Inktober 2023 ; Day 1/31

Day 1 : Dream / Rêve

"Oh, my ! Sorry, I didn't noticed how close I was to the border of the hilll. I suppose I was too amazed by the beauty of the ruins.

Yes, I love ruins that is why I aim to become an archaeologist."

This was what Sophie said when we were first introduced to her in Beyblade Metal Masters. Yep it was her first words.

So this drawing represents her dream fully coming true, as she has an archaeologist outfit.

Also yes : I've decided to do Minimalist Art for this Inktober because this is something that I absolutely loves to do ♥

anyways team excalibur 🛐 fantastic choice alexis these guys are fun

-sophie and wales have modeled for fashion magazines. they’re very popular in their respective countries and have garnered a reputation outside of beyblade (nowhere near as big as julian’s but alas)

-unlike the other three klaus actually came from a more middle-class background. he’s not used to the luxury his teammates have accustomed to. listen he may respect his teammates in beyblade but he sometimes internally rolls his eyes at all the rich people stuff they do

-wales has a big sweet tooth that he vehemently keeps secret. he loves pastries in particular and his teammates would gift him fresh pastries whenever they meet up. he acts all snooty and polite but immediately eats them when their backs are turned

-klaus is the only one who knows how to decently cook. he sometimes cooks meals for the team to celebrate victories :)

-julian worries a lot abt the way he treats his team after masters. he has a lot of anxiety abt doing something that might make them leave or that he’s pushing them away again. which in turn only makes him close himself off more. get this man some therapy and medication ☹️

Beyblade 30 Day Challenge - Day 5

Question - Favourite female character?

Metal Saga answer: Much easier than the boys question, Sophie of Excalibur. I can't put my finger on it, but her personality just exudes likeability. I like her intro scene on a cliff edge with the oceanic archaeology (the shipwreck White Grand Cetus uncovers) and she does very well complementing and counteracting Wales, which helps make them so great as a duo. Much like all of Excalibur, she was utterly convinced that Konzern was undefeatable to the point of near-arrogance until they saw it for themselves and only a "it can't be!" could come out, but this only acted as a spur for further effort and improvement. Wonderful voice and looks too. Her (and Wales') dynamic with Julian Konzern (and Klaus) is my favourite in all the Metal Saga. The Fallen Emperor is my favourite Beyblade episode ever partially because of this. She would fit as a gem out of Land of the Lustrous, 'cause she's one half of a twin jewel (I regret nothing).

Burst answer: Again, easier than the boys question. I've gone with Gumita, the only enjoyable member of the Wild Bey Gang. She always seems uninterested but willing nevertheless which helps towards having a personality I both like and can somewhat relate to, something I value a lot. Sort of reminds me of myself. The Battleship Cruise Arc was her at prime when she along with Tobisuke stowed away to back gang leader Ranjiro Kiyama. Good thing Kristina Kuroda didn't kick them (and Naru Akabane) off. That one hat scene wasn't shabby either and the much deserved unbridled fury against Suoh Genji was just hilarious.

I should point out that voice and looks contribute to my favourite bey boys selection too. That's how Faust almost dethroned Damian as best bey boy in my mind.

Had a convo that somehow spiralled into gamer Wales with cat headphones.

I like to think he and Sophie wear matching headphones and they stream together. Julian donates to his stream with a totally inconspicuous username, and Klaus is his discord moderator except he actually does his job properly.
