🤔 WHAT IS SAT SUPERSCORE?
Your SAT Superscore is the total of your highest scores on each test section.
For example: Let’s say you scored a 630 on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing test and a a 710 on the Math test the first time you took the SAT. On your second try, let’s say you scored a 650 in EBRW and a 700 on Math. Your Superscore would be the total of your highest scores on each section, which would amount to a total score of 1360 (650 plus 710).
Sounds good, right? Superscoring is great, but keep in mind that while many colleges and universities count applicants’ SAT Superscores, many others do not. And remember, Superscores only come into play if you take the SAT more than once (which you should do, if you can).
Some use the Superscore for admission decisions but request to see all of each applicants’ test scores in order to create a more holistic picture of each candidate. That’s why, depending on where you’re applying, it may be important not to take the test too many times.
Some others will only consider your single highest total SAT score. In the example above, that would be a 1350, the total score of the second test.
If you are unsure of a school’s policies regarding score submission, check out College Board’s BigFuture site. Admission policies do change regularly, so also make sure to double check the “application requirements” section of each university and college website at the beginning of your application cycle (the fall of the year you’ll be applying to college).
✏️ HOW TO USE IT
For schools that do accept Superscores, you should use College Board’s Score Choice tool, which allows you to send only your highest scores to colleges and universities. And be sure to read this post on taking the SAT more than twice for advice on strategizing your test-taking and score submission.

The PSAT 10 and the PSAT/NMSQT both have a score range of 320–1520. Learn more about PSAT 10 scores. All four tests in the SAT Suite of Assessments measure the same knowledge and skills students need for college in ways that make sense for each grade level. Read more about the SAT Suite. PSAT 10 testing accommodations are available for students with disabilities. See how to request accommodations. Taking the PSAT 10 doesn’t qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Some schools charge students a fee to take the PSAT 10, but many don’t. There are no PSAT 10 fee waivers. Frequently Asked Questions Can ninth graders take the PSAT 10? Yes. Any student can arrange to take the PSAT 10 at a school that offers it. However, we recommend eighth and ninth graders take the PSAT 8/9. The PSAT 8/9 tests the same skills and knowledge as the PSAT 10 but in a way that’s appropriate for eighth and ninth graders. Do students have to write an essay on the PSAT 10? No, the PSAT 10 does not have an essay. Can homeschooled students take the PSAT 10? Yes. Homeschooled students can contact a local school and arrange to take the PSAT 10 there. Search for schools that are planning to administer the PSAT 10 this school year. According to an August 10 announcement from the Fellowship of Ethereum Magicians, a self-organized gaggle of Ethereum developers, the group will meet up for its Council of Prague in the days leading up to the global Ethereum developer conference Devcon4. This event is the last of the fellowship's triannual, in-person gatherings, preceded by the Council of Paris in March (alongside the Ethereum Community Conference) and the Council of Berlin in July. The magicians will gather unconference-style, i.e., based around the informal exchange of information and ideas among participants. The author of the announcement, Boris Mann, notes that the goings-on of this gathering will be "specifically different" than those of Devcon4. Members of rings (the fellowship's working groups concerned with particular topics) and Ethereum improvement proposal (EIP) authors can work together at the Council of Prague to make progress on various EIPs and Ethereum requests for comment (ERCs). The fellowship also has a wiki agenda available via GitHub where magicians and other Ethereum community members can help build the gathering's schedule and publicly list their attendance, if desired. Working sessions will be separated into slots that are a few hours long. A relatively new group, the fellowship was assembled by Ethereum players Jamie Pitts and Greg Colvin "to maximize technical opportunities, share ideas and work together effectively, online and in person, across national, organizational and other boundaries" regarding the advancement of the network's improvement process, like through EIPs and ERCs. Pitts, Colvin, and Mann all appeared at the most recent Ethereum Core Devs meeting to discuss the group's mission, vision, values, and work. In addition to hosting the Council of Prague, the Czech capital will also be the site of the Status hackathon from October 26-28 and the Decentralized Insurance Developer Conference on October 29. #eth #ethereum #devcon4 #crypto #bigfuture #crypto_community (at New Delhi)
