Bucky’s full bio is right HERE, but i’ll throw some important tidbits below! There will be TFATWS spoilers, mild but still there, like Dawn (ily Dawn) i’ll be adding as the show comes out and also adjusting things for the RP!

Everything MCU wise is canon for Bucky up until Civil War! 

After Civil War and the Accords, Bucky took to staying in Wakanda to get the trigger words HYDRA put into his head taken out. Cue Jean, @jeaniegreysummers​, entering stage left! With the ties the X-Men have to Wakanda Jean was the one to come and take the trigger words out of his head. Fuck u Zemo no more trigger words for YOU!

T’Challa had him a new arm made, brand spankin’ new and much prettier than the last one! 

Bucky stayed in Wakanda, laying low and trying to work on remembering everything that’s occurred in the last 70 some odd years. It wasn’t until he got word of the ratifications of the Accords that he finally deemed it right to head home to Brooklyn.

SPOILERS FOR TFATWS:

Bucky upon arrival back to the US was given a presidential pardon. There were stipulations with said pardon that he had court mandated therapy and had to register with the Avengers upon his return. 

Bucky has a small book of a list of names of people he wronged as the Winter Soldier. He’s doing his best to make those amends, trying to do so by the means that his therapist set forward for him, but well. That doesn’t exactly always go to plan. 

To the government at least, Bucky is unemployed! But alongside Steve, @libertycaps​, he does freelance security work and ya know does sneaky sneaky missions here and there.

If your character has ties to Wakanda then you could have easily met him on a visit there. He was laying low, but you can’t take the fight out the dumbass from Brooklyn.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s CLARK KENT / SUPERMAN, a HERO from DC! HE is 46 years old and looks an awful lot like JOSH DUHAMEL. I hear they are employed as a REPORTER FOR THE DAILY PLANET. Rumor has it they are UNAFFILIATED. I wonder what they’ll find with their new beginning!

          An intro??? I know, who am I? Just putting some stuff out there as baseline, timelines and events are decently flexible because this man’s had a lot of comics and I doubt I’ll be able to include everything between Post-Crisis and Rebirth.

Kal-El, son of Jor-El and Lara-El was sent from his birth planet Krypton moments before the planet became unstable and collapsed. His rocket crash-landed in a field in Smallvile, Kansas on Earth where John and Martha Kent reside to this day. 

Naming him Clark, the two raised him as one of their own, being patient as a couple of parents could be with a boy that could suddenly lift the massive hay bales without breaking a sweat. He wasn’t more than 14 before he learned about his true origins.

Clark started “saving” people a few years before that. Martha made him his first “costume” when he was told about his origins and decided to put his powers to use for good, modeling the logo on his chest after the House of El insignia on the ship they had stored in a crumbling shed.

Clark learned to balance his real life and his hero life early on, graduating from Smallville’s high school and moving to New York soon after to see what Big City life was like. Between classes at NYU, he frequently soared through the City in search of anyone in need. 

During his internships and eventual hiring at the Daily Planet, Clark met Lois Lane, the subject of many early Damsel in Distress situations he would swoop in for. The two grew close and eventually married, having their son Jonathan soon after. 

He’s still living in New York City with Lois under his Secret Identity. When he’s not editing her pages (though, she rarely needs one in his humble opinion), he’s flying around the world, doing what he can to protect and serve those in need. Almost everyone’s heard of Superman, Clark only hopes they think well on his heroic alias.

INTRO BELOW THE CUT!

As most of you know, I was in the rp before but had to take a break thanks to some personal issues, so I’m going to give a brief rundown of Bruce’s history/life and then include what he was up to during his (my) break! With that in mind, TW: CHILD ABUSE, HOMELESSNESS, VIOLENCE, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, MENTAL ILLNESS

HISTORY

Bruce doesn’t often enjoy thinking of his life growing up in Dayton, OH. When he does, he sees flashes of his father and mother in fights, watches his mother taking beating after beating for him for being ‘different’ or more advanced than other kids his age. A rage grew in him every day when his father’s reactions only worsened with time, and Bruce could feel something building within him, never actually knowing that being exposed to radiation had changed him irreversibly in the womb.

His parents gradually lost interest in Bruce, his mother being his only saving grace when she found the time to give him something other than negative attention. Slowly, he began to rely only on himself, throwing himself into learning and education as time passed. One night, when his mother had finally had enough of Bruce’s father’s beatings and manipulation, she tried to flee with Bruce, and her life was taken by her husband right before Bruce’s eyes.

After his mother’s death, Bruce began to shut himself off from everyone, even his aunt, Susan Drake, who’s care Bruce ended up in after his father was sentenced to life in a psychiatric facility. And despite his urge to shut down emotionally, Bruce began to develop multiple personality disorder, anger, rage, and sorrow from his childhood trauma being his triggers. He was never properly diagnosed despite constantly talking to himself under his breath to his imaginary friend ‘Hulk’, even through high school.

Alienated from his peers, who thought that Bruce was crazy despite being incredibly intelligent, Bruce began to feel separated from his humanity in general, never quite fitting in with the rest of the ‘human race.’ For this, he was bullied relentlessly throughout the rest of his school years, only shutting himself off further than before.

Bruce’s education through university was the highlight of his life - instead of being tormented for his intellect, he was revered. Easily becoming top of his class, graduating with multiple degrees and PHD’s, Bruce found himself drawn to the sciences and medicines. He enjoyed learning how things worked - what made them tick, and what kept them ticking. 

After graduation, this love turned into something more of a career, as he was tapped by the US Army to create military weapons. This became his life’s work and something that he would become well-known for by the general public. With this work though, it left him little time for a social life. What little dating he attempted, things typically ended because of Bruce’s ‘lack of intimacy’ and fear of commitment. 

Pitching a project to the US Government, which he hoped would not just be used as a weapon of destruction, but also one to possibly further medicine, it was dubbed the ‘Gamma Bomb.’ It was a serum which used radiation to create a ‘super-solider’ effect on its user. On the first test of the Gamma Bomb, Bruce was exposed to the high radiation and died, then instantaneously was revived as a 2000lbs green radiation monster born of the rage and anger of his childhood.

After escaping from his quarantine at the military base, leaving a massive wave of destruction and hurt in his wake, Bruce did tests on himself in a private lab, finding that anytime his heart rate escalated over 200bpm or he was in mortal danger, he would revert to the Hulk and could be a potential danger to anyone he was around. Unable to control himself, and wanting to desperately find a cure for his radiation, Bruce decided to go off-grid, dodging any attempts at General Ross trying to find him.

Until many years later, he would succeed. Bruce used many techniques to keep Hulk at bay, to keep his identity secret, until he is found by Ross’ team in Rio de Janeiro, where he would have to defeat them and flee once again.

THE AVENGERS

The next time Bruce is found, it is by SHIELD member Natasha Romanoff, which in turn has him meet Steve Rogers, the infamous super solider whom Bruce tried so desperately to replicate his own failed super solider serum after.

He is recruited by Tony Stark to help take down Loki, and then ultimately become one of the Avengers, which Bruce vehemently tries to deny, but finds a sort of family within the group of heroes despite not feeling like a hero himself.

It was the first time in his life that he felt like he belonged - that there was actually a group of people who wanted him around, accepted himself and Hulk despite how dangerous they could be. He now stands by them almost to a fault, even when they’re in the wrong (especially Tony Stark, since everyone knows he is Bruce’s weak spot). 

BEGIN AGAIN

After the fight with Voltron, Bruce found himself never staying in the city for long. After many years of being off the grid, sleeping in alleyways, eating out of dumpsters, and never really having a place to call home, it was difficult for him to adapt to the crowded life of New York City. Only coming back when called from the Avengers, Bruce spent most of his time in India, researching a cure for his gamma radiation.

After the rise of Genosha, Bruce found himself back in New York, knocking once again on Tony Stark’s door. Taking him in like the good friend he is, Bruce tried to create a life for himself once more, ultimately making dicey decisions like always.

Visiting Genosha, Bruce became fast friends with Erik Lehnsherr, whom he helped revive after the man’s death as the Phoenix. They travelled off-grid from New York while Erik dealt in some shady dealings, Bruce by his side. 

When returning to New York during the blackout, Erik once again in the spotlight of another dangerous situation, Bruce decided that he and the Hulk were simply too much of a dangerous risk in the city while something was creating ghostly forms of negative emotion, as they could use Hulk to completely destroy New York City.

Grabbing his necessities, Bruce Banner fled the city once more, vehemently denying that he was just avoiding his problems and afraid of any sort of intimacy, like the relationships he’d built after being back in the city.

Now, a few months later, after hiding out in a secluded cabin in Wyoming for the summer, Bruce is back once more, nervously retracing his footsteps like he always does, desperate to come back to the one place he feels like he belongs with the people who make him feel the most human.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s DICK GRAYSON / NIGHTWING, a HERO from DC! HE is 28 years old and look an awful lot like AVAN JOGIA. I hear they are employed as a DETECTIVE. Rumor has it they are AFFILIATED with THE BATFAM. I wonder what they’ll find with their new beginning! 

WADDUP it’s me, venturing a little deeper into the world of DC! I think most people have a basic idea of who Dick is, but if you’re not sure on the timeline you can find his full bio here! It’s a fat one, so to break down the basics for you:

Dick’s parents died in a trapeze accident (that wasn’t really an accident) when he was very young, and he was taken in by Bruce Wayne shortly after. After he put together the fact that Bruce was Batman, he convinced the vigilante to take him on as his sidekick, the first Robin.

He was the Robin to Bruce’s Batman for years until he was hurt on the job and Bruce ‘fired’ him. Dick got his feelings hurt and left Gotham, for the drama. He moved to Bludhaven (a nearby city, also in Jersey) and took on a new name - Nightwing.

In Bludhaven, he hopped around in a lot of careers before settling on a job as a police officer (eventually promoted to detective). Shortly after, he was approached by a shady government agency and asked to partake in some undercover work in Madripoor. He accepted, because of course he did.

He spent about a year in Madripoor and just recently returned! Since his return, he’s been splitting his time between Gotham, Bludhaven, and New York. 

Potential connections:

When I say Dick’s had a lot of jobs, I mean he’s had a lot of jobs. Like, pretty much every job you can imagine. It’s entirely possible that he’s worked with your character at some point, or that they’ve met him through one of his short-lived career choices. (For example: he taught yoga for a beat, so your character could have attended one of his classes!)

Nightwing has been a prominent vigilante for a long time now, and Robin was a prominent one before that. In that time, Dick met a lot of people and, because he is incredibly friendly, befriended everyone he could. Most street heroes probably know him or know of him, and they may either like him or be thoroughly annoyed by him.

Dick dates around a lot. Like, a lot a lot. He tends to stay on good terms with his exes after breakups, so any ex connections would likely still be friends now!

After spending the last year in Madripoor, Dick has all kinds of shady connections. If your character is the shady type, they can be one of them!

I’d love to build connections with people he’s saved over the course of his career! He absolutely keeps tabs on everyone he’s saved to make sure they’re doing okay, and sometimes might anonymously slip their name to someone in the Wayne Foundation to get them some funds if needed.

He’s pretty much the only cop in Bludhaven that actually arrests people, because the Bludhaven PD is dirty af. If your character is the type who might be arrested... Dick could have been that arresting officer! What better way to make friends!

Alternatively, if your character is doing a petty crime for a good reason, Dick may be the officer to look the other way or let them off with a light warning.

FULL NAME: Wanda Maximoff ALIASES: Scarlet Witch, Ana Maximoff, Emperor of Magic, Fine Sorceress, Little Witch, Pretender, Queen of Chaos, Wanda Django Maximoff, Wanda Frank, Wanda the Witch, Wendy, Witch. AGE: 27/ unaware of her true age. CURRENT JOB: Bookstore clerk ORIGINS: Unknown to her. SPECIES: Mutant POWERS: Chaos magic, magic, astral projection, binding, chronokinesis, energy blasts, and clairvoyance and more can be found HERE. ABILITIES: Aviation Intuition, Expert Combatant, Expert Tactician & Leadership, Meditation, Multilingual: Wanda is fluent in several languages include English, French, and German, with at least some knowledge of Greek and Slorenian, however, in the case of the latter, she admits to being more comfortable speaking English. It is possible that she knows other language as well: for example, since she was born and raised in Serbia, it is likely that she knows Serbian and, since her foster parents were members of the Romani community, she may know one or more dialects of Romani as well. BIOGRAPHY:

Unbeknownst to Wanda, and perhaps Pietro, Wanda was born in 1956 when her mother Magda left her father Erik Lehnsherr. Some time later, Magda perished and the twins found themselves in the care of a gyspy couple named Django and Marya Maximoff. They were in their care until Hydra members captured the twins and experimented on them for years. In the president day, the Avengers were lead to believe that the twins were younger than they truly are even with a story of the loss of their adoptive parents; but after so many years in captivity, Wanda’s mental compacity had severely been impacted and even believed the stories she heard whispered in the hallways by the men who feared her. Because she and Pietro are mutants, and impacted by the mind stone, their aging is also severely stunted and Wanda appears to be a young woman still (twenty-seven, at most).

While she did fight on Ultron’s side, she could see the damage that would be done if he should get his way and switched sides to the Avengers with her twin. They fought to save Sokovia citizens together and stop Ultron but Pietro was killed in the process by saving Clint’s life. When this happened, Wanda screamed out in anguish at the loss of the one person who had always mattered to her; the other half of her soul, of course. In the process she released energy that created whipples of possibilities: such as Pietro being resurrected and the twins being created somewhere in the universe or the next.

Wanda stayed with the Avengers afterwards, learning to fight and control her power. She truly believes they became her family and she was extremely grateful for that. They help her want to be better each and every single day. When Wanda finally felt she was able to, she ventured out into the world and even got her first job as a bookstore clerk in New York City as Wendy. The downside of everything, however, is that she’s not as stable as she seems. She’s still fearful of herself and knows the damage she can cause if something were to happen. She fears capture and she fears that one day, her teammates might fear her again. After all, when something is feared... it’s locked up or destroyed. Because she fears herself, she can’t truly ever reach her full potential in power (which thank god because there are a LOT.)

CURRENT JOB: Balloon artist on the corner but the balloons are made from condoms. ORIGINS: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CANADA! SPECIES: Mutant POWERS: Healing factor, Foreign Chemical Resistance, Disease Immunity, Immortality, Telepathic Immunity, Possession Resistance, and various other superhuman abilities such as strength, stamina, etc. ABILITIES: Master Martial Artist, Master Assassin, Multilingual: In addition to English, Wade is fluent in Esperanto, German, Japanese, and Spanish. Medium Awareness, Unpredictability. BIOGRAPHY (from the wiki, for now):

Wade had conflicting memories of his childhood. He once recalled that his father abandoned his mother while she was pregnant with him and she took out her anger on him until, as an adult, he beat her instead.[39] He later recalled that his mother died when he was five and that his father, an army officer, became abusive,[40] causing Wade to grow up to be a thug and criminal. When his father got his act together and tried to rein in his son, one of Wade's friends shot and killed him.[41] However, he told a writer that his father was a teller of bad jokes who abandoned him and his mother while he was a boy. His mother turned to humor, alcohol and home shopping networks as a coping mechanism. He believed that he ran away from home so that his mother wouldn't need to spend what little money she had left on him.[42]

However, it was eventually revealed that his parents were still together, living in Canada and had kept Wade's room as he had left it but Wade himself did not recognize the house, his parents or his room when he returned there as an adult.[43]

After leaving home, he appears to have joined the U.S. Army Special Forces but despite his superior skills, he was drummed out for not following orders that conflicted with his moral code. After a failed suicide attempt just before his nineteenth birthday, Wade was invited to join a clandestine group of CIA-sponsored mercenary assassins thanks to his military record, assured that his targets would all deserve death.[44]

Little is known of Wilson's subsequent activities with this group. At one point he was active in Tangier, Morocco where he romanced a woman named Francie. When this relationship soured, he traveled throughout Asia, and was hired in Japan by a crime lord, the Boss, to infiltrate a sumo-wrestling ring owned by a rival criminal, the Oyakata. Wilson spent three years as a wrestler under the Oyakata's tutelage and became romantically involved with his mentor’s daughter, Sazae. When the Boss finally ordered the Oyakata's murder, Wilson refused to complete his assignment, allegedly the first time he had ever done so, and relocated to the United States.[8]

In America, Wade met and fell in love with mutant prostitute Vanessa Carlysle, with whom he shared dreams of a better life. Wilson was subsequently hired by Middle Eastern interests to assassinate a blind British Government operative named Althea, also known as Blind Al. Upon arrival to the Zaire base where she was stationed, he killed everyone except for Al who had fled.

Those who put the contract out on Al sought vengeance for his failure by targeting Vanessa, who was rescued by Zoe Culloden, an employee of the inter-dimensional firm Landau, Luckman, Lake, and LeQuare. Culloden was keeping Wilson under surveillance, believing he was destined to play a vital part in a potential threat to the world. Learning that he had developed 34 inoperable cancerous tumors, Wilson broke up with his girlfriend Vanessa rather than force her to remain with a terminally ill man. He even gave up his chemo treatments, not wishing to prolong things.[45]

Back in Canada, he was offered hope in the form of Department K, a special weapons development branch of the Canadian government. Wilson became a test subject in Department K’s branch of the joint U.S./Canadian superhuman enhancement project, the Weapon X Program; his cancer was temporarily arrested via the implantation of a healing factor derived from another Department K agent, the mutant adventurer Wolverine.

Wilson was active in a covert field unit alongside the near-invulnerable Sluggo and the cyborgs Kane and Slayback. Vanessa herself was later affiliated with the team after having manifested mutant shapeshifting abilities, calling herself Copycat.

During one mission, Wilson killed his teammate Slayback. Shortly thereafter, his healing factor began to destabilise, bringing his cancer back from remission and causing deformities in his flesh. As a result, he was rejected from the Weapon X Program and sent to the Hospice, allegedly a government facility where failed superhuman operatives were treated. However, unknown to the Canadian government, the Hospice’s patients served as experimental subjects for Doctor Killebrew and his sadistic assistant Ajax (known then as the Attendant), with the patients placing bets in a "deadpool" as to how long each subject would live. Killebrew subjected Wilson to various torturous experiments for his own deranged satisfaction.

AFTER:

Wade eventually began working for himself as a merc for hire after hospice. He’s come across the Avengers, the X-Men and so on. During one “mission” he stole a special watch from the school for gifted youngsters which allows him to appear somewhat normal rather than the usual hideout monster that makes children run away in fear and grown men throw up. The only downside is that Wade can still feel what his true appearance feels like. He can feel the burn scars, feel the “phantom” pain, and can’t escape it in his mind.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

Wade’s mind is massive. It has corridors of doors, filling cabinets, slides, escalators, etc. Chances are if you ever find yourself in his mind, you’ll get lost. Wade hears voices. Two in particular and he calls them Thing One and Thing Two. 

Thing One is somewhat grumpy and literal. My joke is that he sounds like Patrick Stewart. He’s the voice that’s more likely to guide Wade in a better direction and scolds him like the child he is. Thing One’s bubble is [THIS IS A SAMPLE OF SPEECH.]

Thing Two is a child mixed with Flounder from The Little Mermaid when he glitches. Thing Two is childish, crude and most likely to suggest rat poison in the chimichangas. Thing Two’s bubble is {THIS IS A SAMPLE OF SPEECH.}

FULL NAME: Pamela Lillian Isley ALIASES: Poison Ivy, Lillian Rose, Doctor Paula Irving AGE: 27 CURRENT JOB: Owns and runs La Petite Bouquet SPECIES: Human, could be mistaken as a mutant. She’s definitely been changed. POWERS: Genius Level Intellect (Science) Botany: Doctor Isley was a renowned scientist with a career in Gotham City. She's always had a fascination with plants and they have been the major direction in her life even after her accident. Her knowledge of botany allows her to better manipulate her plants. Toxicology: Her specialization in Botany was Toxicology, at first she used her knowledge for perfumes, make-up and medicine. After her accident, she used her knowledge to grow thorny plants and poisonous traps for her enemies. Seduction: Pamela Isley has always been a beautiful woman but she never used her looks or talents for personal gain until she became Poison Ivy. She taunts her trapped opponents with their human desires and can even infatuate thugs to her cause through her plants or her own means. Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): Her athletic abilities have grown over the course of her career. She has learned a limited style of martial arts fighting, is proficient at climbing and leaping, and is a strong and fast swimmer. Thievery. WEAKNESSES: Vulnerability to Darkness (Post-Crisis only): Poison Ivy requires substantial amounts of solar energy to live. Mental Instability(Post-Crisis only): Poison Ivy has been committed to Arkham Asylum on a regular basis. She speaks to her plants, finds extreme rage towards males and at a certain point sought out the destruction of the human race so only she and her plants would live. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Pamela’s skin tone varies from day to day as does her hair color. It’s because if she doesn’t use her ability she’s essentially poisoned from the inside out. When she hasn’t used her ability in a while, her skin tone is pale and her hair appears to be a highlighted brown that borders red. When she has, her skin tone begins to turn green and eventually dark green and her hair is bright red. It’s how she tries to lay low AND help her plants. OTHER: She has Venus Flytraps that she talks to as if they talk back (which they do but she sounds crazy to those who don’t know that).

Pamela Isley was born in Washington, only child of a wealthy family. She attended college in Seattle, where she studied botany. Pamela fell in love with Marc Legrand, one of her teachers and they started a relationship. Eventually, Pamela stole some special herbs from a local museum to help Legrand with some experiments, but he betrayed and poisoned her using the same herbs she had stolen for him. Pamela survived the poisoning and as a result, she became invulnerable to all poisons. These events were known by the FBI, but they had Pamela's name wrongly recorded as Lillian Rose. She turned to a life of crime (though her motives were unclear at the time) and once captured by Batman and Robin, placed in Arkham Asylum once it was clear she was unwell mentally. She was there for a time until she was broken out by two henchwomen working for her ex. Ivy originally said yes to fixing him seeing as he tried to replicate his results on himself and was turned into a head with vines for limbs. In the end she stole the money he offered her and let Batman kill him. Moving to New York, she started her own business with the money and owns an apartment above it. While she’s known in Gotham City as a villain, she’s very much trying to be neutral her mind is unstable.

It doesn’t help that she saved Harley’s life and often hangs out with her (and judges her for wanting to always go back to the Joker when she’s been burned.).

At some point I might write her a real bio, but that day is not today! So bullet points of some things about her past & then connection ideas to follow for those of you who don’t know her. (And I don’t blame you, she’s not very social.) TWs for her bio: murder, depression, anxiety, mental illness! It’s also in the tags but just in case. 

Jessica’s origin story is like that of a lot of heroes. It starts with people she loves getting murdered! She was on a camping trip with three of her closest friends. (Including her ex-boyfriend Matteo. Her best friend Jeanette & an unnamed third friend.) They stumbled onto mobsters trying to hide a body, and not wanting any witnesses, they opened fire and killed her friends. Jessica barely managed to escape, and in the aftermath of the trip, Jessica spent four years isolating herself in her apartment. 

Jessica has been in the possession of two power rings. The Ring of Volthoom and then a standard power ring. (She is the first woman from Earth to be chosen and she, as far as she knows, is the first to have gotten two rings.) 

Because of their inability to work together, Simon and Jess had their lanterns combined into one, meaning that they can’t summon or recharge it without each other. 

Jessica constantly doubts her worthiness of the ring, and because of that, she struggles to create constructs. (She has also canonically panicked in mid-flight in space and told the ring to /stop/ and it did! And Simon had to go get Kyle to come get her.)

Jess earns her spot as a full-fledged GL (kind of? they’re still babies) by punching Guy Gardner in the face. (Please, future Guy potentials, let me punch him in the face just this one time Jess deserves this.) 

She is susceptible to a range of emotions, in the comics she has fallen into rage (not getting a red ring, but on the verge) and then in another comic she does end up with an entirely different ring (it’s in future state so I’m not gonna SPOIL)

For a brief time, Jess does end up with the Phantom Ring and it hones in on your strongest emotion. Jessica, as it was deciding, was scared that it would be fear and that she’d end up overwhelmed by it, but the ring told her it was WILLPOWER! (Clearly, Jessica is meant to be among the Green Lanterns, but she still heavily doubts herself.) 

At one point, Jessica dies in battle. The energy that was used to kill her shatters her ring but the ring hadn’t lost all of its power. The shards interact with the energy of the Omega Beams and bring her back to life. (This is where she loses her first ring and is bestowed a new one quickly after. Chosen /twice/ by the rings. And no she still doesn't believe she deserves it, stop asking.) 

Currently, Jessica is in New York! Her sister Sara is also with her, along with her cat. They live in separate apartments, but they’re neighbors. (I have dreams of a small catwalk between their windows where the cat just bounces between the apartments and you can’t change my mind.) 

POSSIBLE CONNECTIONS

Jessica has worked with the Justice League in the past! I’m not going to name whoever was on the team at the time because I don’t want to force anyone into anything — but if your character was on the team and you want them to be around when Jess had her first ring (and couldn’t control it and all the drama of /that/) then I’d love to have some connections around that time! 

Currently, Jessica is working as a bartender. (A stepping stone to help her deal with people full time!) So, if your character likes bars or frequents them for /other/ reasons, Jessica could be around for any of that! Not as exciting, I know, but it’s a starting point! 

Space adventures! Working as GL with Simon, they spend a lot of time doing stupid shit in space, if your character also does stupid shit in space, they could easily meet! 

Re: The Mafia, if your character has ties to that life or would have followed the story at any point, I could see them potentially knowing Jessica’s name and potentially her face? (She’s still a living witness rip.) Or the reverse of that, if your character might have been involved in the pursuit of the mafia or would have been reporting on the story, they could also know her through that! 

Jessica is extremely active online! Different kind of energy for communication so she’d be on twitter, tumblr, any place where she could connect with strangers and not have to deal with the face to face with anyone. 

Jessica is HUGE into pokemon and comics and video games — anime? Yes. She’d probably end up at the arcade at some point, during their slower times so that it’s not so crowded, but some buddies who also enjoy games and comics and anything like that? Jess would love that!

Rumor has it they are AFFILIATED with THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS. I wonder what they’ll find with their new beginning! 

Simon’s full bio can be found here, but it’s long and I ramble a lot so here’s the basics:

Simon is a Muslim-American whose life got a lot more complicated after 9/11.

After being laid off from his engineering job, he turned to crime to make ends meet. During an illegal street race, his best friend (who was also his brother-in-law) was severely injured and declared brain dead. After this, Simon threw himself more heavily into his side gig as a car thief to support his sister and nephew.

His bad luck continued when he stole a van with a bomb in the back of it. He drove it to his old work place, which he knew was abandoned, and detonated the bomb without hurting anyone but was arrested under suspicion of terrorism and taken to Guantanamo Bay.

While he was being questioned, a Green Lantern ring popped in and said he was cool. He fled the scene and went back home, because he’s not exactly a master criminal. 

He was cornered by a group of heroes including the X-Men, who attempted to arrest them, but he freaked out a little bit and ran away.

During this time, he was able to heal his brother-in-law and bring him out of his coma. How? DC won’t tell us. I’m not bitter.

Eventually, with the help of Natasha Romanoff, Simon cleared his name of the terrorism charge. (The car theft charges are still there because he very much did those.) Natasha became his unofficial probation officer and Simon became a superhero.

Currently, Simon is co-Lanterning with his partner, Jessica Cruz. They share both a Green Lantern Power Battery and a single brain cell.

Potential connections:

Have you ever been to space? Because Simon has! As a Green Lantern, he spends a lot of time patrolling Sector 2814, which includes Earth and the surrounding area. If your character has spent any amount of time in space, they could have run into Simon!

During his whole ‘wanted terrorist’ misunderstanding, Simon was cornered and nearly arrested by a group of heroes. This group included at least some of the X-Men (hi Jean), but I’m open to extending it to other characters as well! 

There’s also the chance that other heroes were aware of Simon during this time, even if they weren’t a part of the team pursuing him. A suspected terrorist with a Green Lantern ring was a pretty big deal when it was happening! If your character is a hero, there’s a good chance they may have been keeping an eye out for Simon. If they were a villain, they may have had plans to attempt to recruit him as well!

Simon makes lots of bad decisions and this isn’t just stealing cars and participating in street races! He also makes bad dating decisions! If anyone’s in the market for bitter petty exes please hit me up I think it would be hilarious frankly.

Former hookups/garden variety exes are also on the table here because my mans is canonically on the dating apps. He swings both ways because women are amazing and he likes making poor choices so he’ll date men too.

If your character may have been involved in illegal street racing and may have been a part of the race that ended with Nazir’s injury, I’d definitely be willing to build something out of that!

Similarly if your character may have been involved in car thefts (or maybe had a car stolen?), there could also be a connection there!

Carl Ferris, Carol’s father, was the original owner of Ferris Aircraft. He was the one who hired Hal’s father to begin with. She met Hal when they were both kids and found they both wanted to be pilots when they grew up. It was then that tragedy struck as the two of them witnessed Hal’s father’s plane crash down on the airstrip.

Carol was set on being a pilot, getting her license to fly as soon as she was able to. It was her dream job and one she thrived in. That was until her father decided on retiring early and giving the business over to her. 

Feeling a sense of responsibility, Carol took on the business despite her passion lying in flying the planes rather than managing them. Especially since his illness was seeming to take a turn for the worse. She was left alone with the business once he passed away and the weight of the whole company on her shoulders.

The Zamarons chose her for a violet ring upon feeling the great loss in her heart. She had a better sense of control of the ring than the others had before, not completely taken over like all others had seemed to be. She was then identified by Queen Aga'Po as the one that could be able to tame the sentient embodiment of love, the Predator. She was appointed the head of the Star Sapphire Corps.

Carol splits her time up between Earth and Zamaron as the head of the Star Sapphire Corps to train new recruits. 

I’ve moved Ferris Aircraft to be located in NYC rather than in Coast City, which is in California.

You want a job? You can have a job!! Carol is the head of the company so she is always happy and able to give jobs out.

On that same note, if your muse owns a business why not be business partners!! Her father had a big influence so while she’s great at managing the business she still would love connections out there in that big bad business world.

Introducing, Kitty Pryde!

There’s a small bio for her here you can look over, but it’s a lot so I’ll do a little tl;dr under the cut. I’ll be posting a couple memes for her over a full starter call, but with that said, feel free to ask me if you’d like anything outside of a meme for any of your characters!

Kitty was born in Deerfield, Illinois and was actually pretty happy there until she started getting this raging headache and falling through floors. Real annoying, but Charles (among a few others) snagged her and she enrolled at Xavier’s.

She likes skating and dancing and punching people who say bigoted bullshit, possibly while still in said skating outfit, it’s a tossup.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s SAM WILSON / CAPTAIN AMERICA / FALCON, a HERO from MARVEL! HE is 34 years old and look an awful lot like ANTHONY MACKIE. I hear they are employed as a SOCIAL WORKER. I hear that they are REGISTERED with THE AVENGERS. I wonder what they’ll find with their new beginning! 

Guess who’s back, back again. Sam is back, tell a friend. I’ve got an about page for him done up here, but here’s a quick rundown!

First and foremost, Sam is Endgame verse! This means he has Steve’s old shield, because Steve got all Joe Biden-y and couldn’t use it anymore 😔

He also didn’t come to this universe when other Endgame-verse characters, like Clint and Bucky did. Essentially, Sam has been watching people in his life disappear for months now without having any idea where they were going. Bucky, Wanda, and Clint all vanished. Natasha and Tony both died before he was unsnapped. Old Man Steve died not long after Bucky vanished (sorry Steve!). This means for the last nine months or so, Sam has been wholly focused on being a superhero.

He recently ended up in this universe accidentally, when a mysterious explosion went off during a battle and transported him here. We love to see it!

Sam doesn’t have any superpowers (for now!), but he IS highly trained and very petty. Watch your back. He’ll fly through your window just to be mean.

Possible connections:

Is your character Endgame-verse? So is Sam! He’s probably going to have some questions for them. Like, for example, “what the fuck?” 

Sam runs a support group for heroes out of Bayard Community Center! The group is designed with secret identities in mind. If someone isn’t ready for the world to know who they are, they’re more than welcome to come to the meetings in-costume and talk about their experiences. If your character is someone who would be likely to attend these meetings, hit me up and we can definitely plot some stuff out! If your character might be at Bayard for other reasons, like to volunteer or get help, they can also know him!

Up until the events after Civil War, this Sam’s life was identical to the life of the Sam who originated in this universe. If your character knew Sam in this world, they probably knew him in his, too. So pre-established connections are more than welcome! If your character did know this universe’s version of Sam, they might be a little curious as to where that dude is, cause he sure ain’t here! Only room for 1 Sam Wilson in this universe, baby!

If your character grew up in New York and has a religious background, particularly baptist, they may have known Sam’s father! Paul Wilson was a very prominent minister and community leader in Harlem and the surrounding areas until his death. Paul’s death rocked the community at the time, and most people who were a part of that community would have been at least vaguely familiar with the people he left behind (like Sam).

Before he joined the military, Sam was a petty criminal in Harlem. He never did anything too bad and what he did do was in the interest of providing for his siblings after his parents died, but it’s safe to say he could have had run-ins with anyone who was in the area at that time. If your character was a street hero back then, maybe they recognized Sam as a man doing what was necessary and let him go. If they were a cop, maybe they were involved in his decision to join the Air Force in order to turn his life around.

If your character was in the military, they could have met Sam through a mission during his deployment. He was pararescue, which means he was a specialized medic. He could have patched your character up after a mission went sideways, or they could have been involved in a rescue together.

Gwen is based on Earth 65 with influences from ITSV! She was Spider-Woman in her universe, having been bitten by a genetically engineered spider that gave her her powers. The Peter of her universe created a serum that turned him into the Lizard. 

After crashing Midtown’s prom Gwen got into a fight with the Lizard, not knowing it was Peter, and the injuries he sustained ultimately killed him when he turned back to his human form.

Zatanna was the one to tell her of the universe that existed where Peter was alive and went by Spider-Man with powers just like hers. 

Instead of being able to save her father from the bullet coming towards him, she was too late and he was also killed.

Feeling like she had nothing to tie her to her universe, she came to this one. She filled the role of a ghost here, hence the new name Ghost-Spider. She’s been trying to keep a low profile, working in a bakery she lived above and fighting crime on the DL but obviously that won’t last!

powers, skills, & equipment —

johnny has a universal translator which can interpret languages both aliens and terrestrial into english for him. which comes in handy for all of the adventures they go on, or what they encounter.

his suit, and a lot of his clothes are constructed of unstable molecules, which are attuned to his powers, allowing it to become burst into flame when he does. the suit is like a wearable computer that keeps track of everyone’s stats, touch-pad controls on he gauntlets, able to locate everyone on the team’s location, and several other neat features that reed has programmed into it.

johnny can stay aflame for 16.8 hours.

PYROGENESIS: the mental ability to control ambient heat energy, and the ability to physically transform his entire body, or just portions of it into a fiery, plasma-like state.  this doesn’t hurt him. normally when aflame it’s of low-intensity which is about 780 degrees fahrenheit. he’s capable of going higher if the situation calls for it.

PYROKINESIS: can generate shapes made out of fire, usually done with his hands to sculpt the flames. they only maintain the shape long as he is concentrating on them. example, he can form a lasso around his enemies.  

NOVA FLAME: the highest, hottest level johnny can create. he can release all of his body’s stored energy in one intense, omni-directional “nova-burst”, which can reach about 1,000,000 F.

FLIGHT: he can fly !! johnny can go 140 miles an hour.

some history —

jonathan lowell spencer “johnny” storm was the second child born to franklin and mary storm. he has one sibling, an older sister named susan. their mother died in a car accident, and due to the loss their father who was a doctor couldn’t save her so he spiraled into gambling and booze.

franklin borrowed money from an underworld shark, and when he couldn’t repay them susan and johnny were threatened so he got into a fight with the criminal. the man shot himself, but their father got charged with manslaughter and sent to a penitentiary for his crimes. he didn’t defend himself due to still mourning mary.

johnny loves automobiles! he loves working on them, and from a young age he was fascinated so he learned how to be a mechanic. he can build any vehicle from scratch if he as the appropriate resources.

saved two of his friends from a burning building when he was a teenager ???

johnny followed his sister to join scientist reed richards and pilot ben grimm on a space flight when he was little. he was the youngest person to ever become an astronaut since he was literally a child. however, there was some cosmic radiation which was what transformed him into the human torch, and the four of them would end up forming the fantastic four !! his identity is public, but that has never bothered him.

his older sister is his favorite person tbh ??? she raised him after they lost their parents and he knows that sue worked really hard.

their headquarters is at the baxter building, which is where they call home, and it’s where johnny lives with everyone. he loves living there and it’s where he feels the most comfortable! 

johnny is a professional race car driver. he’s one of the youngest drivers in the sport.  he loves the attention that he gets between that and his superhero work. he’s also a socialite. he does some modeling, and did acting in a few western films. it’s fair to say he’s a celebrity.

he really loves jokes and pranks as well! ben is usually the target.

while being charismatic and confident he does have moments where he’s insecure and starts hating himself. no one sees the break downs aside from his family in those moments usually. the most important time this happened was when a kid set himself on fire trying to be like him and ended up dying. the guilt almost consumed him and his sister had to calm him down.

Oh look it is basic Maddie bringing Sue back again to wreck your lives oop. My canon is listed and I will try and write a proper bio out for her but these are just some basic facts about my Marvel Mom.

Sue Storm is the daughter of Franklin and Mary Storm and is the older sister to Johnny Storm. After a car accident killed their mother and Franklin was unable to save her, Franklin spiralled down hill the ended with murder of a loan shark and did not fight the case due to feeling guilt over their mother’s death. During this time, Sue had to grow up quick and became a mother figure to Johnny.

Despite all of this, Susan was considered a child prodigy, having built a sugar powered rocket at the age of eight that destroy her father’s car. This experience changed her mind to focus on the ‘inner space’ of biology instead. At the present day, Sue has four doctorates for biology to her name including biotechnology and biophysics. She is recorded as having the IQ level of 170.

Having met Reed Richards as a teenager, she became interested in his work and herself, her brother and friend Ben Grimm all joined Reed’s expedition. However, when their ship was bombarded with cosmic rays, the four were thought to be dead. Instead, they gained superhuman powers with Sue being able to turn invisible and later her powers grew strong, being able to project force fields and her invisibility.

Though considered superheroes, Sue does not call herself such and believes what their adventures are in the pursuit of research and simply believes that having the powers they do that they should defend people from threats they can’t fight.

Alongside Reed, Susan was essential in the research on their powers, being able to calculate how all four of their powers worked. With better understanding of her own, Sue was able to become perhaps one of the most powerful people though she hardly believes this.

Early in her career, Sue could only turn herself invisible and not her clothes. Her costume is specially designed to turn invisible with her. This led to some embarrassing mishaps of Sue accidentally reappearing while still learning how to control her powers in her underwear or less. After research and experience, Sue doesn’t have to suffer from this anymore though it is brought up at times.

Do not call her Invisible Girl and if you come for her family, she will crush you aka Marvel Mom xo.

one day the brothers were flying home with their parents on a vintage private plane. they were meant to be coming home from a family vacation, but their plane caught fire while in the air. unfortunately they only had one parachute on board. alex who was still young at the time was clinging to his older brother while crying about what was going on. he didn’t quite understand, but their mother was setting the boys up with the only parachute available. they got pushed out the door by katherine, and alex continued to hold onto his brother. scott held onto him so tight that there was bruises on alex’s arms. he shielded him from seeing the plane go down in flames. scott used his optic blasts for the first time to slow their descent after their parachute caught fire too. they were orphans now, and alex continues to stay close to his brother everywhere they went.

they both ended up being hospitalized after the incident. After two weeks the boys left the hospital to be placed in the State Home for Foundlings — an orphanage in Omaha, Nebraska. they were subjected to a battery of tests and experiments by the owner, mr. milbury. which was an alias for an evil geneticist named Sinister. alex didn’t know what to think about the orphanage, afraid of it so he would hide behind scott when anyone approached them. ainister ended up separating them by adopting alex out to the blanding family.

andrew and joanna blanding adopted alex into their family. they recently lost their son todd in a car accident. he wasn’t completely alone, gaining an older sister named haley who looked out for him the best she could. his adoptive parents would pressure alex into being a replacement for todd. he was forced to join the football team as a quarterback because that used to be the position todd played on the team. alex didn’t have any interest in the sport at all, preferring basketball if anything, but tries his hardest to please them. haley would help alex escape from awkward situations if she could.

it turns out todd’s death wasn’t an accident, but instead was killed by someone named vincent. one day while alex and haley were walking home vincent kidnapped them. he was angry and even accused alex of stealing his spot on the football team in the past. the attack causes alex to manifest his mutant abilities for the first time. although his plasma blasts accidentally incinerated the boy into bones and ash. his sister tried to clam him down, saying that they couldn’t tell anyone about what happened.

what alex didn’t know is that sinister has been keeping an eye on him all this time since he was adopted. so he came forward that night to place psi-blocks on both alex and haley so they would forget everything that happened that night. alex has no idea about his mutant powers the next day or the fact he killed vincent.

alex didn’t realize that he was a mutant until he became eighteen. his archeology professor ahmet abdol was also a mutant — who ended up kidnapping him. it was all part of a plan to use the ambient cosmic radiation from alex’s body to attain his latent potential. the energy transformed abdol into the living monolith — a gigantic mutant with vast cosmic power. the strain of abdol’s technology on alex made his mutant powers resurface again. the monolith was defeated by the x-men, and this is when the summers brothers got reunited after all these years. alex’s older brother scott became the x-men’s field leader known as cyclops.  

alex decided to stay in the egyptian desert because he wasn’t able to control his shock waves yet. although soon as the x-men left a sentinel captured alex. he was taken to the headquarters of larry trask. it was here that trask gave alex the codename havok.  he was given a suit that displayed his build up of cosmic energy within him. eventually the x-men freed the captive mutants here, and alex finally went with his brother to civilization. the x-men started to help alex train so he could keep his energy in check. he eventually mastered it to only release it when he wished to.

he left to go finish his degree after gaining control over his powers. he continued to be a member of the x-men, but it was important to finish his geophysics studies. he decided to transfer to a college in new york to be close to scott while completing his masters.

the registration —

after arriving much too late to the park, alex didn’t handle the news of his older brother dying well. while upset he accidentally incinerates several trees around him with his plasma blasts. this doesn’t go unnoticed. soon enough an inhibitor collar is put around his neck and he was sent to a cell on the raft for his destructive behavior. he spends the next several weeks locked up, mourning scott.

eventually they approach him with an offer since nobody was actually hurt by his display in the park. they decide to let him walk free on one condition. he is forced to register. they didn’t give him much choice, and claimed they were doing him a favor with this. alex is told to be thankful that they didn’t put a tracker under his skin. as if being spared from that should make him feel better about being forced to register.

it makes him feel sick.

he just got out of the raft, and put back into society which is how alex finds out scott is alive again. he doesn’t understand how, but worries about how his brother will react to what happened to him. the guards in the prison weren’t exactly the kindest to him since they would rough him up just for being a mutant.

powers and abilities —

alex is an alpha-level mutant

AMBIENT ENERGY CONVERSION: absorbs ambient cosmic energy into the cells of his body and processes it into plasma. this results in control over an extremely powerful sort of destructive force. at times he is not entirely able to control this ability, which sometimes makes him a danger to those around him unless he wears a special containment suit to assist him. alex’s body is constantly in the process of absorbing cosmic radiation. upon the total expenditure of all his available energy, it takes his body about 16 ½ hours to recharge to its peak level unless he absorbs a large amount of energy at once. the act of concentration involved in releasing his energy in anything other than an omni-directional wave is physically exhausting for alex if he continues it over an extended period of time. he can absorb cosmic energies from his environment (such as starlight, x-rays, and gamma radiation) and store them within his body cells, metabolizing the energy in order to generate plasma wave discharges that super-heat and disintegrate objects or create concussion bursts by violently displacing air molecules in his path. his ability to absorb energy is so great that he was able to survive being dropped into a large star, and use it’s energy to augment his powers.

ENERGY ABSORPTION: not only can alex passively absorb cosmic energy from his environment but has shown he can willingly absorb, store, and re-process various other energies from other sources through conscious force of will. he showcased this aspect once when he was thrown into a star.

PLASMA EMANATION: ability to shoot or emanate plasma in the form of a blast or discharge, with a tell-tale concentric circle pattern. these waves will emanate from his body in all directions unless he purposefully tries to channel them in a single direction, usually along the length of his arms. this results in control over an extremely powerful sort of destructive force. when havok strikes an object with the waves of intensity of hot plasma, the sudden vast jump in temperature will often cause objects to shatter, explode, or seemingly disintegrate. should havok direct his energy at the lowest level, he can project it towards a human being and his target will suffer a severe headache but will not burn up.

FLIGHT: can also use stored energy for flight by directing it as a downward thrust. at full energy capacity he has an easier time managing his energized propulsion through his powers.

HEAT IMMUNITY: virtually immune to the effects of most forms of heat.

RADIATION IMMUNITY:  virtually immune to the effects of most forms of radiation.

GENIUS LEVEL INTELLECT: well educated in geophysical sciences.
