#being greeted by yuji brightened my day

hello <3 may I request Tokyo revengers with a itadori!fem reader with toman? (they have a crush on her) they don't know that reader is a sorcerer but when they accidentally stumble upon her fighting a curse? like the curse can be seen (like Choso's two brothers, they can be seen and stuff). sorry if this is getting too specific, you can just do a normal itadori!fem reader :) thank you if you accepted my request! 💙
Hey anon! And of course!!
Choso and his brothers (except Yuji) were all curse wombs placed into human bodies so that is what I shall be running with on this idea 😊
Thank you for requesting and I hope you enjoy the finished product! ❤️ And so sorry for how long it took me to get this out 😭💕

Toman with a Yuji Itadori!f!reader
TW: mentions of curse possession, violence, gang life, JJK X Tokyo Revengers crossover, AU where everyone lives
To Toman, you were their little ball of happiness and sunshine. That one person who would brighten up their days just because you could and the one that would throw herself in the path of danger for them. With how outgoing and kind you were, it was no surprise that most of them ended up with a crush on you.
What the members of Toman didn't realise though was that you led another life outside of the gang. Sure, they knew about your incredible speed and strength, it's what had helped you get into the biker gang. However, they didn't know what you did when gang business wasn't in session. In fact, none of them had seen you other than at the shrine for the meetings.
That was until the day they did see you.
The boys were all off to hang out at the café, Mikey being the one to suggest it. Takemichi was talking with Chifuyu and Baji; Nahoya and Souya were chatting happily away with Mitsuya and Hakkai; Mucho and Sanzu kept to themselves; and Draken was with both Mikey and Emma at the front. It was all pretty standard for the boys.
It was Baji who had caught sight of you first. But what he was witnessing had caused him to stop. That is what had caught the attention of the others and it wasn't long until they were looking over in the direction Baji was.
You were currently fighting against a curse that had been placed in a person's body. You had an idea on who would have done it and that only added fuel to your anger. Why would someone use an innocent person like this? But, for now, you were forced to fight else others would die.
Divergent Fist was activated and was proving effective in this battle. However, it didn't seem to stop the cursed human from landing an attack that sent you flying. Your body slammed against the wall, not enough to cause permanent damage but enough to force the air from your lungs.
"Damn... That really hurts..." You sat up, rubbing your lower back while grumbling to yourself. The cursed human simply laughed, thinking they had won this spar.
"Y/N! Are you OK?!" Twelve voices you recognised were approaching where you were resting for a moment. Before you could even think to warn them about coming closer, all of their faces greeted you. Chifuyu, Takemichi and Emma all searched your body for wounds while the rest could only watch you with worried expressions.
"Oh, hey guys! Yeah, I'm good!" A sheepish grin pulled at your features. "Let me just finish this business off and then we can all hang out together!" Always the one to make sure no one worried, you stood to your feet and made your way back over to where the curse stood.
It didn't take you long to deal with the situation. Sure, it made you feel uncomfortable that you had to beat up an innocent person. But thankfully, Megumi and Nobara had arrived and told you that they would sort the rest out, knowing how much you were affected by it. Thanking them both, you went back over to where the confused Toman boys were.
"Now that my business is done, should we get going? I hear they sell some delicious crepes at the new dessert place!" You rattled on, the bright and smiley Y/N back.
The boys couldn't believe what they had witnessed but decided that they wouldn't bring it up for your sake. And so, everything was back to normal with only the thoughts of today's events on the boys' mind. And maybe a few of them developed bigger crushes on you from that moment.on.

The sounds of the strings being plucked to construct a beautiful melody filled the spring air with its euphoric sound as the pale pink cherry blossom petals graceful fell from its branches giving a beautiful sight to behold, while the crowds of men in the garden celebrated with red sake plates in hand that was filled to the brim with the sweet alcohol that was being consumed in a rapid rate.
However, as much as the King of Curses wanted to disrupt the little gather for his own sadistic pleasure, the melody that was playing in the air captivated him to pause his wicked thoughts and desires and demanded him to appreciate the music the was being created by the lone female that was at the centre of the ocean of men - who were laughing drunkenly while some observed her from afar.
The lone female on her knees, while her eyes were set on the musical tool that was set in front of her, was delicately but masterfully plucking the thin transparent stings to create a tune that no other person within the gardens could recreate - not even the other talented musicians that were also present within the large garden. Eyeing the beauty that was charming almost everyone within her presence, the King of Curses slyly came closer (but out of sight) to gain a closer look at what was going on.
“Who is she?”
“She’s the only daughter from the prominent L/N family, they’re are known for their musical talents and from the rumours, that is certainly no lie,”
“Is she married? I can imagine having her playing for me every day with that beautiful melody,”
However, before one of the males of court nobility could even answer the question, an elegant but powerful voice echoed throughout the garden causing everyone to swiftly turn to the direction of the angelic voice, only to suddenly find that it was that lone female in the middle of the garden singing with the alluring tone that she had created herself - leaving everyone in a trance to the grace that was beautifully presented to them.
“I need to make her my wife,”
“I’m afraid that is easier said than done, my lord. From what has been going around, she has refused all of the men that have proposed their hand in marriage, there isn’t a reason that is known for this that can answer everyone’s confusion,”
“What do I need to give her? Money! Power! I have plenty of that,”
“She has rejected all of the noblemen that have come her way, no riches could ever convince her and I’m surprised that her family also agree to her antics”
Listening from a distance, Sukuna couldn’t help but become intrigued by what was being said. Many women in this time would have jumped on the chance to marry someone from a higher status let alone be married off quickly, yet here you were singing and playing like you have all the time in the world with no worries or fears that could distract you. You were at peace, while he was the destruction.
Somewhat still in a trace, it was suddenly cut off once the final string was pulled causing there to be absolute silence to fill the space leaving only the wind to cover the lack of sound before a loud parade of claps were heard as the emperor - who hosted the party - stood up with pride written all over his face. Standing up from your position, you have a light smile before bowing to show your gratitude to being allowed to play in such a prestigious event as you then made your way to the other musicians to pass them on for the next performance.
“Y/N! That was amazing, you never disappoint,”
“I have no idea what you saying, I messed up on the second to last note when I hit the wrong string, ha what am I doing to do? That is going to extremely bother me for the time being,”
“Stop being such a perfectionist! None of the sorcerers, noblemen and emperor knows that, so you’re fine,”
“Thank you and shouldn’t you really go, is it not your turn?”
“Oh! My apologies, I’ll meet up with you later,”
With your friend running off to continue with musical performance, you stood in your spot as you watched her go further into the distance leaving you to soak in the sunray that was gently providing a warm glow to your complexion as the deep purple of your kimono also brightened up leaving it somewhat of a lavender shade. Taking a deep sigh, you looking up to admire the cherry blossoms that were in bloom, only to see a figure settled on one of the branches with his ruby eyes set upon you, even though the man was hidden very skilfully within the plethora of petals you could sense him from a while away, but before you could even voice out your confusion.
“Ah, there she is! Miss L/N,”
Displaying a face of irritation on the rude disturbance - leaving Sukuna to display a face of amusement instead - you turned around to find two men standing in front of you with one that seemed to be of younger age compared to his counterpart making you come to the realisation that it was a son and father - leaving you to mentally groan in annoyance as you instantly knew where this little conversation was going.
“I want you to met my son, he is -”
“I’m sorry, but I am not interested in his hand in marriage nor his companionship” you immediately interrupted the noblemen, causing both of the men to look at you in complete shock as they didn’t expect you to figure out their intentions so soon after only a few words exchanged.
“But my dear, this is an amazing opportunity for you to-”
“Become someone with a higher nobility? Don’t make me laugh, I rather become a peasant then spend the eternity of my life bound to you,”
“What is it that you desire for your hand? Wealth? Power? Prestige? You name what you desire and we will provide!”
“I’m afraid that what I desire is impossible for you to provide me, my apologies”
“What is it that you want, woman?! Who doesn’t want what I can give you within an instinct?” the son soon erupted in anger at this rejection, still in utter confusion on why you were so adamant on not wanting to wed him.
“Entertainment? Can you provide that? You see, you noblemen always offer what you have already stated to me and that may sound very enticing to another but, you all are so boring,”
The two noblemen looked at you with astoundment in their eyes as well as Sukuna, who was cunningly listening from above on where you found him - the King of Curses didn’t want to confess this to himself but he was confused on what you trying to demonstrate here with you little speech.
“You are so so boring, you men expect me to play and sing for you every single day like a bird in a cage, yet I get no entertainment in return from you? Isn’t that quite unfair? You have no talent yet you want to be greedy, what ridiculous idea is that? It’s almost laughable in my opinion,”
Sukuna almost burst out laughing from what you artfully expressed to the two men that were in front of you as he also could relate to what you were saying. The sorcerers that he had fought and killed with his bare hands were all boring with no hint of excitement from any of the battles he had faced and here you were expressing the same distaste - they were boring. All of them.
‘Well, well little songbird, I got your attention, now you have mine,’
                                        ꕥ
“Sukuna?” you called out in a hushed surprised tone, as you unexpectedly found him sitting comfortably on the wooden corridor outside your room. Even since that little encounter back at the garden party, you have been seeing the special grade curse looming about here and there within your personal space, causing you to one day to finally acknowledge his presence that was constantly around you, only leading up where you both were now.
The excitement of these secret meetings that you both had late at night was the entertainment that you were looking for. The excitement of being so secretive with the man you desired to love but couldn’t to the outer world was the entertainment that no nobleman would ever provide you. It was the fact that this romantic link between you and Sukuna was forbidden that excited the both of you. This was the entertainment that you both desire.
“Hello, my little songbird,” Sukuna greeted you with a smirk before gently grabbing your hand to pull you down to his height - well more rather below his height - to meet eye to eye with you. “Didn’t you miss me?” he then teasingly asked, causing you to look away in a bashful expression because you knew that he knew what your answer was going to be. However, pushing your pride aside, you slowly wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him into an embrace which then led him to place a hand on the back of your neck, holding you in place as he savoured the warmth that you were providing him.
“Where have you been? I was worried,” you stated to him, and even though it was a laughable comment to him since what was the point in worrying about him, he couldn’t help but appreciate the foreign concern that you had for him - it truly warmed his heart that you were here with him. “I was busy, now why don’t you sing for me, my little songbird, I do miss the sound of your sweet voice,” he declared to you before placing a few light open mouth kisses on your neck leading you to let out a soft moan of pleasure which seemed to put a smile on the curse’s face.
“What would you like for me to sing to you then?” You asked as you used your hand to gently run your hand through his hair which caused Sukuna to become relaxed and lower his guard within your embrace - the only time he allowed himself to do so and the only person that was allowed to see him in this state.
“Anything. Anything that you sing for me is enough”
To be held in your arms was what Sukuna always wanted and desired every day of his life, to hear your voice was something that made him forget about the world just like back at the garden party and the elegance that you embodied while playing the Koto was something he could never get out of his mind. You were his safe haven. His little songbird. However, that was 1000 years ago.
                                          ꕥ
Residing within his vessel, Sukuna began to wonder what could have caused him to start to reminisce about the past when clearly he couldn’t do anything to bring you back with him. You were gone. You have passed. There was nothing he could do even as a powerful curse himself to bring your back onto his arms and let you sing to him.
However, what could make do for now was the song that was annoyingly playing within the music store that his vessel - Itadori Yuji - decided to visit as it seemed like he was interested in what was new with his friend Fushiguro Megumi. Slowly, the King of Curses could hear the music beginning to fade, indicating that it was the end of it before another quickly began to play to replace the ending song.
Unlike the other song, this one was softer in tune with something being strummed in the background - just like how you would strum the strings of the Koto when he would ask you to play it for him to admire - to which was then sung on top with a female voice. Disinterested, Sukuna began to dissociate himself with the song that was now playing until another voice came in with the song, suddenly leaving him in a trance like the one he was back 1000 years ago at that garden party.
Sitting up from his position, he intensively listened closer making sure that his ears didn’t deceive him from what he thought he heard.
“Oi brat! Who is singing that song?”
“Ha? What do you want now?” his vessel replied, surprised and annoyed at the sudden appearance of the curse that was inside him.
“What does Sukuna want now?” Fushiguro asked, slightly worried about what was happening and what could happen at this moment and time since they were in a public place filled with people.
“Answer the question before I rip your heart out again,” Sukuna threatened, slowing becoming impatient and desperate for an answer leaving Itadori no choice but for once cooperate with the special grade curse.
“From what I believe, it’s a group song called ‘Don’t know what to do’, I believe there are five girls within that group,” Itadori explained before he quickly stopped within his track to see a screen playing a stage performance of the exact same song being played in the store. “Yeah! There is the group, they are really well known in Japan since they’re are touring there, I think the youngest is the same age as me and Fushiguro” to which he pointed at a girl that he was explaining about.
Looking at the scene through Itadori’s eyes, Sukuna began to observe each and every single girl that was dancing on the stage before he paused his view on a certain girl that Itadori pointed, who was dressed in a white off the shoulder crop top that was long-sleeved with a white skirt paired with white trainers that matched with the rest of the girls within the group.
“Little songbird?” he quietly muttered, not believing what was presented in front of him at this current moment in time.
There was no doubt about it, that was you on the screen singing and dancing to a song that he slowly began to love once he heard your voice. You truly looked angelic as you gracefully danced across the stage somehow managing to maintain a stable singing voice that never disappointed him. You were back.
His little songbird.

⠀⠀⠀⠀LUCIOUS CHOCOLATE LOCKS BOUNCED AS SHE RAN TOWARDS THE SENSEI. the young girl ran as fast as her legs could take her to the tall, sugar haired male that stands tall with a smile, dressed in all black and carrying a white plastic bag in his hand. the little girl's dress sways as she continues to stride towards his direction, a grin spreads on her lips as she finally reaches her target. jumping up into his arms, the man grins at the child and carries her.
"heya, it's been a while nomari! did you miss me?" the girl in the male's arms, nomari nods her head, engulfing him into a hug. the man chuckles, hugging her back before placing her down to the ground. his large hand pats the girl's head, messing up the bangs which usually cover her eyes, she swats his hand away as a sign to tell him to stop his actions.
laughing he says, "haha, sorry about that. couldn't help myself. oh! these are for you, i bought some kikufuku as souvenirs."
"gojo-sensei, who's the kid?" a pink haired teen points to the twelve year old who happily takes the plastic bag from gojo, glancing over to his three students.
"she's mizuki nomari, mizuki-sensei's daughter." a black haired boy answers, both the pinkett boy and orange haired girl he's with mouths shapes into an 'o' understanding his explanation.
"hey! i'm kugisaki nobara!" the girl introduces herself as the pink haired boy followed suit. "i'm itadori yuji, nice to meet you!"
nomari looks at them, bowing in respect and waving her hand. the two teenagers bowed back in courtesy, smiling brightly at the young girl who stood beside gojo. they inch closer to her, leaning down to her level to continue further talking with nomari.
"say, do you like sweets? we could go out to the sweets cafe nearby and try it?" kugisaki asks excitedly, finally thinking that she has someone to spend some of her time trying food out with. stars basically flew around the girl's body, hoping that she would answer back.
nomari nods her head back, glancing up to gojo as if telepathically asking him if she has permission to go with the teenager. gojo chuckles, shrugging his shoulders at the younger girl. "of course you can go."
nomari grins widely as she looks at the hand kugisaki reaches out towards her, grabbing hold of it as they start their journey to their destination. "can i call you mimi-chan? in exchange you can call me nobara-nee." nomari nods her head, following kugisaki with a smile.
"why isn't she talking?" itadori asks, glancing to his male classmate. "is she shy or something, fushiguro?"
"no, that's not it." fushiguro sighs, crossing his arms. he wasn't one to share people's personal experiences to others, but seeing how this change their view towards the child he really had no choice but to tell them.
"mari's mute."
"huhー what happened?!" itadori was caught in a shock, it wasn't everyday that you would see someone with that type of disability. being selectively mute was one thing, but being fully muted was another. he couldn't help but feel sorrow for the child, a gut feeling that just wouldn't leave no matter how much he thinks about it.
"something personal, just don't bring it up." a hand pats the pink haired teen's head, ruffling it up a bit making him quickly snap out of his train of thoughts. he looks up to his teacher, grinning brightly at his figure.
"get going, they're waiting for you guys." gojo says, looking up from their gaze to the side where kugisaki and nomari waited by the entrance of the school.
"you're not coming, gojo-sensei?" itadori asks making gojo glance back at them, "nah, i'm going to visit someone."
"you're going to annoy mizuki-sensei." fushiguro deadpans, seeing through his teacher who only gasps fakely with a hand over his chest pretending to be hurt. "i would never!"
"mizuki-sensei?" itadori ponders, trying to see if such a name or face would come up if he thinks hard enough. yet to no avail, she was really a new name. "i haven't met her yet."
"you'll meet her soon, she just came back from an overseas job." gojo states which shocks fushiguro who's eyes had widened a fragment. "does that mean they're also back?"
the other boy only glances at fushiguro's sudden interest, of course he was interested too but he didn't know what he knew about the others. inspecting the black haired boy's reaction and the sudden smirk that his sensei showed, his instincts were telling him that one of them meant something to fushiguro.
"they're? you mean the two other students?" itdaori raises a brow in curiosity, he wasn't gonna lie; he was intrigued about the two mystery students he had yet to meet.
"yup! but one of them won't be back for a while, she's just studying for a term there." gojo explains the situation, waving his hand as a way to gesture to them that it wasn't much of importance anyways.
"oh, i see." the two teens slowly spin on their heels, walking towards kugisaki and nomari who were patiently waiting for them. gojo grins widely as he waves to them and nomari, "come back before yusa finds out!"
"we will." fushiguro dryly responds, catching up to the two girls; much to his demise kugisaki nagged about how the two of them took so long while nomari just stood there and smiled.
near the school there was a fairly popular sweets café that most students and faculty members would frequent; kuidaore. much to the name with the meaning to eat yourself in bankruptcy, the sweets café had it's way to many customers' hearts.
just as the crowd got denser around the students, nomari's steps quicken until eventually she starts to run away from the group. through all the bypassers that were going along their day, the three teenagers almost lost the little girl that went on with her way.
"h-hey! mimi-chan! where are you going?!" kugisaki tries to reach out for her hand, but it seemed to have missed just by the second. their anxieties went sky-high, knowing full well of the consequences that would happen if they lost the eleven year old now out of all times.
"mari! stop!" fushiguro runs the way nomari ran towards, him and his two other companions swerved and rushed through any that were in the way. out of all three, fushiguro was the one that feared the wrath of that mother's child, it was something he would never want to witness again. cold sweat started to run down the side of his face, legs taking him as fast as he could as he dodges the last person in the crowd and stumbles out.
not just him, but kugisaki and itadori also come out with their breaths pacing. eyes fell on to the young child who without a second hesitation hugs a girl by their side. the female's black school skirt flattened in nomari's touch, her body flinching from the impact.
it wasn't the light playing tricks on their eyes, but kugisaki couldn't help but notice the attire that she wore, "isn't that our school uniform?"
"yeah, she must also be a student too." itadori blinks at the interaction, watching as the female turns to face nomari with a smile.
fushiguro felt the world slow down, his eyes fixated on the girl's white chocolate locks that sway. the curves of her body that seemed to always have been accented by anything she wore, along with the smile that would make him fall into a frenzy.
"kiyara." fushiguro whispers under his breath.
he could never push the beating heartbeat the pounded aside every time he laid eyes on her. fushiguro was not stupid, and he knew what this feeling was, but he was never one to utter a word about it.
"what are you doing all alone? does yusa-oba know you're here?" kiyara looks down at nomari, a smile easily gracing her lips and hugs her. pulling apart nomari points to the three at the side, kiyara's eyes following the direction until her amethyst hues fell upon fushiguro's charcoal orbs.
"gumi!" she exclaims and grins at him. you can tell just from her expression that she got brightener the moment she laid on eyes on him.
"'gumi'? what's with the nickname, gumi-kun?" catchin his two companions off guard, both give the boy a teasing look. their hands were in front of their mouths as they try to stop themselves from laughing. a pfft escaping their lips to see the ticked off facial fushiguro sent them.
"shut up." he snaps.
the five of them enter the aestheticly pleasing cafe, being greeted by a blonde beige barista with a smile, welcoming them into their workplace.
"welcome, would you like your usual, nomari-chan?" she asks politely as the young girl nods her head. the worker lets out a small giggle, telling them that their order will be on their way.
"i'm mizuki kiyara, nomari's cousin and an ichinen like you guys." kiyara glances at the three shamans that had finished ordering their food, making their way into a booth to sit at. nomari had sat in the middle of fushiguro and kiyara, while on the other side of them sat itadori and kugisaki.
"so does that mean you're mizuki-sensei's niece?" kugisaki asks then looks up to the waitress with a smile, thanking her for bringing them their food. kiyara answers, "yeah, she's my father's younger sister."
"when did you return from overseas?" fushiguro glances at the blonde, picking up his drink and sipping it. kiyara sturred the whip cream of her drink, "a few hours ago, she stayed behind though. saying something about studying with yuta-san."
"i see." he responds plainfully. itadori and kugisaki stare at the three of them, even though there was a small silence between all of them, it was comfortable. but they still couldn't help but be curious about the other student that was going to join them.
"so you two must be the ones gojo-san picked up." kiyara says, putting down her drink down, she suddenly covered nomari's ears. "god, he's such a shit show."
"actually... mari should be studying now, but seeing that she's here, i kinda guessed gojo-san had something to do with it." taking her hands off, fushiguro sighs and comments boredly to why she had to swear in front of the girl.
"why would mimi-chan be studying now? isn't she going to go to school?" kugisaki raises a brow, eating one of the cookies she ordered.
"she can't. that's why she's homeschooled by yusa-oba, sometimes me, yaga-san and gojo-san." kiyara explains, glancing at her cousin with sincerity as she continued to eat the slice of crepe cake they bought for her.
"so, where is he?" kiyara sips her drink.
"he went to see mizuki-sensei." itadori says.
"wait, you're kidding right?" the straw which the light blonde's fingers held on to slips down to the bottom of her glass. the smile on her face made them urge someone to say that it was just a joke, blinking a few seconds before realizing it wasn't.
"why? what's wrong?" kugisaki says between chowing on her snacks, raising a brow and dismissing it as nothing but worthless worrying.
"did he tell yusa-oba that mari was with us?" she asks once more, sipping her drink after taking a small breath in and slightly disturbed.
"he said he was going to tell mizuki-sensei." itadori cocks his head to the side, crossing his arms in confusion. he wasn't really getting it, in a matter of fact; none of them knew what kiyara was going on about.
all three thought back to their encounter with their sensei. it wasn't much that he said that concerned them, until it properly played back in their head. it clicked in; crystal clear as the sky above them on their peaceful afternoon snack trip.
they were tricked.
"wait... he never said he'd tell her." all three freeze up after learning of this discovery, staring straight back at kiyara. "he told us to bring her back before she finds out..."
before anyone else could react, fushiguro was the first to run after kiyara when she slammed her tip down on the table and dashed. it took a few blinks for the latter to realize what was happening, he too, had to stop the events that was highly possibly would unfold.
itadori and kugisaki gave each other a confused glance, for some odd reason they felt the tension those two emitted. in seconds time they quickly shot up and started running after the two of them which were most likely heading back to the school.
nomari heaves a sigh as she watched all four ichinen run out to stop a potential fight. she sat there, finishing the rest of her crepe cake and sipped the remainder of her frappé. her hand reached out to the pocket of her dress, grabbing the small cute notebook which had a drawn cover.
she flipped through the pages of her notebook, ripping a piece of paper and placing it down on the table. after doing so nomari got up and started to walk herself back to the school, she didn't mind the fact that the ones looking after her left in a haste.
the waitress witnessed the young child leave through the door after smiling at a customer when they received their order, curious she turns her head to look at the table. her feet takes her towards the place nomari once sat with the high school students only to see the paper which she left.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"HERE, IT'S FROM YOUR SISTER." mizuki reaches out to gojo who passes by the hallway of the dorms. she was in her normal clothing, her off day. a dark blue sweater engulfs her body along with the black jeans and hair that was tied in a mess with a single clip. she took a few steps to catch up the male that walked pass her room.
"huh? what is it." gojo turns to face her, taking in her homey look before inspecting the white paper bag in her hands. mizuki brings it out for the sorcerer to grab as she straightens up her posture.
"she's doing well, she talked a lot about you when i visited." she explains and exhales softly, catching her breath after having a hectic schedule.
"my giri no ani and nephew?" gojo takes the bag and looks through the contents which his sister had brought him from overseas.
"he's still capable of protecting them and safe delivery to onee-san." she puts her hand on her hip, a defeated smile to see how after all these years there was still that small distrust he felt towards his in-law. 'what an overgrown protective goof.'
"snacks, photos and... a letter?" he grabs out the small white envelope for both of them to see.
"letter?" mizuki repeats after him and watches as he opens up the envelope to read what was written inside. seeing that her job to deliver the presents that his sister had bought for him, her presence there was no longer needed. it's not as if he also would share what was the contents in the letter either, so mizuki went to take her leave.
"alright, your turn." gojo hums.
"what?" mizuki snaps back, turning her head to face him after her hand just reached her doorknob. gojo walks towards the short figure, "where's my souvenir?"
"what?" she asks once again, she had to know that he was messing around because, well, this is gojo we're talking about. her face scrunched up her nose, filling her expression with confusion and mild taste of shock when he didn't respond in the next seconds that he was joking.
"you heard me, mizuki fuyusame." gojo stands tall in front of her figure, to the point mizuki had to stretch her neck more than usual to see his blindfolded face. he let's out a small chuckle as he watches her expression transition into a scowl.
'ugh, i hate being called by my full name.' it wasn't something gojo would do often, but he did have a knack for annoying the other sensei of their school. "what makes you think i bought anything for you?"
"our precious yukihana told me so." he takes a step back, smirking mischievously as he watches mizuki's face start to slowly pale as dust of pink appear on her cheeks. "then again, you never give them to me and just keep them stuffed in your closet."
'that's why all the souvenirs i buy disappear. it was mari's doing.' mizuki's palm lands on her forehead, causing strands of her hair to fall on to her face. she really needed to fix her appearance right now, but dismissed that fact. groaning, she looks straight at gojo with full confidence.
"i didn't buy you anything, now leave me alone." clasping her hand onto her hair clip, she releases her silky brown locks so it would fall down her waist, stuffing the clamp into her hoodie's pocket. mizuki's wrist turns to open her door and leave, that was until gojo catches her attention.
"are you sure about that? what's this then." he holds up a light beige button up shirt in front of her, making her turn to look back at him. eyes went wide the moment it fell on the article, reaching out for the shirt only for him to bring it higher to a point which she couldn't reach.
"that's for me!" mizuki tries to jump up for the shirt, it was still too high for her to reach. 'stupid tall bastard!'
"mens size?" he hums out. mizuki who had given up trying to take back the shirt took a step back, crossing her arms and staring at the blindfolded man, "clothes have no gender. what does it being in the mens section have anything to do with what i wear?"
"how about wearing my shirts next then?" he took a step closer to mizuki as he plants a hand beside her head, trapping her between the suddenly closed door and his body. the smirk on his face was once more teasing the female, one which she quickly mirrored back.
"the same one you're wearing that's going to have a hole in it?" mizuki's hand gently laid atop gojo's chest, above his heart as she inches her face closer to his. her lips even centimeters away from touching his, tension built up.
"my pleasure, but let me kill you first."
"you never cease to give me chills."
⠀⠀⠀⠀"as much as i would love to stay and watch your teamwork flourish, i got some business to attend to." gojo grins and waves his hand to his four students who stare at him.
their mission was around the outskirts of shizuoka prefecture, many said that there were paranoia activity happening in the abandoned school building just right behind them. this was the mission mizuki had mentioned that day before.
"fuck off, you just didn't wanna be here for this mission." kiyara quickly swears at her sensei, eyes and lips flat as she knew this was just some sort of facade for the said man so he could go sugar hunting. if anything, she was confused exactly how he didn't develope diabetes yet with his sweet tooth.
"bingo! but you're all more than capable of clearing a grade two mission." gojo gives them a thumbs up along with his grin to brighten up their gloomy atmosphere.
to say the least the weather was completely terrible. rain clouds were approaching to the point it looked like even a storm was brewing, despite the fact it was morning. they were going to kill off curses in a shady abandoned school, to top it off, their sensei was irresponsible and decided he would leave his students up to the task as he goes to buy souvenirs while they could possibly die.
all was so dandy for him.
"i'm going to seriously punch you." fushiguro declares.
"anyways, i'll be back to pick you four up." turning on his heels he waves out to them.
"we got this. just go do whatever the hell you want and by the time you get back here, we'll already be out eating ramen." kiyara mirrors his actions, walking past her colleagues and towards the building.
"oh? is that some sort of encouragement for your classmates?" gojo glances behind him, looking to see any sort of reaction from her or even the rest of his students.
"no," stopping a few steps from her three classmates, she turns her head back to lock eye contact with her sensei ( or so she hoped she did ) and sends a smile. "just a fact."
'wow, she's either really confident or really stupid.' kugisaki furrows her brows at kiyara, she knew her opinion on her was a questionable one. but then again, maybe this was how all tokyo girls acted. she never really could put a certain thought on her.
"let's go." fushiguro was the first to follow her lead, the two catching up to them as they entered the building.
"this is one creepy school." kiyara states as she inspects the dark halls. her eyes look around to see if there were any curses that were lingering, while fushiguro's divine dogs continue to sniff them out.
"it's abandoned for a reason." fushiguro comments back at kiyara who lets a nervous giggle out.
"so, what was up with this place again?" itadori watches as shivers run down his spine, witnessing kiyara throw a dagger straight into fourth grade curse head without blinking an eye. both him and kugisaki give each other glances, this was different than the kiyara they first met.
"missing teens that would dare each other to come, appearently screams at night and moving shadows. the basics." picking up the cursed dagger on the wall after disposing of the curse, she slid it back by her right thigh.
"there's not a lot of curses here." kugisaki looks throughout the place, she too, threw a nail and slammed it with her hammer to exorcise a low grade curse.
"isn't this is a grade two mission?" itadori ponders and stares through ruined classroom windows, desks were broken and was completely dusted. 'probably been over fifteen years since someone last used this place...'
"it's in the gym." their advances came to a stop, fushiguro's divine dogs growling and barking at the door sealed with chains in front of them. itadori was the first to react, walking forwards and effortlessly kicking the metal door with ease. both doors fly across the gym auditorium causing dust to fly around the dimly lit room.
"what the hell does he eat?!" kiyara's mouth drops, kugisaki standing behind her also adds on, "right?! that isn't normal! it's freakishly weird! to top it off he chomped down sukuna fingers!"
"it was only backed up with aluminum metal and it's just old." itadori turns around and gives them a blank look, blinking as he scratches the nape of his neck.
"like hell that changes anything!" they scream.
"help me! please!" their eyes dart to a high school girl, one that seemed to be older than them. even in the dark, they can see the tint of blue that coloured her hair. a curse was holding her by the neck while their nail was stabbing through her waist.
"it has a hostage!" fushiguro screams out as all four of them run in only to be greeted with multiple lower grade curses.
"the gym's infested!" kugisaki brings out more of her nails, itadori grabbing hold of his slaughter demon as kiyara takes out her daggers.
"yuji, you're with me!" kiyara grabs hold of the pinkett's foresleeve and makes him dash with her towards the hostage.
"wait!ー huh? why are they suddenly fighting each other?" itadori stares at the scenes where a few curses had start to fight and destroy each other, confusing him. "is this your jujutsushiki?"
"faded." kiyara and itadori quickly split when a curse separates them, but suddenly it got confused when they 'disappeared' from it's sight. in complete sync the teenagers cut each arm off from both sides and sliced it in half before continuing.
"it let's me to make illusions and change my presence." she threw her daggers at the head of curse causing it to fly back, as itadori did the finishing touches by slicing it by the fingers and thrusting his weapon right through.
"that's pretty cool!" he grins and catches the hostage that fell into his arms, she instinctively wrapped her limbs around his body as itadori carried her bridal style.
"thank you so much... i was so scared." the girl hugs on to itadori, tears seeping through her deep forest hues as he crouches down on the floor, setting her to the ground. "you'll be fine now, onee-san."
'wait, this seems too easy...' kiyara picks up her daggers which were indented on the floor of the gym, throwing it once more for a curse to fade away. she felt something wrong with the scenery, like something was missing from the big picture.
'something's off.' she wasn't the only one that felt different about this mission, kugisaki and fushiguro were unsettled about the amount of low grade curses which grouped together.
'my shikigamo are still picking up curses, but where?' fushiguro watches as his one dog chewed the remaining corpse of a curse, the other growling in attack mode. he raises his brow, looking towards the direction it was barking at.
his eyes fell on itadori, kiyara and the girl they saved. he saw the tears which fell to the floor which glistened through the gloomy room. but from closer inspection, something moved around them, chains started to move.
"shit! she's a cursed spirit!" fushiguro screams to their direction as his heart starts to pound, no, no. eyes widen when his connected with kiyara's amethyst hues that were only filled with late realization. he tries to run to them, hand out to try and grasp her body.
"smart cookie, aren't ya?"
