DU™️ #Repost @byrkelou ・・・ I love working from my tiny Berlin home + studio. It is a quiet place and allows for all the focus and calmness I need to produce work. For my new work “jxj” I chose a mix of space sounds mixed with field recordings, which I alienated by adding effects and time-stretching to represent the warped and morphed potential universe of “jxj”. For my last work “ixi” I also cut up and integrated the AI layers of my tracks “Free” and “Earth” (link to tracks on YouTube in bio). For the Mixing of my sounds I often work with @victorvanvugt who is the best person to work with I could ever imagine. Not everything I release is a final polished mix, my finished tracks on “bayes” are. (Wait for the last tracks 🪸✨). Especially for my fine art works such as “jxj” ans “ixi” I keep my experimental approach to sound and tear things apart repeatedly, resynthesize and layer. Some more on all this soon.
