting (pamela) or breaking a person’s mind (in 5.16 zachariah actually says that sam and dean sees him in his vessel bc they’re ‘limited’. so.)

castiel, anna, maybe uriel and some others are exceptions to this, but only becomes so after longer exposure to human’s world. even then, they don’t change their violent whims, just the reasoning and where their loyalty lies

hbo spn is s1-5 stretched out for 8-10 seasons with the aesthetics of s1-2. i’m cutting out demon dean, purgatory, the mark of cain, the men of letters, the alphas, leviathatan, god being the real villain all along and the other worlds because it was just too much and far remived from the roadtrip aesthetic. keeping kevin, charlie (she is introduced via ash bc they’re hacker friends), the trials, rowena, uuuh the angels falling is such an interesting concept but idk if it would fit. maybe metatron? but his motivations are different. soullessness + the concept of souls might be kept if it’s explained better. i’m torn on whether or not to include the campbells

hell, heaven and purgatory are explained but only seen in glimpses, keep these ideas ambiguous and up to interpretation outside of what we hear. remember the line ‘hell is...well, it’s like hell. even for demons’? leave it at that. the exception is 5.16 bc that episode fucks so hard

if we end on swan song and let the show be the tragedy it is, i want to keep the ambiguous ending. is that sam or lucifer? if it’s sam, will he contact dean or walk away? we will never know! there is also no ‘the world is ending’ more than once, it really lost its impact after the second or third time.

idk how i feel about the men of letters - it is logical that there would be organized hunting and an established network and system on how to do things, but for the sake of keeping it hbo-style and grounded, there are no networks beyond the roadhouse and singer’s salvage yard.

i want sam and dean not have a permanent home except the impala, motels and impala ONLY. the bunker had potential but it was just for the sake of convenience it was there with all the lore and answers they needed when it was necessary. maybe eventually they do stop travelling so much when it becomes more about the Big Stuff instead of the episodic cases that requires driving all the time but it will be like an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. i want sam and dean to never have a physical house as a home but they scrape together whatever they have make something similar to a show

as the show progresses, sam and dean become pretty hated by other hunters because they’ve started apocalypse and have an increasingly shitty reputation. and john was an infamous good hunter but also a dick. everybody knows that people who work with the winchesters often end up dead, that one brother will sacrifice anything and anyone to save the other and that they frequently work alongside demons. even the ones they DO work with (jo, ellen, bobby, rufus, bela) are hesitant to be involved with them

sam’s powers are strong but after killing lilith and the truth revealed to him, he represses the powers in shock and fear of how blinded he was by them and the rush of power they gave him. a little more about how sam fears what the lust for power and strength did to him. he continues to repress his powers, often to a dangerous point where he will be on death’s door as a result of not using them. when meeting jack and mentoring him in using his powers, jack asks him about sam’s powers after sensing them. sam eventually decides to lead by example and embraces his powers again, but remains extremely careful about using them (this also fulfills dean’s arc of having to let go of the holy-innocent-pure-ideal-not a person but an idealized version of sam-little brother sam he has put on a pedestal for so long)

bobby is viewed as a father figure by sam and dean but bobby makes it clear he doesn’t want that burden or relationship in his life after his wife died. he makes this clear to them too, but sam and dean have fucked up perceptions of parental figures so they don’t think bobby means it (they just latch on to whatever parental figures they can find)

we see more of sam’s relationship with the side characters; sam and jo hunt together on occasion, he hangs out with ash and talks hacking when visiting the roadhouse. he and ellen loves playing poker together. if anything, dean is the one who’s isolated - he only ever really cared about mary, john, sam and cassie, and never really had any friends. sam is way more well adjusted and sociable after spending time at stanford where he’s had conversations that didn’t only revolve around dead bodies and lore. 

this could also feed into dean’s extreme abandonment issues and isolation he feels and how this would affect his psyche

sam and dean are both unknowingly prepared to become the perfect vessels; sam loses his humanity by becoming more and more like lucifer (defying his father and his will) while dean becomes prepared by doing what michael did; casting his brother away in his time of need (blindly following his father and his will). very much like in s4 but even more intense and brutal (i love angst :))

we see different hybrids; demon/human (antichrist), human/(arch)angel (nephilim) and demon/angel (???), but none of them are all powerful bc narratively that’s really boring. they’re strong but have very specific powers that affects them and/or their surroundings in catastrophic ways (but no other worlds bs, we stick to the road trip aesthetic, keep it grounded). i want the only all powerful character to be god but he doesn’t show up at all, he’s the ultimate absent father. is it chuck? we never find out!

powers would for example include giving people diseases, force anyone close to them to tell the truth (not consciously, it’s just the air around them), read minds, create storms, light things on fire when they’re angry, make people hallucinate etc. like fucked up shit but not things that are too grande because again - that’s really boring

abbadon, the princes of hell and the four horsemen are more fleshed out villains instead of the one season reign the each had. 

being a prince of hell is a title that is inherited - after azazel dies, sam gets the title because he is the one with azazel’s blood in him OR meg does, but idk if that would be as interesting (if she actually was his daughter)

it remains a horror show throughout, lots of gore and blood

the moral code and ethics of the brothers are the opposite of the beginning; dean thinks in black and white, sam sees shades of grey and individuals instead of what they are. however, as the show progresses, their train of thought becomes opposites; dean becomes more open to how people are true evil and how monsters are often victims of their circumstance while sam becomes harsher and less forgiving after ruby’s betrayal along with finding out the truth of his existence and how there’s been demons around his entire life. eventually they’re on the same page and they see the circumstances. 

on the other hand; i also really fuck with the idea of dean maintaining his black and white morals on that all monsters=inherently evil, humans=inherently pure and good, but he is the only human on team free will. sam is half demon, castiel is an angel, jack is a nephilim, rowena is a witch, garth is a werewolf, mary is a zombie etc

demons become demons in hell by agreeing to become the torturer and thus giving up their humanity to be free of pain, does that mean they could become humans again by regaining some humanity? by doing good deeds? (potentially this is confirmed with jessica and how she came to love sam; genuine love and care for a human could reverse the demon process?) this also means dean was a demon in hell but was purified/turned back again when castiel raised him. this also plays into dean becoming like michael; in trying to absolve himself from what he did in hell he becomes ruthless, unforgiving and righteous to evil, much like the angels, regardless of his personal connection to a person and what he would consider “evil”

dean and pacifisim: after dean is cured from being a demon/the mark of cain/is made aware of his blind righteousness that he used as an excuse to kill, he becomes firmly determined to reign in his anger and violent tendencies by becoming a pacifist (like sam in s11) as a way to redeem all the blood he’s spilled. of course in his profession and true dean fashion he won’t be able to do it 100% so he decides to only act in self defense, and he only goes batshit violent on the offense when it’s about protecting sam

OR. dean’s self righteousness becomes his own downfall; the belief that all evil must be eradicated, refusal to see the circumstances and the shades of grey is what pushes him to lose his humanity and become a demon and therefore, in a potential ending the ruler of hell, because i think it would such an interesting journey from a to b, that dean starts out human, revels in his holiness, executes and kills in the name of his own holiness in the belief that he’s becoming the ultimate angel, the ultimate hero when it’s doing the opposite. if this happened then sam would take the opposite route; starts as a human, becomes more and more demonic, stops himself and returns to his hopeful and optimistic self, has faith and humility and that is what makes him ascend from abomination to purified and holy (trials). 

this could be a perfect 10 season structure as well: s1-5 are when sam and dean start off humans; dean becomes holy and as close to an angel a human can be, while sam drinks the demon blood and almost becomes one to gain the freedom and power he wants, but begins to turn it around to send lucifer back to hell. s6-10 is when dean becomes the unholy and sam becomes the holy even though neither realize because now there’s no grand master plan - this is who they are, who they choose themselves. don’t know how this ould end though; either as normal humans again (but there wouldn’t really be a ”normal” after everything) or they really go off the rails with sam like ruling heaven (not as god though, just as a good and just man) and dean ruling hell. castiel is human and stays on earth with jack.

the gothic americana aesthetic is kept throughout the entire show and is only shot on film

after s5 castiel returns to heaven to help restore order, and he takes charge for a little while, but eventually returns to earth after trying to introduce democracy to angels who didn’t get it. in his place, anna takes over and she rules heaven well (after trying to kill mary when going back in time she isn’t killed by michael, but narrowly escapes and remains in hiding to heal until castiel reaches out and finds her)

when finding out they are The Vessels and will be brought back regardless of what they try, sam and dean explore what this means more. dean throws himself into dangers and to protect others. he is burned, blown up, stabbed, electrocuted, beheaded and eaten, but wakes up the next morning in his bed without a scratch, without any pain and memories of his deaths. he revels in this untouchability. sam kills himself over and over only to be resurrected again and again by lucifer. he remembers the pain and blood.

that being said, while dean is like angel royalty, sam is demon royalty. the demons don’t go after him, they don’t hurt him. some even offer up themselves to be drained of blood, even after lilith’s death. it makes it really difficult to stay clean but he pulls through with dean and castiel actually supporting him. to help sam get through his addiction, dean stops drinking alcohol and they go through their withdrawal together

the angels almost worship dean as the michael sword and have an open disgust towards sam for being lucifer’s vessel - they always answer dean’s prayers and calls for help, they follow his orders if need be and don’t hesitate to heal him if he needs it. sam could pray until his vocal chords bleed or call out for help while holding his guts in his hands; none of the angels would come to his aid. the only one who answers sam’s prayers is lucifer as a voice in sam’s head or a hallucination. sam could call demons to help him out but he refuses

sam isn’t the first hunter to drink demon blood, to try to enhance his own abilities using the supernatural as a means to get there - there are hunters who have altered themselves with parts from werewolves and vampires to become better hunters, like the styne family (the guys from s10), blurring the lines again of what’s good and human vs what is evil and inhumane

if angels can’t find a vessel to volunteer, they will force them to say yes - the how is not important, only that the ‘yes’ is said, whether its meant or not, any verbal yes will do. the angels never sleep and they never eat, which is disturbing to sam and dean who are exhausted all the time and eat scraps whenever they can

castiel, like all other angels, is taught to despise and not care about sam winchester at all, but the more castiel gets to know sam, he becomes fascinated with him, how lucifer’s ultimate vessel, starter of the apocalypse and destroyer of god’s creation can be so kind and gentle, so full of faith, acceptance, optimism and hope. in dean castiel sees a good man, yes, but also a man who’s bloodthirsty, rages, revels in war, resorts all problems with violence, loves conditionally and expects unquestioned loyalty. sam too, has a darkness and bloodthirst in him, but it only comes out in glimpses. castiel thinks it’s funny, how sam turns out to be the opposite of lucifer while dean is so alike michael

the youngest child of ted and elaine mccarrick, wes was a kid who is full of life. she’s the kind of kid who did things to make you smile, and it usually worked. she was warm and inviting, a little naive, but she had a strong support system.

her parents divorce when she’s six, she doesn’t quite understand it but her dad moves out, and her grandma and multiple cousins move in. it’s a lively household, between her mom, who works as a nurse, and her siblings, and her cousins, it was never really quiet and there was never a lot of room.

despite the split, her parents maintain that their children have a relationship with both of them, and truthfully, wes is a daddy’s girl. she and her dad were cut from the same cloth, happy go lucky, fun loving, a bit silly, he’s the one who introduces her to movies. it’s their thing, watching and critiquing them together, and it’s not whatever is in theatres either. they went for all times of filmmaking, new wave, surrealist, and more.

it really stuck with wes, who herself had begun making movies, mostly horror/fantasy/scifi stuff with her friends-- she writes and directs and occasionally, she’ll don a costume and star in them. they’re silly little things, but her family always sat down for her “premieres.”

her formative years are marked with plenty of things, sports, deaths of distant family members, a cousin or two who gets caught in the wrong crowd and ends up in jail, and throughout this, wes remains a rock for her family.

she meets steven in their first film class together, and they’re fast friends, despite her usual weariness of YET another film bro, steven proves to be a good egg. so she thinks. she finds out through him talking that he might not be the most faithful to his girlfriend, and as much as she doesn’t like meddling, she thinks it’s only right to let clarissa, who she doesn’t really know well, know. however, before there’s a chance, everything happens-- now she’s stuck wondering if she should reveal the truth, or let sleeping dogs lie.

nana is different, nana and her dated her sophomore year, nana’s freshman year. it wasn’t serious. but they were fond of each other. they eventually break up, but they stay friendly, waving to each other in the halls, chatting at parties.

both the disappearance and the murder is weird for wes, who by all accounts, isn’t great at dealing with bad shit. she prefers to laugh about things. laugh about everything. because if she doesn’t laugh, she’ll cry.

wes is a mess, a free-spirit, a walking contradiction. she’s very independent minded, the kind of person who does things without thinking so much about the consequences, this leads her into trouble sometimes. like nicking something from a convenience store, or stealing a stop sign as a prank. she’s definitely the kind to goof off and not exactly dedicate her full attention to something. and while she’s in genuinely good spirits on most occasions, she has a staunch ‘no asshole’ policy. the type to defend the underdogs, and go after bullies. she’ll punch you with a smile on her face, and yet it ends up being more unnerving than you realize. she’s a bit of a ditz, as well, never the best at school, but can talk your ear off about the going ons of the world. she’s a lovable dumbass, for sure, and loyal to a tee once you get her as a friend.

having ben be your guardian angel but you dont know it till one night (lets say this takes place where you’re affiliated with a mob) he comes back from fighting someone that wanted to kill you and he has to clean his wings. so you walk into your shared bedroom to see bright white wings sprouting from his back and it makes sense after you put it together and he thinks you’re mad bc he didn’t tell you but you just hug him and thank him for protecting you (lots and lots of fluff/angst pls)

Being a cop was your dream job and you achieved that goal a few years ago. You quickly evolved in the job and for one of the operation, you had to play the undercover cop inside the most famous Mob in the city. You have been very careful about it, doing your best not to be caught, or so you thought. You never realised you have been compromised, leading to you having a target on your back, and people ready to kill you.

You came home pretty late one night, you had a meeting with your superior to talk about your position in the Mob, but they didn’t seem to be aware that you were in danger, as they asked you to stay a little bit longer. 

You were overjoyed to finally be home, and your smile got bigger when you heard the shower running, knowing your boyfriend was home. “Ben?” you called out, but figured he couldn’t hear you because of the water. You made your way to the kitchen to grab something to eat, you waited a few minutes in the kitchen, thinking your boyfriend would come here, but he didn’t.

The shower had stopped, and you decided to go upstairs to see your boyfriend, but you weren’t ready for what was going to happen.

“What the hell?” you yelled, making your boyfriend jump out of scare. Well, could you still call him your boyfriend? Because what you had in front of your eyes wasn’t the Ben you always knew.

“Y/N, love… I didn’t hear you…” He said, trying to hide what he had on his back.

“What is that…” You asked, pointing at the giant wings on your boyfriend’s back.

“Y/N” He said as he hurried to put a hoodie over his bare chest and back, once the wings disappeared. He walked closer to you but you took a few steps back, refusing to stand to close. 

When he realised what you were doing, you swore you saw his heart shattering.

“I can explain”

“You’re a monster…” You muttered, your eyes filled with fear as you watched your boyfriend’s green eyes filled with tears, but seeing him like that made you bite your lips as soon as you let out those awful words, regretting every letters.

Ben took off his hoodie, revealing his bare torso and only one second later, his wings appeared, you instinctively took a step back. His wings were giant, and white but with beautiful feathers that seemed extremely soft.

“Does this makes you think of a monster?!” He asked, raising his voice. You took a closer look at his wings, at his face and the way he was always acting and it was not saying monster.

You shook your head no “An angel” you whispered and he nodded.

“Guardian angel”

“I thought it only existed in movies” you joked, as you walked to sit on the bed. What Ben told you really surprised you, and you needed to sit down to realise what was happening.

“Well I’m here, aren’t I?” he said smiling as he sat next to you.

“How? I mean, why? I’m in a blur…” you told him, completely lost in your thoughts

“I’m your guardian angel” He pointed out “When we met,et, I was assigned to keep an eye on you. For a while I watched you from afar but I eventually introduced myself to you”

“What do you mean, keep an eye on me?” You asked curious

“You have a risky job” He answer, remembering you your job like you forgot about it

“But I’m good at it and I’m handling it well!” You protested

“Oh really? Do you know why I was washing my wings?” He asked, getting a little bit angry

“No..” You mumbled

“I had to take care of those mobsters that were about to kill you, because they discovered you were an undercover com. Unfortunately I had some dirt on my wings but at least, you’re safe”

You were quite surprised by what he said, and you weren’t expecting that, you always thought your cover was safe but turns out that in a few days you’d be in a graveyard.

“Thank you… For saving my life” you finally said after being silent for some minutes

“It’s my job” He reminded you and you smiled.

“I’ve got one question” you began. You could believe all this angel story, because even though it was crazy, it was actually accurate, but there was still something on your mind “Do you love me? Or was this all an act to make sure I was fine?” You finally asked, a little bit scared of the answer.

“Of course I love you darling!” He replied right away, not understanding your doubts. But after thinking a little bit, he understood your questions. “Believe me, yes, I decided to be your friend to be closer to you, but with time, I really fell in love with you. I never lied about my feelings for you, and I never will” He said and hearing those words reassured you, and you knew he was telling the truth.

You sat closer to him without hurting yourself with his wings. “I am lucky to have you”

“You make me a better angel” he joked and you both laughed.

@ren-amamiyaa and their (he/she?) Golden Heist, Thief Nanako and Cryptid Chaser aus flooded my brain and now Im making this post bc I cant fit all of this in asks!!!

All right, so, idea. Cryptid Chasers, Thief Nanako and Golden Heist are all connected righr???

CC acts as a prequel, TN becomes the inbetween starring Nanako and Akechi, and GH stars a broken and older IT and slightly jaded PT.

So far CC has Yosuke and Naoto forming the brotp that fanon wanted through silly Saturday Night Ghost Chasers Shenanigans, Akiren is bein' a lil shit at midnight bc he needs an outlet and exercise to Phantom Thief. While this goes on, Akechi's ghost/spirit/rement/heart/whatever pulls pranks and shenans along with Joker (hiwever that happens).

As the Cryptid Chasers keep going out of their way to confront Joker about Arsene (bc even he likes to mess around) the other IT in Inaba start to try and stop them from disrupting the peace (read : harassing a known criminal) and this somehow leads to a falling out. Mayhaps Naoto and Yosuke break a few laws and Chie busts them, Kanji wants to know why theyre stalking his student/protege, and Yukiko just wants to keep the rumors about the inn in check bc jfc Yosuke STOP SCREECHING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IN THE LOBBY THERE IS NO GHOST ON THE TV!

Maybe eventually they call it quits or dont bc Naoto dug this hole too deep to climb out themself and Yosuke is having the time of his life since Partner isnt around and hasn't come back to visit yet (Not sayin' souyo is canon and there but-). And the Cryptid Chasers arc probably ends here with there being some animosity towards their shenanigans , but the IT are all still friends.

Now fast forward to like, uhhh (*flings dart at wall of calendars*) 2014 during winter and Akiren's cryptid acts are now fully accepted and maybe exposed, who knows. Nanako is like 10 ~ 12 (P5 is maybe three/five years post P4 I believe) and is just going through the motions of public education. I.E. go to class, do work, get good grades. Dojima is still the same as he was before Yu came but is at least doing better at being a dad, not much but better. Yosuke and Ted aren't around as much bc Junes, Chie is transferred to Tokyo, Yukiko is busy managing the Inn, and Kanji is busy with work (as a teacher and crafts business owner). Rise unfortunately cant come visit and Big Bro now visits every other year.

Nanako starts to look back and wonder how things started to fall apart amongst the group and recalls that "delinquent" who came back at the same time the Cryptid^tm showed up and ruined the group. So now she starts to remember the good times when Big Bro came by and starts to notice some blanks around winter... Why was she in the hospital when she got kidnapled? Why does she remember these weird flashes of Big Bro and his friends and some monster?? And how come she tried to ask them anything about it they brushed her off each time???

The TV in her room flashes and soon she starts hearing things. She starts to move closer to the tv, as if she was in some sort of trance, as the sounds start to become voices to her. When she's directly infront of the screen she sees something... someone on it...

Nanako doesnt show up for breakast, or to school, and nobody seems to have seen her.

A full year passes on after that day. It starts off with a big search party of the IT and Social Links for the first two months, then after ankther three something stange happens... are people forgetting that Nanako existed or something? Everybody's starting to act like completely different peoplw than who they are too, some even end up hospitalozed due to severe headaches and such, and start claiming that Nanako was never around when she vanished or that she left Inaba or was already deamed dead or missing. This rings alarms in the IT's mimds as they search for answers, eventually all fully reuniting for the first time in years/months.

Naoto and Yosuke blame themselves bc they piece together her disappearance with the Cryptid + Ghost case and immediately get scolded for trying to pin their stupid kids game on a missing person's case - especially now with Nanako missing and possibly in danger again! Afterwards the IT are a bit on edge and a bit broken with the whole thing. Meanwhile Akechi can hear the tale ends of "missing person" and "literal disappearnace" and starts looking into this weird limbo metaverse he's in bc some shit is kinda fucked in here now for some reason. They're pretty much only together as a team to rescue Nanako.

GH in the PTs POV starts when Akiren invites the group to the Amagi Inn thanks to licrative money grin- I mean training. He comes clean into having seen something weird on the tv one late night and wants to let the gang know.

Midnight rolls around and Akechi shows up on the screen and the Thieves losing their shit is an understatement - numerous noise complaints were filed that night. Anyways Akechi decides to just play the role of "hey moron, some shits fucked come help fix it" and ends up informing them of a missing girl and this weird TV Mementos world he is in.

I would like to note that Akechi is not at all bitter or confused at everyone's circumstances in life, no of course not Joker stop crying I know its been a while but shutup theres a kid in trouble rn and youre the only ones who can possibly help her.

When the PT figure out a plan to reach this other world Goro is in (Arsene : THOUARTTHEESTICKYOURHANDINTHETVDOITDOITDOITDOIT) the IT eventually come to the very sad conclusion that Nanako moght be in the TV world and that opens a whole can of worms and burnable bridges to cross.

While in the TV world, I'd like to imagine that due to Akechi having been there for a good while it has been shaped to reflect his heart and be the new overall theme of that world. It all still looks like Inaba, but it all holds themes to Akechi and his no good terrible life. However due to Nanako having been in that world as a kid, and now for an uncertain amount of time, the world now holds motifs to the Heaven area from P4, but it's all sorta ruined and kinda darker.

When both teams get together and enter the weird Tele-Mentos world (IT in a Junes storage and PT at either Ren's pad [bc he moved out obvi] (OR bith teams enter from seperate TVs at the Inn so SHENANS!)) Yu and the IT go through Akechi's influenced world/TV Palace, finding out about his tragic backstory and involvement with the PT, but anything that can and could reveal their true identities is blurred and staticy or missing bc Akechi aint gonna snitch out who ruined his sperm donors life (also I guess saved the world too yeah). While going through the Palace the Team starts to think that finding Goro will just be an "if it happens" sort of deal bc he's been missing for years already, what if we just leave him here bc M U R D E R E R.

Cue a sudden appearance by someone in some sort of fallen angel garb who starts whipping out a full on Metal Gear Villain monologue about how hypocritical the IT are when they find the truth about Akechi's life and disappearance - they claimed to want to live in a world where no one hides in the fig, was that all a lie? Are they going back on their word, and hiding behind a shriud of lies and falsehoods once more? "You've gone and lied and hidden the truth already, what's to say you won't continue?"

Meanwhile Akiren and the Thieves enter at the very top of the Heaven TV Set and have to climb all the way down. As they do so they start seeing little murals or epitaphs about memories and people in this girls life. They see all of these memories of a happy girl who had such a loving family - both found and by blood. As they go further and further down the ruins start to look like an actual Heaven, and the scenary becomes more bright and colorful. Eventually they might run into Crow in his Black Mask clothes and give the bastard a slug on the arm and a group hug or two, bc man he doesn't deserve to suffer anymore like this.

Now that the Phantom Thieves have been reunited (Akechi : I can't leave this world The PT : FUCK, MORE PLOT) they end up thinking up ways to get Akechi out until this weird angel priest looking dude shows up and starts babling about how they are criminals and how they've done more bad than good and blah blah blah. Everyone is just all "We're the good guys, we do the right thing even if its morally grey/ambiguous!" and oh look! Another crazed maniac wants to kill us for our "injustice" *Crow has the decency to look away and not say anything* annnnnnd Heaven is locked off. Perfect.

Now maybe the Phantom Thieves and Investigation Team run into each other somewhere in Akechi's Palace and "You have Personas?!?!" "The hell is a Palace?" "YOU'RE THE CRYPTID OF INABA!!?!?" "And Im the 'Ghost' that follows him." "Wait you followed me as a ghost?" "WAIT WHY ARE THERE TWO AKECHIS??!??!!"

Oh yeah, Shadows... Akechi is still kinda in denial about the whole friends and justice thing...

And now the Dark Priest is back great ("Good name Skull" "Well I've got my moments right?").

Annnnnnnd now I have no idea what happens next and Im all burned out but AAAAAAAAA this entire AU crossover thing is so GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!

firstly and the whole reason i decided to answer this ask, bc i LOVE talking about this, let’s talk about if robert truly chose aaron that first time around:

It bugged me that Robert said "i chose you" when we well know that he didnt make that choice since he was forced out of his marriage with chrissie. He didnt make a choice he just couldnt have chrissie anymore.

SO

ok, i don’t know how recently you’ve watched or rewatched the era from the lodge and chrissie/robert break up until... let’s say aaron’s reveal, because aaron’s reveal was when robert said ‘i love you’ to aaron again and really put robert and aaron back in one another’s orbits on the lead up to their eventual reunion, so

we really want to look at the period before robert did that - from the moment he lost chrissie, to him actively sort of... i guess announcing to the audience that robron was still gonna be a thing? is the best way to describe the purpose of robert saying ‘i love you’

this also high key benefits me, because that’s exactly where i’ve written up to in my break up posts (see part six and part seven)

this is convenient, because i spend those two parts talking about robert’s whole journey from being like I WANT TO BE WITH CHRISSIE AND HER MONEY to eventually being like UH CHRISSIE WHO

my theory is that after he got shot, he had a coma dream where it was just all-aaron all-the-time and he woke up like.... life is too short and i am in love with a man and his name is aaron dingle

my reasoning for this is that there is a pointed difference between how robert behaves towards both chrissie and aaron pre-coma and post-coma, even when he thinks both potentially could have tried to kill him lmao

pre-coma robert was outed against his will, first by aaron to chrissie and then by chrissie to his family (and the entire village). robert wasn’t ready to come out - he says the words “i’m straight” to vic (he also says “i’m not gay” a lot to defend himself but we have to let that slide because he wasn’t actually lying, even if he still very clearly isn’t ready to come out or talk openly about his sexuality or feelings for aaron with anyone else)

robert is clinging onto chrissie and sort of... is convinced that they can make it work, even though she’s so mad at him that she actively tries to set him on fire.

some key moments that i’m just going to straight up c/p from my break up posts to describe some things that happen, bc why rewrite something i’ve already written:

FIRSTLY, here’s two excerpts pre-coma, to show you how robert was acting just after being outed

robert’s determination that he and chrissie could get back together (in a way that literally seems desperate, with robert refusing to acknowledge the reality of the situation:

Robert pops by Home Farm, presumably to pick up his stuff, and tries to apologise to Chrissie again by ONCE AGAIN COMPARING HIS MONTHS-LONG, EMOTIONALLY INTIMATE, PASSIONATE AFFAIR WITH AARON TO THAT ONE TIME CHRISSIE AND CAIN TOUCHED LIPS FOR 10 SECONDS AND LIKE

HE’S GOT SOME FUCKIN NERVE, DOESN’T HE

I love one (1) dickhead.

Chrissie also thinks this is insane and Rob’s response to that is YOU STILL BETRAYED ME AND THAT HURT BUT I STILL FORGAVE YOU. BECAUSE I LOVE YOU. Fuckin Rob.

Chrissie asks him to gtfo but Robert unsurprisingly selective hears his way around that  - instead he goes through his box of stuff that Chrissie has packed and realises that she’s including a bottle of probably very expensive whiskey that Robert gave her, promising that they would drink it on their tenth wedding anniversary. Robert is like THAT’S STILL POSSIBLE!!!! And Chrissie is like LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO SON and pours that shit down the sink.

She asks Robert if he loves Aaron, or if he ever loved Aaron and Robert, poor Robert who is still so fucking desperate to be in the closet that I can’t even hate him through any of this and I half wanna give him a little cuddle, Robert lies and says no. Chrissie says that she probably could have forgiven Robert if he’d cheated on her for love (spoiler alert: she couldn’t) but that she can’t believe he would throw them away for “nothing”. She asks Robert if there were other men and Rob’s face says that there were plenty of other men (and other women, what a lil horn dog) and she tells him to get out.

vic trying to speak with robert about his sexuality:

Vic ignores Robert and says, very seriously, that she knows it can’t be easy, “especially for the son of a farmer” and then starts talking about how Jack would have understood and been proud of Robert and Rob can barely even look at her, because he knows how Jack reacted  when he found out and it’s haunted him since he was a teenager. The only fuckin word Rob can get out to Vic is “don’t”, because he can’t talk about this and Jack with her and it’s all just

So sad.

Vic changes tact again and simply asks Robert to be honest with himself, because she just wants him to be with someone who he actually loves.

Rob still looks kind of haunted, but snaps himself out of it so that he can talk about how much he loves Chrissie. Victoria, quite fairly, asks why, if he had all this love for her, he cheated on her AND HE SAYS THE WEAKEST FLIPPIN LITTLE “IT WAS A MISTAKE”

MMHMM

AND THEN, LIKE

SHE’S LITERALLY LIKE

“WHAT WAS SO SPECIAL ABOUT AARON? DID YOU LOVE HIM?”

AND ROBERT FUCKIN SUGDEN JUST SITS THERE AND AFTER LIKE, THE PAUSE OF THE ETERNITY, STUMBLES HIS WAY THROUGH A DENIAL - WELL, ACTUALLY HE SAYS “NO - WHAT DOES IT MATTER ANYWAY? IT’S OVER” SO IT’S FUCKIN BARELY A DENIAL

OL’ VICTORIA DOESN’T GIVE UP THOUGH. SHE SAYS AGAIN THAT HE MUST HAVE BEEN REALLY IMPORTANT TO HIM, SO ROBERT SNAPS AND TELLS HER TO STOP IT. SHE FIGHTS BACK AND SAYS IT’S A SIMPLE QUESTION - “DID YOU LOVE HIM?”

AND ROBERT SAYS “NO, SHUT UP” IN A WAY THAT IS LITERALLY SO UNCONVINCING THAT VICTORIA JUST SITS THERE AND SAYS

“You did, didn’t you?”

He walks out of the room and doesn’t answer her.

And then he decides to move out of the village.

from the above, we can pretty easily glean that at the very least, robert is not comfortable about being out. he’s sort of... desperately scrambling around to not acknowledge what exactly is happening and part of that is him being determined to get back with chrissie in a way that literally involves him having to ignore reality. i think it’s difficult to separate his need to get back with chrissie to his desire to go back into the closet, honestly

but, if we’re saying that robert still wants to be with chrissie at this point, there’s also enough evidence to support this, given that that’s all he spends this entire time trying to do (or at the very least, he spends a lot of time trying to get his hands on her money/embed himself back into the home farm business)

SO THEN ROB GETS SHOT

HE GOES INTO A COMA, AARON FONDLES HIS LIFE SUPPORT AND TELLS HIM TO “HURRY UP AND DIE” AND THEN (unrelated) GETS ARRESTED FOR ROBERT’S ATTEMPTED MURDER, ROBERT WAKES UP AND LEARNS THIS AND SPENDS WEEKS BEING LIKE but how could someone who loves me do something like that AND LOOKING DEVASTATED

and ok firstly, bringing things back round to your question of where robert’s head was at in the aaron vs chrissie war inside of him, i would like to posit the idea that

robert spent a lot of time like.... genuinely upset about aaron potentially having killed him and feeling sad

whereas he was fully ready to believe chrissie would

and honestly between the two of them i’d also probably pin chrissie as more likely to shoot a cheating bitch, but honestly... honestly, i’d just like to remind everyone that if you rewatch, there’s a real difference in robert’s attitude to the possibility that aaron did it and the possibility that chrissie did it (mostly he’s just scared of chrissie lmaoooo)

SO, back to the recap of the story, THEN IN A CONFLUENCE OF ANDY-FEELS-GUILTY-ABOUT-AARON EVENTS, ROB ACCIDENTALLY FINDS OUT THAT ANDY WAS BEHIND THE SHOOTING AND GETS ANDY TO CONFIRM THAT AARON IS IN FACT INNOCENT

lets all rewatch chicken 2.0 guys it’s a masterpiece

a cheeky except from chicken 2.0 wherein i argue that aaron is a fundamental part of this set of events:

Rob once again tries to explain that it was an accident but gives up halfway through, because Andy’s clearly never gonna hear it and then he’s all like “YOU WANNA BELIEVE I KILLED HER? FINE! I KILLED THE BITCH. SO YOU TRIED TO KILL ME. NO, ACTUALLY, YOU GOT SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT AND THEN YOU LET AARON TAKE THE BLAME”

Aaron taking the blame is a fundamental part of how pissed off Robert is, I need you all to understand this. If anyone else had been in prison, Rob probs wouldn’t have been careening down to the police station to sell Andy to the police quite so fast, let’s all be real here. Like, maybe eventually, but it wouldn’t have been the first thing Robert felt the need to do. Rob’s list of priorities on this day are, in no particular order:

...At the hospital, Vic is demanding answers but neither brother offers up the truth. Once they’re alone, Robert immediately asks Andy what they’re going to do about Aaron, because he can’t go down for something he didn’t do. Andy says he knows and he’ll sort it and then reiterates that he still sort of wants to kill Robert. Robert says that he tried to leave Andy but couldn’t, because no matter what either of them do, they’re brothers. Robert says that Emmerdale is where his family is and he can’t leave.

...Robert leaves and, apparently not content with Andy’s commitment to help Aaron ~~~at some point one day~~~, immediately calls DS Hart and gives a false description of his shooter that clears Aaron’s name.The village reacts and everyone keeps saying the words “Robert got Aaron off” and I laugh every damn time.

THIS IS SO GRATUITOUS BUT I’M HAVING FUN AND ISN’T THAT TRULY WHAT MATTERS HERE

Aaron gets home a few days later and returns as Rob is having a drink in the pub. They make eyes at one another and Aaron texts Robert to meet him outside - apparently to yell at Robert and accuse him of keeping him locked up just to mess with Aaron’s head.

AND IT’S FASCINATING BECAUSE ROB IS ALL SOFT WITH AARON AND WANTS TO MAKE SURE HE’S OK AND AARON IS LIKE “HAHAHAHA I HATE YOU XOXOXO” AND STORMS OFF AND LIKE

THIS IS THE START OF ONE OF MY FAVOURITE UNDERRATED ROBRON PERIODS: THE PERIOD WHERE AARON HATES ROBERT’S GUTS AND ROBERT IS OPENLY HEAD OVER FUCKING HEELS IN LOVE WITH AARON AND KEEPS MANUFACTURING EXCUSES TO SPEND TIME WITH HIM.

IT’S AMAZING.

this is, i must stress, an underrated period in the robron journey and totally slept on, as evidenced by people still believing that robert didn’t actively make a choice to be with aaron this time around, all the way back at the end of 2017/beginning of 2016 and then forever and ever beyond that

and i’m here today to defend this beautiful period with everything i have within me

but also to talk about why robert absolutely and actively chose aaron

n o w, fortunately for me and my argument here, and you might not remember, but the show did this really pointed thing around this time of bringing chrissie back into robert’s life in a way that was kind of really wonderful

so, two things happen

firstly, chrissie’s trial for accidentally killing three people with a helicopter takes place at this time. robert, as a key witness (i.e. the person she was actually trying to kill), gets on the stand and actually vouches for chrissie, largely bc he actually understands that he kind of ruined her entire fuckin life and destroyed their marriage by banging the local mechanic

and then

there’s this little story where chrissie finds out that diane has been diagnosed with cancer and offers to help her pick out some wigs. chrissie’s mum also had cancer and so chrissie is doing this for herself and diane’s benefit, not robert’s - however diane is all very *eyebrow wiggles* so do u wanna get back with my son *eyebrow wiggles*

diane also brings this up with robert and is like hmmm i’m pretty sure there’s hope for you and chrissie yet

this all happens, by the way, at pretty much the same time as aaron is falling apart because gordon is back

now, i need to stress that at this point, chrissie is being a lot more civil with robert than aaron is - aaron is being sort of the opposite of civil. robert has also spent an entire month trying to worm his way back into aaron’s life. chrissie and robert actually genuinely have some nice, if awkward scenes. in contrast every scene aaron has with robert involves aaron insulting robert lmaoooo.

like, if we’re going by who is more receptive to robert’s presence at this time, it’s legit 1000% chrissie. like, she’s not into it, don’t get me wrong - she’s so over robert - but she’s not actively threatening him so??? still an improvement????

except robert is just out there, obsessing over a grumpy scrapper. literally everything he does in this period revolves around aaron. he has laser focus on aaron. which, as we know, legit does not change as they get closer again. robert literally entertains the idea of buying part of the woolpack, purely to engineer some time alone with aaron

(every single person immediately sees through this plan but robert, shiny post-coma robert, is literally shameless and doesn’t care lmao)

he’s just like oh aaron... wouldn’t it be cozy....

SO BACK TO THE ROB/CHRISSIE THING, BECAUSE THE SHOW LEGIT 

LEGIT HAS A SCENE WHERE IT SHOWS US EXACTLY WHERE ROB’S HEAD IS AT

chrissie and kerry are sitting in the woolie chatting and chrissie says shit about how sometimes u just need to move on when u know a person isn’t meant for you

vic and robert are sitting behind her. vic is like, clearly with no shame about the fact that she was just eavesdropping, “did you just hear that?”

rob is like “yeah why should i care?”, looking genuinely unbothered 

vic calls him out and is like “since when have you not been bothered about chrissie”

AND ROBERT

ROBERT GOES

“I’VE GOT MORE IMPORTANT THINGS ON MY MIND.”

AND VIC IS LIKE “....Like?”

rob goes “LIKE BUYING THIS PLACE!!! YOU HAVE TO HELP CONVINCE DIANE TO SELL IT TO ME”

and vic is all “WELL WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU WANT IT???” and then she realises that the only reason why rob would want to go into business with chas is because he loves aaron and he’d “put up with anything for him”

so anyway, i could have literally answered ur question by just transcribing this scene, but this was more fun wasn’t it

ANYWAY, with this little scene, we literally see it spelled out for us, nice and clear - robert is interested in getting back with only one ex at this time

a little later, vic mentions to robert that aaron seems to be struggling with gordon being around (which he very much is, plus dealing with the horribly timed discovery that paddy has been cheating on rhona but trying to adopt a child, which really triggers a lot of feelings in aaron, given paddy is his actual father figure) (it’s so rough rip) and robert low key just sort of stalks aaron to try and work out what’s wrong. which is how robert ends up being the one to be there when aaron collapses (and sets the whole ball in motion for aaron to accidentally and then deliberately tell robert about gordon)

this whole sequence of events starts around 14 january 2016, if u wanna go rewatch. it’s amazing.

so anyway.

robert actively chose to be with aaron and wouldn’t have gotten back with chrissie even if she’d been interested. he knew, by that point, and had entirely accepted exactly where his heart really was.

Just Let Me Explain

Throwback to season 6 when JJ had to declare that Emily was dead except in my version, it’s going to be the reader declaring Emily dead. I know that I am in no way original with this concept so I’m going to make it original and say that the reader and Spencer are already in a relationship when this happens. This entire thing is going to range from the moment of declaration to the case in Oklahoma when Reid is being the passive aggressive bean that he is. 

I didn’t realize how long this was, sorry. It legit took my two hours and once I started typing, I just lost all track of time. Also don’t get mad at me for this thing bc it’s highkey just ajdfrenfhncghalf if you get what I mean. It’s two in the morning soooooo. I think Hotch is slightly OOC in this but he’s barely mentioned so it cancels out :3

You knew this was wrong. 

Right away when Hotch came to you with the orders, you knew that this wasn’t going to end well. But when you and Spencer had first got together 8 months ago, you both swore that your relationship wouldn’t get in the way of work and Hotch was using that to make sure you did exactly as you were ordered. So of course, being the perfect agent that you are, you put on your sad look and let your eyes well up with tears as you entered the waiting room where your team, including your boyfriend, sat. They all rose at the sight of you and Spencer immediately knew that something was wrong, “Y/N?” His voice was quiet as he waited for you to deliver the news. 

You cleared your throat a little as you glanced at him and then at the rest of the team, “She never made it off the table.” You couldn’t give yourself away and you knew that. So you never kept your eyes in one place for too long, you observed and felt guilt at seeing how everyone believed you. It broke your heart to see the tears and reaction of your team- your family. But a job was a job and you knew that. 

When Spencer made a move for the door, you instinctively grabbed him arm with a gentle touch, “Spence...” You couldn’t say more.. You knew that your voice would betray you if you did. Your heart nearly shattered upon hearing his next words.

“I never got a chance to say goodbye.”

You let out a quiet breath and pulled the man you love close to you. It was a way to comfort him over the ‘loss’ of a friend and a way to assuage your growing guilt. You didn’t sign up to see your boyfriend break down... That wasn’t part of the job description. 

When the two of you arrived to the apartment you both share, you had an arm around his waist as a sign of support and when you let go to close the apartment door behind you, Spencer left your grasp and moved to the bathroom, locking the door behind him. A small sigh escaped your lips as you followed behind him. Seeing him like this was pure torture and as of now, you’d do anything to make him feel better. 

A Few Weeks Later: 

“I just.. If we’d been quicker to find her, she’d probably still be alive right now.” 

You angle your head so that you’re looking at Spencer. It’d been a few weeks since the lie had been told and the guilt had yet to go away. Spencer still had so much regret in his heart and was coming up with all of these situations in which she would’ve survived. They usually always came up when the two of you were in bed. Tonight was no different and seeing him like this made you want to tell him everything, but you made Hotch a promise and telling him could compromise Emily’s situation. You lean onto your side, propping yourself up on one elbow while using your free hand to cup his cheek, “Don’t do that to yourself, Spencer.. What happened happened and no what if situation can bring her back.. No matter how much we want it.” You remained as quiet as you could, your voice not going above a quiet tone. You tried being comforting but all you could hear was your guilt and that gave you a feeling that had you sick to your stomach. 

“I miss her so much, Y/N. Every time we go into the office and pass by her portrait I-” He cuts himself off, his voice breaking at the end as he begins crying once more. 

You lay down again, bringing him to your chest as you hug him tightly. You were crying too because seeing him like his tore you apart piece by piece. “I miss her too, Spence.” You tried comforting him the best you could, whispering quiet nothings into his ear, rubbing his back gently, letting him soak your nightshirt with his tears. Eventually, he fell asleep but you were there wide awake, wondering what you’d gotten yourself into and how this was going to change everything once the truth came out. 

Everyday when the two of you entered the  BAU building, you’d both stop in front of her portrait and have a quiet moment. You could feel the judgement coming from Emily’s eyes as you watched her unmoving face. Time would pass and you’d take Spencer’s hand, leading him to the Bullpen before pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek and going to your own desk. You’d offer small smiles to your team members and when case debriefing would happen, you’d be sure to sit by Spencer and hold his hand under the table. The guilt had slowly began going away. The special trick was repeating a phrase like a mantra until you believed it, Emily is dead and whatever you’re doing is for the sake of the team. They’ll understand if the truth ever comes out. Oh, if only you were right. 

The Reveal:

You were walking down the hallway when Hotch approached you. His beard was still a look you were getting used to and you offered a small smile to him as he approached you. 10 weeks and your guilt had transformed into a dull throb that you’d gotten used to over time. The circumstances had made the pain more stabbing but nonetheless, you were toughing through it one step at a time. Your small smile dropped, of course, when Hotch told you it was time. 

Time for the reveal. Time for the team to find out they’d been lied to.  Time for them to find out that you lied to them. 

When you stood by Hotch’s side with your hand clasped behind your back, you kept your eyes trained straight ahead. Never once did you look at any single member of your team. You could feel Spencer’s eyes on you when Hotch was talking and you could practically hear the hurt and betrayal come out of him when the truth was revealed. But of course, that guilt was forgotten when Emily was seen standing at the doorway.

When the hugs and reunion were done, you grabbed Spencer’s hand, holding him in his spot before whispering, “Let me explain, Spence..” He pulled away at your words, going to the seat in between of JJ and Derek. You gulped a little, swallowing your tears as you sat at the opposite side of the table, glancing at him on occasion with the hope that he’d look at you.

It didn’t work. 

The two of you worked the rest of the case involving Declan and Doyle like you did any other, but it wasn’t the same because Spencer only interacted with you when absolutely necessary. 

It hurt.  It hurt a lot. But you pushed through it for the sake of the child whose life was in danger. 

Sadly, like when all cases end, the two of you went home. Spencer had left the building only moments before you, but by the time you reached the parking garage, he’d driven right past you without even glancing at you. Thankfully, you were able to get a ride with Emily who dropped you off home. When you entered the apartment, the lights were out and you slowly made your way to your’s and Spencer’s bedroom. He wasn’t there. Quickly, you pulled out your phone and texted JJ to ask if she had any knowledge of his whereabouts. 

Y/N: Is he with you?

JJ: Yeah, he’s here. He brought his go-bag and it’s packed for quite a bit of time. 

The text caused tears to well up in your eyes and you quickly typed out a response,

Y/N: Take care of him, please.. 

JJ: I’ve got him, don’t worry. 

You accepted what you had and proceeded to prepare for bed. It was hard to get to sleep, but cuddling with one of Spencer’s pillows gave you the comfort you needed and helped you get a couple of hours. 

The Oklahoma Case:

Working with Spencer the past couple of days has been hell. 

You take the bus to work and you always try to initiate some sort of conversation with him. But he ignores you and simply brushes past you to get to his desk. When Garcia was doing the briefing of the latest case, you took the seat by him and he simply moved from his current seat to a different, open one. You let your head hang in shame for a few minutes, calming down before looking up at Garcia expectantly. 

On the jet, you sat by Emily who was obviously trying to make you feel better. She felt some guilt to because the problems that were occurring were partially because of her. You made her promise not to blame herself and when Hotch paired you and Spencer to go to the abduction site, you wanted to melt into your seat. 

The tension between you two was so thick at the abduction site that it could’ve been cut through with a knife. Any suggestion you had was immediately met by a passive aggressive comment from Spencer. 

Spencer started off as the two of you approached the bus stop, “So, Beth got off the bus here and headed northwest toward class.” He let his hands do part of the talking as he pointed towards the bus stop and then towards northwest. 

Attempting to be useful, you pitched in, “It’s amazing that no one saw her abduction.”

Reid simply shrugged and spoke with a high level of bitterness in his tone, “Emily was buried six feet under and wound up in Paris, so I guess anything is possible, right?” You stiffened slightly, “Spencer you’ve got to let me ex-”

He cut you off as you tried defending yourself, “You know, maybe our UnSub's a little bit like Bundy and he feigned an injury in order to get her to help him.”

You began speaking again but before one syllable had escaped you lips, Spencer cut you off again, “Maybe he tried another tactic. and was like, ‘Wow, you're really pretty. You should be a model. I can take your photo.’”

You didn’t say anything after that. You simply let him talk out his ideas while watching him with a look of both attentiveness and guilt. 

At the station, you finally sucked it up and tried explaining yourself in the office, “Spencer I had to do my job.” You could hear your voice breaking as you began and Spencer was quick to shoot you down.

“Yeah and you did a great job at that. Was it easy? Hm, Y/N? Was it easy for you to lie to me every second that we were together? I cried into your chest for 10 weeks! 10 weeks and you gave me all of that comfort.. Was that a lie too?”

Your eyes widen at that accusation and you’re quick to shake your head, “What?! Of course not, Spence! I love you and every moment I was lying to you was nothing but torture to me! Most of my tears were over what this was doing to you, not that Emily had left us!” 

You’d grabbed his arms while you spoke, desperate for him to understand you.. But he was quick to pull away, “How can I know that that wasn’t a lie, hm? It’s all you’ve done for the past 10 weeks. What if I started taking dilaudid again, hm?”

At the mention of the drug that’d nearly ruined Spencer’s life, you stiffened before proceeding to speak with a hesitant tone, “But you didn’t... Right?”

He scoffed a little, shaking his head as he backed out of the room, “No.. But I thought about it.” He walked out before you could apologize and you felt the waterworks coming through. 

After the Case:

Thankfully, you didn’t cry when Spencer had left the room. You simply put on a strong face and worked the case like you did any other. You could hear Hotch trying to stand up for you to fix whatever’d happened, but you knew it wasn’t going to work. You thought the same thing when Emily approached Spencer on the plane. Spencer’s back was to you and you were sitting on the opposite end of the plane so you couldn’t figure out what he was saying. Eventually, you gave up at figuring anything out and turned back to your lengthy book, letting your eyes move over each word one by one... You weren’t comprehending anything but the fact that you were doing something helped calm you down. 

At Rossi’s house, you didn’t expect him to show up. You were only there for the wine, if you were being completely honest. Truthfully, you’d given up hope that Spencer would forgive you. The thought of him being mad at you made your heart throb so you simply focused all of your energy on watching Rossi as he cooked. When the doorbell rung, you felt your heart drop into your chest. Emily greeted Reid as did the rest of the team but you kept your back to him. Rossi was about to continue when Spencer interrupted once again, “Actually, before you resume, I was wondering if I could talk to Y/N? Alone?” 

You felt eyes on you and you simply set down your wine glass. He was going to break up with you officially, you knew it. You offered Prentiss a weak smile as you turned to Spencer, “Lead the way, Spencer..” You followed behind him as he took you a couple of hallways down. You braced yourself for what was to come next, keeping your gaze on your feet. To say that you were shocked when Spencer lifted your face by the chin would be an understatement. 

“I’m so sorry, Y/N.. I was mad and I didn’t mean half of the things that I was saying,” Spencer’s voice is filled with regret as he speaks, his eyes searching yours for any form of negative reaction. Your reaction was simply priceless as you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him down for a tight hug. 

“I deserved, it Spencer. I should be the one apologizing to you..” He simply returned your hug tightly, pressing a few gentle kisses to the top of your head as he did. 

“I love you, Y/N Y/L/N” Was all he mumbled quietly to you and you smiled brightly, whispering the same thing back. 

Of course it was Rossi that had to kill your moment, “Are you two lovebirds done there or do we have to continue this without you?”

redid my warriors au, long post

i’ve made a few posts about this au before but i’ve changed things

series 1

events of into the wild are basically the same,(i.e. firepaw joining clan etc) however sandpaw and dustpaw are the main characters

after ravenpaw’s departure, firepaw, dustpaw, and sandpaw realise tigerclaw is a threat, put aside their differences and eventually the three become best friends™

graystripe is a little bit older than them (about the same age as longtail) and was trained/manipulated by tigerclaw

the three get their warrior names and are happily doing warrior things until about 12 moons later

tigerclaw murders bluestar; he becomes leader of thunderclan and isn’t sure whether to pick darkstripe or graystripe as deputy, he encourages the two toms to fight and prove themselves

graystripe wins, tigerstar disposes of darkstripe

sandstorm + friends talk to whitestorm about their suspicions, he believes them and encourages them to tell the rest of the clan (-tigerstar and his friends)

the clan, after some convincing believe tigerstar is a bad dude and try to think of a plan to get rid of him

they have to be careful as tigerstar has a group of cats that are like bodyguards to him - former rogues that dont take warrior names or participate in clan duties (that turn out to be bloodclan spies)

but wait! there’s more! tigerbutt takes over riverclan after crookedstar’s death, the thunderclan cats wonder if they should tell leopardfur about tigerstar’s evilness - will she believe and side with them?

spoiler: she does and immediately tries to break their alliance, but seeming she wasn’t able to get her nine lives or name she is no more powerful than any other warrior and tigerstar threatens to murder her clanmates so she backs down

fireheart’s personality is a bit different to canon - he’s more easygoing and chilled (think of a mix between canon firestar, graystripe, and brackenfur)

silverstream and graystipe have a one night stand type thing causing her to fall pregnant

silverstream doesnt want anything more to do with him and doesnt want the kits to know he’s the father

some of her clanmates turn on her (even though both clans are all living together its very crowded) so she ends up making friends with the thunderclan cats

specifically sandstorm

they become very good friends

yep...just gals....being pals...

the main character squad (sandstorm, dustpelt, fireheart, and now silverstream and cinderpelt) realise they need tigerstar to trust them or they might just end up ‘accidentally’ murdered

he hates fireheart because he was a kittypet, thinks dustpelt is too short tempered...so then there’s sand™

sandstorm fools tigerstar and graystripe into thinking she’s on their side, and reports back their plans to the other cats

tigerstar exiles goldenflower because she doesn’t want to be his mate anymore and refuses his advances - tawnypaw goes with her and they flee to shadowclan where goldenflower later dies of carrionplace disease

graystripe is killed in a battle against shadowclan and windclan, and sandstorm is named deputy as tigerstar thinks he can trust her (surprise! sandstorm was surprised..)

silverstream survives her kitting

ferncloud is closer in age to dustpelt and they arent related

fast forward another 6 moons, the stress of having to suck up to tigerstar yet prove she is still loyal to the other cats is getting to sandstorm

some of the riverclan cats are accusing her of really being on tigerstar’s side

knock knock get the door its bloodclan

one night, tigerstar tries to use bloodclan to take over shadow and windclan

scourge murders him - sandstorm reveals the truth about tigerstar to everyone

riverclan finally go back to their territory and leopardstar gets her nine lives that night

sandstorm is unsure if she’s fit to be leader - she’s struggling as she feels she hasnt been a warrior long enough and her deputyship was a result of deceiving tigerstar

silverstream makes the difficult decision decides to stay in thunderclan as her ‘friendship’ with sandstorm would make it hard for her to stay loyal to riverclan, her kits, featherpaw and stormpaw go to riverclan and are raised there

the night after tigerstar’s death, sandstorm gets her nine lives from starclan (goldenflower - protection, brindleface - love, crookedstar - determination, snowkit - hope, thistleclaw - fierceness spottedleaf - wise judgement, bluestar - faith, lionheart - courage, redtail - loyalty)

whitestorm is appointed deputy

the four clans join together to fight bloodclan, they win, but not without a cost - whitestorm dies, sandstar loses a life

sandstar struggles to choose between fireheart and dustpelt for deputy, the two toms are her closest friends and best warriors

she eventually chooses dustpelt - fireheart doesn’t mind and continues to support them

a moon after the battle, sandstar tells silverstream she loves her

silverstream loves her back

gays

sandstar and fireheart are still super close best friends, but theres nothing romantic between them though he fathers her kits, squirrelkit and leafkit as they both wanted to be parents

squirrelflight and leafpool are raised by sandstar, fireheart, and silverstream and the whole clan loves them

basically sandstar, fireheart, silverstream, dustpelt, and cinderpelt are best friends for life and all of them are gay in one way or another

new prophecy:

as a leader, sandstar is a little less hesitant to cross borders to help other clans like firestar would, but is still willing to provide assistance when others are in need

she is more sure of herself and more confident in her decisions compared to the first series

leafpool is openly bi

feathertail and crowfeather have more of a sibling relationship

fireheart is captured by twolegs

sandstar and dustpelt usually rely on fireheart to help them with leader/deputy duties

so dustpelt begins to assign more duties to brambleclaw, given his experience with the sun-drown-place journey

hawkfrost traps sandstar in the fox trap and encourages brambleclaw to kill her, stating that if she dies dustpelt will surely choose him for deputy, and he can get rid of him too

he doesn’t because he is a good dude

cinderpelt dies and cinderkit is born but cinderkit is herself and not a reincarnation

power of three

fireheart returns! with millie 

bumblekit is blind in one eye due to an infected thorn scratch - it doesnt stop him though - he is apprenticed to brightheart

rowanclaw is a trans dude - his and tawnypelt’s kits are fathered by an unknown tom

sandstar and silverstream are close with their grandkits

lionblaze and jayfeather are the kits of brambleclaw and squirrelflight, hollyleaf and breezepelt are leafpool and crowfeather’s

leafpool has her kits (she could hide it due to having strong scented herbs around her and shes fat and fluffy) but is weakened and feels squirrelflight is kitting (remember that bond they had)

crowfeather shows up and takes breezekit to windclan as leafpool cant carry both of them - nightcloud has also kitted an identical kit but its born dead so crowfeather kinda just swaps them (nightcloud agrees to this bc she wanted to be a mother)

leafpool gives hollykit to squirrelflight to raise

sandstar suspects hollyleaf is leafpool’s kit due to her resemblance to crowfeather and the fact that she guessed leafpool’s pregnancy anyway

the fire scene: jayfeather is trapped, hollyleaf helps him out but becomes stuck herself, assfur shows up and says he’ll kill her to cause squirrelflight pain

leading to squirrelflight’s ‘she is not my kit’

lion holly jay assume she lied to get assfur away, lionblaze asks squirrelflight privately if shes his mother, she says yes which is true  

as in she said yes she is lionblaze’s mother, says nothing about hollyleaf

assfur intends to reveal the secret at the gathering but shows up dead

sandstar killed him - she found him on the windclan border, he confronted her saying her daughter was a liar and he threatens her, saying he will reveal the secret to everyone - sandstar warns him, saying he shouldnt for the good of the clan

this enrages assfur, who attacks sandstar

sandstar kicks his ass and kills him, though she is overwhelmed with guilt, thinking that she let her emotions get in the way of what was right for the clan

breezepelt discovers his true parentage and reveals the secret, hollyleaf is so shocked that she runs into the tunnels and ‘dies’ 

crowfeather is rejected by his clanmates and ends up leaving windclan, becoming a rogue

lionblaze and jayfeather are understandably shocked, they still consider hollyleaf their sister anyway 

breezepelt’s revelation and disgust at his parentage boosts his status in windclan

hollyleaf returns. as crowfeather is gone, she doesnt feel much connection to her birth parents. shes still close with lion and jay but not with squirrel and leaf

shes not as mad at them though, she understands why they did what they did but she feels hurt that she was lied to for so long and wishes to get to know breezepelt better 

breezepelt doesnt want much to do with her

the series is pretty much the same except for the last hope

silverstream dies along with mousefur and ferncloud

sandstar and fireheart work together to kill tigerstar

sandstar narrowly survives, but wishes she hadnt due to her mate and sister dying - she is on her last life

she stays in her den, depressed, and doesnt bother to check in on her clanmates or issue orders for camp rebuilding

an also-heartbroken dustpelt struggles to keep the clan in order

ivypool ends up yelling at sandstar to get her shit together, saying that she may be very sad but the clan still needs her

sandstar eventually gets up and tries to bring thunderclan back to normal, though cats notice she is much less enthusiastic and more withdrawn

in between the last book and the apprentice’s quest, dustpelt gets a bad leg injury and voluntarily steps down from his deputy position

he doesn’t join the elders yet though, he just becomes a normal warrior again as he can still perform basic duties

if i had to to sum them up in three words they would be gilded, adaptable, and perceptive. i’ll briefly touch on why, you can read the bio for more details.

gilded and adaptive: covered or highlighted with gold or something of a golden or having a pleasing or showy appearance that conceals something of little worth. this is so important! adalinda is in every essence, gilded. always. they always have some sort of mask on, it would be completely out of character and rare for them to show their true colours. they will lie, device, and manipulate any and everybody. it’s another way of her being so in tune with society’s values and ideals. they’re very aware that if they act one way or another, the outcomes will be different. whatever the situation calls for, she will  ““““transform”””” their personality to gain the upperhand in the conversation. there is an art in lying, and adalinda might as well be fucking picasso or van gogh bc honestly, she’s insane.

perceptive: having or showing keenness of insight, understanding, or intuition. i choose this one because adalinda is a manipulator. that’s about as cut dry as i can put it. to them, knowledge is power and knowledge is of course not limited to street or book smarts. although she does love reading the works of machiavelli and hegel, but knowledge is grander than that. it is intuition. to know what drives things to happen in certain ways, to know what difference lies between a hand on top or on bottom of a handshake. she is very in tune with both verbal and nonverbal communication and will use these things at her leisure for advantage. if a certain topic comes u[ in conversation and the person she’s speaking with become distant in the slightest way, she’ll notice and make a note of it.

would like to introduce you to mommy and daddy issues 101, welcome please have a seat. both adalinda’s parents are deceased, rip. the relationship between all of them is extremely virulent. eloise and maximilian ( mama & papa ) abused their child from a very young age. but what is different about this ( i mean how different is it really idk ) is that adalinda does not fault her parents for this, not in anyway. they see it as a form of discipline and teaching her how to be strong, how to beat pain and fear. her father gave her the burn scars on her back and well her mother... what didn’t she do, lmao. kneeling on salt for extensive amounts of time, cold hands meeting soft cheeks, sharp words at every turn. above all this however as i said, there was love, twisted and incredbily fcked up, but love nonetheless. when their parents died adalinda mourned, but not with tears and black clothes, but with ferocity and the drive to ascend to become something greater — like her parents had taught her, and so the moth girl became the moth eater.

the relationship between her and her mother was strained bc i mean, adalinda has a thirst for power, she get’s that from her dad. but her mom was the god damn crown princess to the dutch throne, and adalinda is like u gave that up for a man !? tf when u’re supposed to inherit a country, but ur mom ceases her position in the line of succession for some dick.

ok here comes the inspo from one of my fav things, dc comics! my inspo behind the business is the one and only — lexcorp. dils enterprises is a company that specializes in developing new technologies for aerospace, medical discovery, while also having ties to resource exploration ( like renewable enegries and whatnot ). being the power hungry lil binch she is, when adalinda turned eighteen she reached out to her grandmother and uncle, in order to expand the companies ties in her mother’s homeland. though tbh, adalinda is hardly extensively involved with the companies endeavors, at least that’s what it looks like. think bruce wayne’s “fake” interested in the inner working of wayne enterprises. 

*** rl quick, please fluctuate between she/they pronouns when referring to adalinda, don’t stick to one or the other. you, the mun are aware of my muse’s gender ( agender jsyk ) , but adalinda, has not made this public knowledge, mostly because there are certain perceptions and ideas that come to mind with gender in society. this obvs does not delegitimize their gender because that’s something they prefer to keep private. tl;dr if your character speaks about adalinda with another character it would be like this. “ do you know that girl adalinda? she’s one fcked up binch!” but if u, the mun, is writing u can use she/her or they/them like “she stood at five foot eleven inches but they were still short compaired to idkurcharanamehere”. if u don’t understand feel free to mssg me!!

also, in reference to their titles, politically she goes by adalinda, otherwise in an effort to be more "approachable" — they use the name AMARIS. they NEVER use their first name, eliza.

i sort of changed up the original plan for my muse to include a brother. their relationship would be extremely toxic as they would feed off of each other’s negative characteristics and be loyal to a fault to no one but each other. i’m perfectly fine with accommodating with other muns, and it doesn’t even have to be a brother, could be a sister too, but i would love to keep the dynamic the same. but if no one ends up applying for that sort of position i can always rework my original idea back in ! if anyone's interested, here's a sample para on what / how i think they interact with one another.

explanation of how adalinda got reinstated into the royal house: their mother, elosie had an older sister named silvia. This of course would have put elosie second in succession to inherit the throne. however, during liberation day, the state had organized a festival of sorts that would have been held nationwide. the royal family was also going to make an appearance in participation but while on the way there, the family was attacked and silvia suffered a gunshot wound and would eventually succumb to the injuries later that day. following this, elosie becomes crown princess, set for coronation on her twenty first birthday. enter maximilian dils, the British entrepreneur taking the world of philanthropy and developmental sciences by storm. at the time he an elosie met he was already twenty-four and she was eighteen. the two fell in love and since Maximilian was a well known atheist, it brought a serious issue within Elosie and her parents. the royal family was protestant and to marry someone who was not only of that faith, but denounced all faiths was extremely problematic. the two wed without seeking preliminary approval thus removing elosie's ability to inherit the throne and leaving her offspring with the titles of count and countess. by the time she’s twenty-three, elosie is now living in britain and pregant with twins. Both are ecstatic and they tell elosie’s parents before revealing the news to the nation. adalinda and eriadon ( adalinda born first ) are born in the netherlands through a water birth. the years pass by up until they turn seven years old, two weeks after their birthday, their parents are murdered in cold blood. they two children find their parents after returning from school. lying on the cold marble floors are the bodies of their parents marked with gunshots both to the head and heart. to this day the motive and killer(s) are unknown. this in turn leads to fleur and janus taking the children in to live with them. fleur is severely affected at the loss of both her children at the hands of such violence and has the twins very carefully cared for. though their early life ends up being excessively cloistered, adalinda doesn’t mind it. the seclusion allowed for her mind to develop in such ways that she feels are unparalleled if she were to have continued on in public school. by seventeen she he graduated from college and convinced her grandmother to allow her a bit more freedom. adalinda takes up volunteering at churches across the nation and the people of the netherlands start to take notice of the daughter of their dead princess. public opinion on her grows in appreciation as she is seen helping out the needy instead of attending extravagant balls held in the palace. all the while, the company her father built has been waiting for her eighteenth birthday to put her as acting CEO. when the day arrives, at her very first board meeting she realizes that the majority of the members have been preparing to auction off parts of the company for profit alone. they lie to her face and tell her that the company has been dwindling and that their best would be to sell it to off shore conglomerates. but the truth is that the company appeared to be doing fantastic, up until you realized that the highest bidders were men involved with war lords and liars. as she now sits as acting CEO she empties the board of all the existing members and replaces them with new ones, while also publicly outing the former as greedy thieves and giving the company a fresh new image. the absence of my father seems to have led them to become foolish. dils enterprises stands as a union helping those that suffer from world hunger, terminal illness, global warming. those that are displaced by war with a government who refuses to help them. these men who made the mistake of assuming this company was a step on their latter to greatness are now well aware that their brash actions will leave them with nothing but their names. let this be an example of what happens when we allow society to place such an unhealthy obsession with money. the lives of innocents are priceless. no amount of money should deter those who have the capability of doing something. to stand aside and allow it to get worse means you are allowing children to grow up without their mother and fathers, and i — i, stand here to tell you, that a lot of these children are not as lucky as my brother and i were. they all deserve the chance live their lives as exactly what they are, children. they shouldn’t have to wake up to the sound of bombs, or spend a childhood in a hospital. dils enterprises is committed to helping in any way that we may, to lift the burden off whomever we can, while also working to make the world a better, safer, and cleaner place. she stated in front of crowd of cameras outside HQ in downtown London. her plan is to expand what her father built and bring on new projects like partnerships with what we view in our society, people like Elon Musk — CEO Tesla Motors and SolarCity, the UN’s program GirlUp, and UNICEF. she takes two years off away from the company leaving it in the capable hands of her brother while she goes off to  service in countries like Ethiopia, Uganda, India and Liberia. giving a speech to world leaders at the UN about the state of their world, unity, and the future of what is to come. because though adalinda is conniving, she understands that in a world of black and white, sometimes things bleed into gray, and whatever is found there should not be left to fade away. for humanity to grow, there needs to be an even playing field where education is provided to even the poorest of countries. she is just about to turn twenty when she returns back to the netherlands. her grandmother pulls her aside one afternoon, they walk about the gardens and fleur tells adalinda that parliament plans to reinstate her brother and her back into the royal house. you and read a bit more about this in a meta post i'll be posting before i go to bed! i would suggest reading it very much because it leads to the year and a half gap that lands adalinda at xaiver's school of all the places.
