As he recalled, Jack had gifted the royal something similar before his memories had fragmented. When they returned to him, he peered at his golden gift, enjoying the melody.  Therefore, this Christmas, holding the scarf that the Vessalius gave him a year ago, he presented a pristine wrapped gift (with amazingly perfect edges and ribbons!) to his beloved. "For you, Jack." His smile was soft and warm as he watched gloves hands unwrap it so painstakingly. Tettere eagerly eyed how his fingers threaded over the golden chain. His new pocket watch was engraved with a rose, playing a haunting, quiet tune that belonged in nothing short of a fairy tale. "Happy Christmas, my dear."

Fingertips run across the designs of the golden gift. Emerald green eyes look silently over every detail until he flips it open, listening to the composed tune playing. For a moment he is melancholy to recieve the gift. He naturally attaches something of this magnitude to his past that chained and bound him. However, when gloved touch runs across the engraved rose, he realizes that this is not a token meant for him in malice. He bears the prince in blue with a look of gratitude and appreciation, smiling faintly and thanking him in a soft tone for this gift. Likewise, he apologizes for his lack of a returned gesture. The Vessalius mentions that he will make it up to Tettere, intends to see that through.

With a lightly exhaled breath, Jack tucks his newly presented pocket watch carefully into his coat, using now free hands to playfully pinch at the younger blond's cheeks prior to squishing them together. He laughs at such a silly expression forced onto the regal's features. It's endearing regardless, and the curl of his lips is a genuine one, as is the sincerity in the tone in his voice.

❝Thank you, dear Tettere. I'll certainly take care of this precious gift from you.❞

Being unable to lie, to someone like Jack Vessalius, was a living nightmare. 

Not to say that his current life, day to day, was not a nightmare. He was trapped in his own personal hell as it was. He would spend his days trying to find ways to pass the time, to talk to anyone he could, to fill the time so he would simply not be left alone with his thoughts. At night however, the previous comfort of sharing a bed with Tettere was no longer attainable to him. So he would have no choice but to lay awake.

He would spend that time thinking. It was unfortunate.

For all that Jack Vessalius ever thought about was the past.

He wondered if this too, was punishment. For who he was, or rather...for what he was. Jack supposed he deserved it. He didn't particularly care enough to feel bad about what he had done, or more accurately to say, he didn't feel. He tried not to. He couldn't allow himself to feel anything else anymore. Ah, but in a challenge such as this...he felt...scared. Nervous, perhaps?

❝It's impossible.❞

He said this, though he was just abiding by the challenge really. He was being honest. Hiding away in his apartment bedroom, arms folded across his chest as he rather listlessly glanced outside. On any other day, he would be out there about, talking and being around others -- but all he could do today was hide. Hide out of fear that he would encounter someone and they would ask him questions that he had to answer honestly.

Of course, he didn't seem to realize that there was someone close by that would do just what he feared. Perhaps he did, deep down inside and just didn't want to think of it. Another sigh parted his lips and he tensed up, muttering under his breath.

❝It's really impossible.❞

He really was just being honest.

He likes reading stories about families. He wishes his family worked better. It's sort of massively dysfunctional. He likes seeing happy families, too, not the sort that are ripped apart by circumstance like the pair in the AB Game.

He thinks they're pretty, but he's never understood why people like their smell so much. But they're so pretty. Look at them. So many colors. He wishes they had flowers back home. (The smell thing might be because he can't smell anything in the suit. Sometimes he considers taking it off and trying to smell them. But he doesn't really want to get sick again or be recognized again.)

if jehanne was to be summoned in a normal situation, such as answering the calls of a participating master in order to try to obtain the grail, she would have the qualifications to be summoned into that of the saber class.

during her campaigns she would usually eat a few slices of bread with a goblet of wine before going to bed rather than eating a lot. it is ironic that she needs to actually eat due to prana issues unless she were to make a contract/get it in some other form.

there are accounts of jehanne having an infamous temper, especially when her piety and virginity were ever questioned.

one ooc fact:

i have no idea if this means about me or about her uh aalkj mun likes to take time to read into the histories of her characters before taking them up. sometimes it might take weeks to a month or so until i feel fully comfortable with what i’ve learned where i can feel like i portray them!
