Well hi everyone, name's Kira (@ykskira) and i'm a little artist making this silly clangen challenge.

Here some info about this blog:

This is a clangen blog just for fun and practices

I'm not very good writing in English bcs it's not my native speaking so in advance sorry about my bad grammar xp

Everything is randomly generated by the game (but sometimes I might change the names of the cats)

I wouldn't be sure how often the updates would be but you could say one moon a week

this is an au where in the last hope, instead of beetlewhisker confronting the dark forest leaders and being killed, he, his mother icewing, and fellow trainee applefur secretly agree they can't train in the place of no stars anymore. too ashamed and fearful to return to their clans or return to the dark forest in their sleep, they decide to exile themselves as a self-served punishment. meeting at the river-shadow border, they flee towards the mountains, retracing the path of the great journey. as they settle at the foot of the mountain, they become beetleclan.

i've always wanted to make a clangen blog, but i struggle with forming original characters that i can get attached to. i really like beetlewhisker though, so i thought an au would be a good way to get out of my artblock and start something fun !

Five clans, named by the Stars at Deathrocks have taken up residence in a far flung oasis after their lands are ravaged by the wars of humans.

At the reccomendation of their starry patron they have lived on the land for 100 moons, and are only just returning to solidify a Code by which they will live by.

Locustclan, Beetleclan, Aphidclan, Hornetclan and Mantisclan meet at Deathrocks for the first time in generations - and begin a new era!

Welcome to Buried In Sand! This is my clangen blog, inspired by the fact i keep deleting and restarting my clans so i decided to start a blog to keep myself entertained.

I'm just sort of figuring stuff out as I go, so expect artstyle changes and formatting experiments as I go. I dont always follow sprite designs. I go on the Vibes of the cat moreso than their canon appearance.

As of rn I am actually still working through all the clans first 100 moons - all of which is canon to each group and will affect the additions they make to the code.

Omg playing Chrysalisclan again and little Copperpaw (affair child of the monarch Butterflywing and mediator Mantis) was attacked by a kittpet called Mr. Princess and I just love him.

Chrysalisclan and Beetleclan have also gone to war which um. Isnt good.

Besides that, poor Morphochomp lost their partner Thawclaws to greencough and two of their three kit litter to yellowcough being Lunapaw and Rollypaw. Poor Cinnabarpaw the last kit of the litter has chosen the path of healing after the loss of all her family. And just a moon after the death of Thawclaws Morpho was attacked by a fox at the cemetery losing their tail to it :( theyve gone through a lot

Seems she has found some peace though because Cinna has come out as trans! She/it girlie i love it. Her and Copper are super close too which is just adorable. Mind that Copper does not know their sire isn't Aquaeyes only Mantis, Butterflywing, and Orangetiptail know. Which isnt great as Aqua and Orange have something going on

{Intro}

This is a clangen blog for Sparky and I's respective merged clangen universes!

Like @hopeclan-blog, I will be posting logs of each moon but the updates will be painstakingly slow. So please be patient ^^'

New characters and a new location! Though I have to do this on expanded mode with the actual clangen because beta wasn't working for some reason.

Same rules as my other clangen blog; just be respectful, don't rush me or Sparky, and use the inbox appropriately if/when it opens.

Newleaf Moon 1 - Patrol 1

The patrol (Hatchstar, Chervilleaf, & Gingerpaw) hears a car begging for their housefolk to come back, just barely legible over the sound of a monster speeding away.

They discover the cooling body of a kittypet; it seems they attempted to run after their Twolegs, but was run over by another monster. Hatchstar silently sends a prayer for the kittypet, and can't help but to curse the Twolegs who abandoned such a loyal cat.

With newleaf comes the opportunity to scout out AlderClan's territory, and find where mullein might be growing this year.

It's hard to identify mullein while it's small, but Lightgaze finds a plant or two and rips down their central stalks, carrying them back to camp to trim the leaves off later.

Your patrol (Greenshadow, Mossywillow, & Ratpaw) has a disagreement and look to Greenshadow to settle the dispute.

Greenshadow listens to both sides, then makes a careful judgement. It keeps no one happy, the mark of an excellent compromise.

As your patrol (Hazelprickle, Grassheart, & Parsleypaw) is checking the border lines, they notice that a BeetleClan scent has strayed into their territory.

After poking around a bit, your patrol discovers a BeetleClan apprentice wandering nearby, hopelessly lost. The apprentice is distraught upon discovering they're on the wrong side of the border and while Hazelprickle understands it was an honest mistake, she still lectures the apprentice on the importance of respecting border lines.

This is just where I wanna put all the designs I’ve been making for all the cats I currently have on Clangen! There’s a lot of them so… idk, I reckon I can just queue a few up and set it to post once a day? That seems good.

Once I get through all of the existing cats I have, I think I’ll end up doing semi-regular updates on what happens between them every few moons! Doodle pages, profiles for new cats, etc.

My main is @fantasykiri5, and I mostly make hermitcraft/life series fanart there, so pretty different from anything that’s gonna be here.

I mentioned it in the sub header but the rough format I’m gonna use for this blog is very much inspired by @/warriorsproject and @/cryptidclaw! Go check them both out!

i’m gonna try to make a backlog of sorts since the kits being born is a bit of a ‘point of no return’ for the future of the clan! it only grows and grows from here, we’ll never be down to just two cats after this! the formatting may also change from less of a webcomic-ish type of telling but that might be reserved for just some moons that don’t have a lot going on. i can’t wait!
