Some thoughts on Pokemon Sword & Shield after June 5th Direct

Aaah, first main series Pokémon game with free camera control... I’m gonna love it and freaking spam my screencap button on switch for nice screencaps. I just know it.

The lil sneakpeak on customisation through the dynamax raid battle showcase look really nice as well, denim shorts and a reaaally cool jacket up for grabs for girls, and a beanie that looks aweful like Moon’s original hat. :3 The male custom clothes here also look darn good imo! I cannot wait to learn more of the customisation options such as hair and more, more clothes. <3 And ofc, Dynamaxing looks interesting, this will def not leave a single Pokémon out of the fun!

Anywho, I will def have Wooloo on my team (Normal types FTW), will definitely have Gossifleur join in on the fun as well. I’m already quite impressed with the early showcase of the pokedex of the region, I think I’ll be loving the whole region a lot!

So happy to see Wobbuffet and Bewear in the flesh in the wild, seeable as you explore the Wild Area, that totally sold the game for me and I just knew they wouldn’t let us down on this feature. Remember guys: the game is in development, not all features are always ready to be shown/should be shown at certain points. Great choice to reveal this feature from Let’s Go coming back on today’s Direct!

Weather! Weather is confirmed to be back, at least in the Wild Area, and it’ll change daily. That’s really awesome, I never got to experience this due to not having gen 5 games, and I’m glad to see it come back. So freaking hyped for this feature!

And can I just say I am so glad Rotomdex is back in a new form as Rotom phone, I honestly quite liked it in Alola games (thou in Ultra it was a tad bit too speaky), and I am so happy to see it back!

The new characters introduced showcase such awesome design, and I’m so happy about our granny Professor! Sonia looks really great and intriquing, Hop is gonna be my new best friend (lol), and Leon looks hella amazing. And Milo? Looks like a strong but kinda Gym leader, I hope he’ll have an interesting personality!

What else could I say at this point except, I’m hyped as hell and cannot wait til November 15th to get my hands on this game! Here I come Galar!

Out of all the fics I’ve seen that included him and small t-words, his tummy is definitely a sweet spot and I’m 100% here for that

If you touch him there he’ll melt into a puddle

Has the cutest ffing giggles on the entire planet of Koppai

He gets distracted when he gets into lee moods

As one of the youngest of 15, he’s always been ganged up on by his older siblings.

Charlie finds it cute, but Brittany definitely teases him about it 24 7 365!

As a ler:

He tries so hard to be a ler, but he can’t

The only beings he’s ever tickled were Pikmin during his time on PNF-404 and his little brother

He tried to wreck Brittany once, he didn’t survive.

That’s all there is about the ler headcanons because Alph has always been a lee in my heart.
