PAST:

As a child, Nihar came from a rich family. Their parents themselves were not originally rich but came up in the world. When their parents were lost to a car crash, it was up to their eldest brother to handle the family situations but he made a bad deal. Despite their elder brothers being taller, they could take them down easily and was quick on their feet. They were fifteen (15) when they started pickpocketing, sixteen (16) when they moved on to bigger things: robbing houses, twenty (20) when they went even further.

They passed whatever skills they could over to their siblings, doing jobs with both them and other groups, never revealing enough to lead anyone back to them. They'd become good at hiding the truth in those eleven (11) years and even better at sussing it out. Thief they may have been but their main trade was secrets. With a deserved confidence, they pulled off a successful heist with an ex partner (as a goodbye), enough to get them all on a flight to Australia.

Nihar was from a big family, simultaneously loud and quiet, speaking when required and listening to everything. A Quick Infodump on Why India Has Two Distinct Categories of Languages - Or Why I Don’t Speak “Indian”

So I’m half Indian, and I get asked all the time if I speak ‘Indian.’ And every time, I explain that no, there is no such thing as Indian, in fact there are hundreds of languages spoken in India. I got curious one day, and ended up doing a bunch of research about it. 

Many of the languages natively spoken in northern India have scripts that look like this:  Hindi: हिंदी Punjabi: ਪੰਜਾਬੀ Bhojpuri: भोजपुरी Maithili: मैथिली Dogri: मैथिली 

In case the scripts nor image show up, they are various forms of the same family of languages, they all have vertical lines coming from a horizontal line at the top. There are also various curves and swirls, but it is mostly made of lines. 

However, more of the languages nativly spoken in southern India have scripts that look like this:  Telegu: తెలు��ు Tamil: தமிழ் Kannada: ಕನ್ನಡ Malayalam: കന്നഡ

In case neither the scripts nor the image load, they are all from the same family but are more diverse than before, all are swirly and curvy, and look very different than the others. 

Here’s the kicker: They have existed around each other for a ridiculously long time. When languages live around each other for so long, their scripts and dialects flow into and out of each other. That’s why you have two groups that seem more similar (this is seen throughout the world, a good example is with Slavic Europe). However, all of that begs the question: why don’t they blend? 

As it turns out, there is a ‘tribal belt’ in the middle of India that creates this divide. In it lives the small groups of people who live independently, which means their languages stay unique. Some of those languages are literally spoken by less than 100 people. 

Because of this tribal band of languages, the southern dialects, also called the Dravidian languages (or sometimes Dravidic), stayed separate from the Indro-Aryan languages. This happens because, instead of the languages flowing into each other, people would switch as they passed through the middle region.

Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, has announced the exam dates for 3rd year students. The notice for Magadh University Part 3 exam date 2019 for BA, B.Sc, B.Com has been put up on the university notice boards. Date of theory as well as practical exam are available.

Pictures of the exam date notice, taken by students from their notice boards, have been shared over social media. More students have come to know about their schedule this way and are now waiting for their admit cards. As per the notice, Magadh University will conduct exam for third year students in September and October. The time table is divided into three parts.

First, the university explains schedule for BA, B.Sc, B.Com part 3 Hons students. Their exams will be held on the following dates: September 21, September 23, September 24, September 25, September 26, September 27, September 28, September 30, October 01, October 03.

Exam will be held in two sittings on each day in September. First sitting will be 10 am to 1 pm, and second will be 2 pm to 5 pm. Subjects for the purpose of exam are divided into four groups namely A, B, C, D.

For BA, B.Sc, B.Com part 3 Hons students, group A subjects are physics, history, economics, electronics, statistics, LSW, rural economics, buddhist studies, public administration, music. Whereas group B subjects are political science, mathematics, sociology. Then group C subjects comprise of botany, zoology, commerce, psychology, home science, AI and AS, philosophy, chemistry. Finally the group D subjects are geography, hindi, english, urdu, maghi, arabic, maithili, pali, persian, bengali, bhojpuri, prakrit, sanskrit.

The second part of the exam date notice is about BA, B.Sc, B.Com part 3 general exam. Exam dates for these programs are: September 21, September 23, September 24, September 25, September 26, September 27, September 28, September 30, October 01. The same sittings, first and second, will apply for these programs as well.

Third part of the exam date notice is for BS, B.Sc, B.Com part 3 practical exam. Practical exams will be held from October 10 to October 14.

Admit card for the exams are expected to be issued via magadhuniversity.ac.in. Usually they are published under the download zone, where candidates can download the admit cards by name and father’s name, or registration number and roll number. Students can check with their colleges regarding the same.
