I'm excited to see posts about your reboot of your bachelor gp! I was wondering if I could hear about your Hadley Family, they seem cool from the posts I have seen ajsjfjf

awwh, hi there jingles! 💛✨ it's so good to hear from you again! i missed you a lot during my hiatus okay, i love seein' your name back in my notifs! thank you for givin' me an excuse to talk about the hadleys: they helped me fall back in love w the sims and i adore them!

the hadleys, plus tia + her family, are thirteen strong and four generations deep! it began when i was limited to playing on my mac with minimal cc, and thus, steven hadley was born. i wanted to start from uni and see where the game would lead me - the game spawned rangi as one of her dorm roomies, and from there it was history.

steven and rangi were thick as thieves. they would prank each other's toilets, autonomously buzzer each other, and kiss and canoodle just as much. when i tell you these sims showed me the delight of autonomous sim romances! even if they're little lines of code, they genuinely loved one another.

rangi kealoha (the green ghost who i forgot to take solo pics of oh god) is headcanon'd into the universe as makoa's cousin (maternal), and the two of them moved to sulani after they graduated college. they had their baby boy blue very early (before they graduated) thanks to rangi's family aspiration, and their twin daughters selene and luna followed shortly after: they took the kids to selvadorada when they all aged up (they were all abt 4 days apart in age bc i was very impatient on my mac lmao) and were married at the top of a temple!

because i'm impatient as hell, the hadleys developed a tradition of their heirs leaving home once they aged up into a teen (because i was not dealing with children and teens goin to school all at once on a tiny little macbook) and blue moved out to live with his godmother, lilith pleasant (who was hot af, steven's best friend, and just died in-game rip) in glimmerbrook.

fascinated by magic and spells since his youth (he befriended dolphins in sulani and would stay up "reading under the covers" for ages), blue was exhaustive in his search for a way to the magic realm. once he got there, he was determined to become a spellcaster: and simeon silversweater, though reluctant and certainly irritated by this plucky newcomer, hesitantly agreed to turn him into one.

and then blue developed a crush on him when he aged up and i let it play out because i'm a dirty, dirty sinner.

(the glows around them are their immortality overlays! blue worked tirelessly to craft perfect potions of immortality for himself and his lover: seeing as his dad just passed in-game, he's kinda regretting not making some for his parents dfhkld)

circe hadley was blue and simeon's firstborn: same gender couples can have genetic babies in my game with no questions, bc it's the sims. she was originally going to be the third generation's heir before i went back to blue and simeon's household and discovered tia. (her original randomized name before i retrograded it to tiamat)

circe followed hadley tradition and moved to strangerville when she aged up. i wanted to play through all the packs i hadn't bothered with in my first few playthroughs! circe met tristan (her now-husband whose last name i forget woops) when she was gathering information for the strangerville mystery - he was a military agent at the time.

(yes he was also a young adult at the time they met i'm a piece of trash)

the two of them saved strangerville together (alongside jess sigworth and erwin pries) and moved to brindleton bay to start a family. their daughter carolina (left, firstborn) and their son rango (right, secondborn) were the first great-grandbabies of the hadley legacy, and rangi was able to meet them both before he passed. 🥺

needless to say, i am very excited to explore the new family-themed pack with these guys! i loved my not-so-berry family, but playing the game fully sandboxed within the realm of the hadleys was such a fun and inspiring way to get me back to what i loved about gameplay as a kid (long before reshades and screenshots and edits), and for that i will love them so so so much.

(   florence pugh. cisfem. she/her.   )   is that jane ‘eleven’ hopper from stranger things in storybrooke ? on screen, they’re very honest + leaderly but here they seem more asocial + hesitant. the nineteen year old waitress can usually be found around hawkins lab with their letter from hopper that came with them through the storm. they cannot remember much about their life back home. scrunchie’d half up-dos, colourful vintage clothing, romcom binges throughout the weekend, a lingering feeling of something lost, quiet nights preferred to be spent on their own.

since the show hasn’t wrapped up yet, i’ll be playing eleven with aspects up until the current season ! she currently doesn’t have her memories so it won’t be that big of a deal at the moment, but... y’know * triggering content to look out for in this post is death . * there will be plotline spoilers for stranger things s3 in this post !

so basically if you’ve never seen stranger things, i’m gonna summarize el’s story?? or try to?? skjfgk. she was taken from her mother as a baby and raised in hawkins lab under experimentation because of her telekinetic abilities that were passed down to her , alongside other kids with similar powers . basically , it was Pretty Bad there but eventually she became powerful enough to kick ass and escape .

on the run from laboratory workers , she was found by mike , dustin and lucas who were looking for their missing friend will . eleven was confident that she could use her powers to help them find him , while also having a vague knowledge of what was happening in hawkins due to time spent at the lab . mike protected her by keeping her hidden , and she soon protected all of them because she grew incredibly emotionally attached . el played a strong part in finding will , but her powers overcame her in the end of an attempt to protect her friends and she vanished .

hopper found her some time later , and became a father figure to her . he housed her and made sure she recovered to full potential , but she went through an Emo Phase and ran away in attempts to find her mother . finding her only led to more questions , as her mother clearly wasn’t herself or who eleven expected her to be . during this time spent away from hopper , she also met the person she was roomed with at hawkins lab . eleven found her way back , cracked out her powers and saved the day again but it was clear she grew weaker .

death tw. damn this is getting so long so i’m gonna wrap it up here . ANOTHER case of havoc broke loose in hawkins not that much later , eleven and max were on it though . it was pretty much the same situation where the upside down was messing things up again . this time hopper was the one to close the gate between the upside down and hawkins , but he was killed or so they say in the process . during this time eleven was fighting a huge monster and it was way too much for her to handle annnnd oops she lost her powers

in storybrooke , eleven doesn’t have any memory of any of this . hawkins lab seemed to come with her and she feels an unnatural draw to the place , but nothing about it is even remotely familiar to her . she has a strong sense of loss and confusion of what her life was before this , because a part of her knows she wasn’t always here . she didn’t want to settle down and start a life here ( i.e, go to school like the other people her age seemed to be doing ) but she needed a job to sustain herself . someone gave her a chance and hired her at mels , and that’s where she spends most of her time .

elevens powers are strongly interlocked with her emotions, sometimes she loses control of them when she feels a strong sense of negative emotion and they’re most powerful when she’s in her Feels

along with telekinesis , she also has/had extrasensory projection ( remote viewing , telepathy , psychometry ) , technopathy , biokinesis .

she’s also been shown to have teleportation but doesn’t have control over that

using these powers takes a toll on her body , some more than others

eleven is pretty shy and timid . she’s not very outgoing and won’t often initiate interaction , but she’ll hangout with people who hangout with her .

she’s not very ... in touch with social cues so if she’s judging or annoyed or anything she’s ... Pretty Obvious about it

she also doesn’t really talk much due to a semi-limited vocabulary , and prefers to keep to herself because of this . she’s more open once she gets to know people

it’s hard to get close to her but once you do it’s like having a personal psychic bodyguard she’s the REAL ride or die

she’s claustrophobic and doesn’t like to feel contained

she’s an extremely quick learner and quick on her feet so , if you keep her around she’ll get to know you pretty fast and ultimately ... luv u

el’s intensely protective of her loved ones and the people she keeps close , she’s also EXTREMELY loyal . she literally sacrifices herself for people she cares about over and over again and will continue to do so so ... b gentle with her

loyalty and honesty are both extremely important to her , once somebody breaks her trust it’s probably ... the worst thing that can happen . she’ll ghost u , she’ll give u the cold shoulder and make sure it’s apparent until they make up

Your first OC ever?I feel the first ever OC I can remember having was either the Elder Scrolls characters (I have really old bio’s as the first two or three posts I ever made on this site… Because I have never changed my tumblr) or, a couple of pokemon OC’s I- Oooooooooooh, wait, I had some Pokemon OC’s when I was like… 12. Holy shit. I even wrote a small fanfic for them. (Three girls, if I remember correctly? This was like over ten years ago XD)

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?Ooooooh Nooooooooo. This is such an awful question. My ‘favourite’ is usually whichever I have the most muse for at any particular moment? And 99% of the time, they’re fan characters of which I am neither comfortable talking about nor ever using.I do love my DA:I inquisitor though, She’s called Mihra and is an elven mage.(I also still have a fond affection with my old Elder Scrolls characters, ngl)

4. A character you rarely talk about?WELL, like 99% of the fan characters I make. Because they’re highly based on me, and I’m not comfortable putting that kind of stuff out there? (Possibly due to the culture around self-inserts being inherantly ‘Bad’)

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?Oooh, I’d love it if my OC’s for the book I’ve started writing became popular. The world is based on a DnD campaign I’ve been toying with for years now XD

9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?Honestly, I would love to see someone else take on my fancharacters-turned-OC’s Jacob and Jamar. I love them, but my muse has died completely and I genuinely think they would make a really good book?

12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lotI don’t just have one, sorry. I love my sister’s (@blue-electric-angelss) set of gods. They’re called the court and I honestly love their entire aesthetic.I do also love @kys-kaleidoscope‘s Necromancer half orc. He’s such a dear. I hope beyond hope that I get to see him played in the campaign. I love him so much.

14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstoryHuh, strangely enough, I don’t think I usually go for those kinds of backstory? I more lean towards the ‘Humble beginnings’ backstory’s. I honestly can’t think of one right now.

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)Oh man, I uh… Huh.I guess Mihra does. I’ve talked a lot about her here haven’t I. XDThe story and world of DA grabbed me in a way other games don’t. But I’m also a huge sucker for open world fantasy games.

Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?Most of them change drastically from their first thoughts to where they are now, and sadly enough, I don’t write down anything to really show that off? Most of my characters are completely built inside my head, and details shift and change constantly. Certain things get set in stone and as time goes on, more and more gets set. But I don’t really keep track of the changes?

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?Is it strange to say I wouldn’t? I don’t want to? :/

The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)Ooh, like I said before, a lot of the characters that stay just in my head start off pretty self insert-y. SO literally any of them would work for this XD. (Again not comfortable talking about them though XD)

27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?Oooh, mostly I make an OC and then stick songs I feel fit them witht them. So it’s more the other way around. Like the song ‘You matter to me’ By Sara Bareilles and Jason Mraz, I 100% associate with my DA:I character Mihra. But she wasn’t inspired by it?

28. Your most dangerous OC?I’ve just realised this, but almost all of my OC’s are fighters in some way?? Mihra would be a pretty hard opponent, as would Jacob. Also a couple of my older characters…

29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?JACOB. Like, not even a contest. He would pull along Jamar, but actually telling anyone else? Nah. He’s reckless.

30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?Jacob… Again. I would not put it past him to have a collection of beanie babies.

31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really)Oooh okay.I’m choosing Mihra. She’d have a very wildlife and woodlands themed tumblr, lots of woods covered in fog. The background would be simple branch-like patterns running down the sides, beside the main bulk of text and pictures. There would probably be a lot of wiccan reblogs too, simple spells and pictures of gemstones. She might post a few of her own pictures. Mostly of pretty landscapes she’d found while out walking.

Introduce any character you wantI’m sorry, I think I’ve ran my limit on character’s I’m willing to talk about. ^^’I do have more characters, but they’re either kept under wraps or I’m just not comfortable talking about them.I guess my guy who controls one of the big cities in the campaign isn’t too under wraps.I’ve just forgotten his name... I wrote it down somewhere but I don’t quite remember where. He’s a half-elf sorcerer. He’s very charismatic. And mostly a good person, not everyone agrees as he’s in a position of political power, but hey-o.

48. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pureThe main character of my book is 100% meant to be a cinnamon roll. He’s in his late teens, has a boyfriend but it’s all fluff. He’s a very genuine person and just wants everyone to be okay.
