i think that the idea of a kit being named after a feature, only to have it No Longer Be A Feature when theyre an adult is underutilized like, imagine you have a BIG baby. u name him bigkit. he grows up to be a kind of normal sized adult and then youre like... then what.............. bigheart, bigleaf, bigpool, all really random suffixes to be like "um well! youre not BIG, but.." same with small but smallheart would be an insanely cruel name

Junkclan Moon 38 - Newleaf

Important Events:

Cloverbloom tred confessing their feelings to Hawkchase but was rejected.

Daisysnarl's stomachache is gone.

Cloverbloom's bruises have at least healed!

Patrols:

Jadestalk takes Robinflight, Wrentongue, Butterflypaw and Mothpaw on patrol, and they come across a small dog. Wrentongue's attempts to drive it off fail..

As Qubodapple goes hunting by themself, she comes across the tall structures of Junkclan's territory, a low hum irradiating from the area.. she does not find any prey.

Rueclash goes training by himself in the deeper parts of Junkclan's large camp/territory, but gets stuck in a cave in. He manages to struggle his way out, escaping with only the chance of new nightmares.

Morningsting suggests to the patrol to pratice new hunting techniques, and Daisysnarl takes Charge and coordinates exercises fro the patrol. They begin sharing tips on different terrain, while Chaffinchheart silently wonders what Morningsting and Ferretstreak could be up to..

It was going to be a momentous day in the quiet camp of CoyoteClan. The start of leaf-fall has been known to bring about many new changes for the clans, some good, some bad. But all in all, it is a time for transformation, growth, and appreciation for one’s family. In this sense one’s family is also their clanmates. The youth of CoyoteClan embodies these three things currently, for they are ready to take the next step to serve within their clan.

Today was the day, the day the kits GreenKit, BigKit, and BrightKit would become apprentices. The three kits had been close since birth, being the bestest of friends for the past six months. Now it was time for the trio to continue their journey as apprentices of CoyoteClan. The clan was buzzing with excitement as dusk neared, it was a custom in CoyoteClan to do so at such a time, for the light framed the clan’s large stump that the leader used to address her clan.

Though out of all the excited and enthusiastic cats within the clan, no cat was more excited then FerretPaw, the trio’s older friend by only one moon. He had been an apprentice for a moon now and was awfully lonely, though his mentor, PartridgeHollow, allowed for frequent visits to the nursery it still didn’t satisfy the young tom’s want of running through the woods with his generation. But now, he’d have three friends to sneak about with. He found his way to the clan’s nursery, having snuck away from one of his apprentice tasks to go check in on the soon-to-be apprentices.

He’d creep his way towards the entrance of the nursery, his paws light and silent against the camp’s leafy floor. He’d burry a chuckle as he’d ready himself. With a yowl of ‘attack’, he’d lunge into the nursery paws forward, wanting to spook the kits. Though he’d do a bit more than just spook, for his paws would meet the black pelt of GreenKit. The two young toms would go tumbling across the nursery floor, bumping into a nearby wall of rock. “Sorry! You weren’t supposed to be right in front of the entrance, GreenKit!” FerretPaw would apologize, rising off of the squashed GreenKit whom would groan under the older tom’s weight.

GreenKit would stay sprawled out upon the mossy floor, woozily groaning. “Goodness me, it appears I’ve been smushed by the great weight of FerretPaw! My lungs will never recover…” He’d whine dramatically, his paw placed on his chest where his lungs were located. FerretPaw would snicker with an eye roll towards his dramatic friend and would help him up. “You’re over exaggerating! I don’t weigh that much, mousebrain!” He’d tease to his black pelted friend, obviously knowing that he had been joking about his lungs being damaged. “I know,” GreenKit would chuckle, “But you know who does weigh a ton? BigKit!” He’d burst laughing, referring to the tallest and overall largest adolescent cat of the clan.

FerretPaw would laugh halfly, not fully comfortable about commenting on another cat’s weight, especially his friend’s. He’d quickly glance around to see if BigKit was in the den with them…luckily she was not, though neither was BrightKit. Which brought his question of, “Have you seen Bright and Big, GreenKit?” He’d ask. “How could you not see a BigKit?” GreenKit would joke, snickering. FerretPaw would show he was unamused as his face furrowed. “Fine, fine. I’m not sure where they are but my guess would be near the stump, preparing for the ceremony.” He’d shrug, having a look of minor realization that he should be preparing too. FerretPaw would nod to his expression and brush his tail against GreenKit to follow, beginning to bound into a trot towards the clan’s great stump.

How does singingclan feel about having a dog in the clan and most importantly how does the leader feel about it

Singingclan is known as the most welcoming and “kind” of the clans, they are kinda like an extreme version of thunderclan in the way that they will take in pretty much any outsiders that come along. Many outside Singingclan think this makes them weak or push overs, but Singing prides themselves on it and considers it a great trait of their clan. It was really only a matter of time until someone in Singing took in a kit of another species heh…

Though that isn’t to say that all cats in the clan love having a dog in their ranks! Many don’t love it, though over time they have come to realize that Bigpaw is not going to violently attack them like an outsider dog. (Most notably, Bignose's older brother Bluedapple detests Big, due to the fact that Blue's daughter was killed by a dog shortly before Bigkit was found...)

Crestedstar herself deeply trusts and loves her sister (Bigpaw’s mom) so she trusted her judgment, despite being hesitant. And after Bigpaw saved his mom from Tempeststar she is now convinced that he deserves a place in the clan.

Learning ground Techniques  for the sport of kite fighting. Some lines have thin blades attached to the tail, line, or kite. The person who cuts the opponent's line wins the fight. In multiple kite matches, the person with the last kite in the air is the winner. The two most common types of cutting are done with abrasive coated line – release cutting or pull cutting. To release cut, once lines are in contact, both parties reel out their lines until one is cut. In pull cutting, the flier quickly pulls in the line. Winning factors include the skill of the kite flyer, size of the kite, its speed, agility and durability, the quality of the line, its sharpness, the quality and size of the spool, the spool mechanism, initial contact and wind conditions. When the kite is flown with the line taut, the kite is deformed by the wind pressure, giving it a degree of stability. When the line tension is reduced, either by letting out more line or by the flyer moving into wind, the kite will begin to become unstable and begin to rock from side to side, or in extreme cases even spin. Rueclash tells the patrol to go to Ninghtingaleclan, where they are initially met with hostility by the Militaristic- Clan cats. Bitestrikes pardons her mate and they explain the Badger situation, leaving with a good impression Nightingaleclan.

Bellini and Egretleaf go hunting and also miss a hare.
