This year has been full of time spent pushing myself to do more. I have composed for films, tv, and worked with so many great artists. I did an album with @stsisgold ( #betteronasunday ), and went on tour at the top of 2018. My album Braving was my final project this year and I couldn’t be happier with what I’ve accomplished. This video is from a show I did opening for @vatoben at the @moroccanlounge playing with my good friend @davecohenmusic. As this year closes, I feel emboldened to do even more in 2019. Not just by myself but collaborating with others will be a priority — @luca.erozer let’s go!!!! (more info next year lol) What’s next, new challenges & opportunities, is what I’ve always been about. I know it will be just as hard to accomplish new goals moving forward, but I’m really seeing the beauty of my inner struggles reconciling with the external promoted expectations. Keeping that inner vs. outer balance in check is my only expectation for myself throughout the upcoming year. “Love and Fear” is what I call it on my album, and it’s the perfect way for me to continue on this journey. Thank you to everyone that has had a hand in my success and sanity. Early this year @stsisgold and I dropped #betteronasunday We went on tour all across the states and had a blast opening for @bustyandthebass. During that tour there was a point in the show when we stripped everything back to just @byjordanbrown STS and me on guitar. It made for a really fun and intimate moment on stage. We decided when we got back to Cali we would do our favorite songs acoustic. Today is the release of that album “Better On A Sunday Evening”. It’s for those chill nights but you still what that #hiphop flavor. We have the day off to reflect on the last two shows and It’s already been a pleasure. The first performance of the new record was awesome!! @jaminthevan is a must do for artist! The people are very professional and courteous! It reminded me of the 9:30 club in D.C.
