But his pride is too grand to show you that it makes him sad, deep, deep down - the only thing that you will reap is acid, in hopes that it might deter you from acting out again. He can fix your relationship later, he thinks. Because you're more likely to see that he was right all along with a fat-cheeked baby on your arm. Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them? I'd say that depends on you - as in, what would be worse for you? He isn't violet, but he is going to force himself on you so you can carry his eggs. He isn't going to isolate you forever, but he will definitely keep you from anyone and anything until your babies are a little older. So, what is worse? To get violated by your partner of more than a decade or to be all on your own because he thinks it's what is best for you? Which can you stomach better? That one singular traumatic event or the grueling years of isolation and solitude? Both are harrowing in their own right, though the latter might not be defined as a 'single experience'.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

Oh, Blue gets jealous pretty easily, even as his 'canon' self. As per @adelarsims' suggestion, here are the boys as merman, spellcaster, vampire, and werewolf. It was a no-brainer that Al would be the spellcaster since he IS a spellcaster (even if 97.53% of the time, I forget about it). Then, due to his massive physic, Mal was the obvious choice for a beefy werewolf. For the other two, I just chose randomly. And well, I must say that I kinda fell in love with merman!Jeb (who I gave more of a tummy once again - and boobies - as it is customary now, every time I have him in CAS)

I know that fic!!!!! However, I’ve never read it because I have no interest in supernatural creatures…I say when I like Digimon, digital supernatural creatures🤣.

EHM, a Junzumi AU, you say? Idk Anon, I came up with some in the past, such as the mermai- *cough* merman AU and the ATLA one (I still need to dive in properly!), but if you want a new one…I wonder if you would like an alternative take on Frontier.

Like, imagine if the kids had had the appearance of the spirits throughout the whole season. They never get to know the others’ appearances because Ophanimon turns them into Digimon as soon as they set foot in the Trailmon.

Now imagine Junpei, a stout kid, being the beefy, muscled, vigorous Blitzmon for the whole time being and exploiting the “benefits” of such a body at 360º. He would feel even more confident about hitting on Izumi / Fairymon. We do know how he canonically acts when he gets Blitzmon’s spirit, how he suddenly becomes so pumped up about the strength and agility being Blizmon gives him. So, yeah, he would get used to that mighty shape and probably Izumi would have less prejudices about his appearance, because, -let’s remember this even if it sucks-, our girl “would like Junpei if he was as thin as Kouji”, according to the writers. Then, the unavoidable happens and the kids have to return to the real world, so they also have to reassume their usual appearance, which means Junpei has to reveal Izumi he’s…Who he is.

I really would like to draw or write something similar agahah, even if I think I would want the kids to be teens in such an AU. It would be more interesting. In an old ask I had also said I would draw Junpei and Izumi in some sort of Ladybug and Chat Noir AU, but I think that idea mixed with this one. Or maybe I should also try going for that AU too🤣. It would be too cute for my heart, okay?
