Finally did a bit of a character sheet for my durge kismet

Shadowheart’s slow, sensuous stripping of her clothes—tunic pulled overhead, then the unclipping of her brassiere, revealing her most excellent breasts—does make him a little dizzy, even a little shy. Not all because of her body, mind. A rather large part of it is due to the expectation that he is to follow suit. “So,” Shadowheart says, as she smooth-steps her way to him, within a fingertip’s distance. Now, he could reach out to touch her, and carve his palm down the smooth slope of her curves. But that would be unfair, considering how… “It’s your turn now.” Right. Uh. Yes. It is, rather tragically, his turn.

You know, if BG3 is a dating sim, a lot of dating sims have a childhood best friend who's a little obsessed with you? Not usually the most interesting option to pick, most people want the cool bad boy, but...

Gortash should be a funny little subversion of that trope, kind of like Astarion is the subversion of the suave, confident sexy bad boy trope.

He's obsessed with you, if you're playing the Dark Urge anyway, and it's not sweet, it is Just Monica levels of deranged.

Just pretend he and the Dark Urge used to know each other as kids, running around Baldur's Gate, and then BAM, instant childhood best friend option, but with that great twist of, wow, you became evil villains together.

What wicked kismet. Surprise, your sweet puppy love was strangled in its crib, you two are still stroking its fur together, you killed what was soft and sweet about the two of you, long ago, but at least you did it together.

I didn't see every possible response Abdirak, worshiper of Loviatar, can give; I based my review on what I saw in my own first run. There are a number of issues with the situation in which you encounter him, the lack of safe words, and so on. This isn't a real-world character with fully realistic considerations. But after decades of seeing kink portrayed poorly in media in many ways, I appreciated a number of things about how this character is portrayed in this scene.

she was a normal girl, in a normal town, who fell for someone who was altogether, a normal person. they were in love for a good portion of her mortal life, give or take 5+ years from when she was a young girl to an adult woman. they became deathly ill ( one might even say, magically so... ) before they had the chance to marry, and isvir started out to find a solution in faerun, sure that someone, somewhere would have an answer to her prayers. she found solace in the life domain, seeking answers. she had heard of it being used to grant clerics their powers, perhaps it would expand her options. but what she was given was not a solution more as it was her own fate. her love was destined to die, and she was destined to bargain for their life in exchange. predictably she did so, not knowing the true consequences for her actions. thinking she'd owe the gods a favor or two, she agreed to whatever stipulations had been presented and delightfully, her partner was spared from their destiny. not that she got to revel in this, being that as soon as they were healed, she was taken away back to the life domain, forced to take responsibility and give what was owed - her eternal commitment and place among the other deities, a new goddess. she fought for this some time, fought against the chains of her own kismet, until the very same one she had traversed endless miles for, sacrificed her mortality for, betrayed her in the simplest of ways - moving on. nearly immediately, which shattered her resolve and left her with nothing to cling to other her responsibilities. so she finally accepted her position, and it's where she has remained for hundreds of years. tldr about her love interest i think would be an interesting character wink wink, i would like to assume they moved on and found a way to surpass mortality which would be truly a miserable existence for isvir as i think they grew bitter that she left them despite knowing the sacrifice she made. soo... interesting things there. as of bg3 timeline, isvir was making a trip to check up on her ex lover in her human guise and was captured thereafter by the illithid ship and got tadpoled, which bound her to her human form in a more permanent fashion. being that she is a celestial, she is resistant to some of the tadpole effects, but not all. prior to this she did visit in her human form to offer her assistance, so i will be keeping the idea that she was a farmhand, but just less consistent then normal.
