I had to cut this page for length but I still sketched the whole thing before deciding that so I thought I would still post it!

this would have kinda been pg. 2&3 ... tbh this is probably the most interesting page but I really dont have time to fully color a page that doesnt really effect the plot at all lol

How does singingclan feel about having a dog in the clan and most importantly how does the leader feel about it

Singingclan is known as the most welcoming and “kind” of the clans, they are kinda like an extreme version of thunderclan in the way that they will take in pretty much any outsiders that come along. Many outside Singingclan think this makes them weak or push overs, but Singing prides themselves on it and considers it a great trait of their clan. It was really only a matter of time until someone in Singing took in a kit of another species heh…

Though that isn’t to say that all cats in the clan love having a dog in their ranks! Many don’t love it, though over time they have come to realize that Bigpaw is not going to violently attack them like an outsider dog. (Most notably, Bignose's older brother Bluedapple detests Big, due to the fact that Blue's daughter was killed by a dog shortly before Bigkit was found...)

Crestedstar herself deeply trusts and loves her sister (Bigpaw’s mom) so she trusted her judgment, despite being hesitant. And after Bigpaw saved his mom from Tempeststar she is now convinced that he deserves a place in the clan.

what's the planet like? I'm curious about how harsh the territory is, the different kind of threats they might run into, that sort of thing!

I am actually soooo glad you asked and I hope that answering this will help return my fervor in working on this fanclan. I'll try to keep this FAIRLY brief.

Keep in mind that I am a layman who is by no means an expert so there will be mistakes and things wrong- this is a warrior cats blog and I am NOT an expert in any way.

Now! To start things off! As you may have noticed on the character pages, our casts' residence is listed as Gliese 667Cc. This is a real planet! However, we really only know it exists because of its interactions with the other bodies in its stellar system soooo A LOT of what you'll see below is stuff that either scientists believe to be true about it or that I have made up.

The Gliese 667 is actually super interesting, it is a TRIPLE star system located in the Scorpius constellation [the stars are named A, B, and C... you see where this is going]. Planet "Vegas" aka Gliese 667Cc is a planet orbiting the star Gliese 667C and in our fictional setting it was renamed "Scorpio" by the colonists. Scorpio is a red dwarf and therefore a lot dimmer and cooler than our Sun and, because of this, the habitable zone is a lot closer to the star itself.

One of the consequences of this closeness is that Vegas is tidally locked, or in other words, the same face of the planet always faces the sun. Vegas does not rotate on it's axis the way earth does. This means ONE side of the planet is scorching hot and the other is freezing cold. The only part of the planet that is livable for human colonists is a band of twilight that lies between these extremes.

This tidal locking also means that Vegas doesn't have a day and night cycle the way one would expect. It's named after Vegas, the city that never sleeps, for a reason. While it is never fully dark, there are periods of dimmer light and brighter light. "Night" is an eternal, wine red sunset that casts the landscape in a ruddy glow. "Day" is determined by the presence of the moon as it reflects the light of the sun back down, casting everything in silver. Vegas's moon was named "Chronos" for this reason.

I have a lot of other notes and fun facts typed out in but they aren't quite as interesting to me. I've also got some fun alien critter planned for future pieces! I'll leave you with this early sketch page of cast concepts [and a suprise] as a preview of things to come.

En esta ocasión les traigo una carta que dibuje. Inicialmente me inspiré en el estilo del Tarot de Marsella de Alejandro Jodorowsky, sin embargo, en su elaboración tomó otro rumbo, más afín a mis gustos y mi estilo 🧡.

¿Cómo vives tu existencia? ¿Realmente vives? ¿Qué sientes en tu existir momento a momento? ¿Qué haces de tu vida en cada momento? Son preguntas que me vienieron al contemplar la carta recién la empezaba a elaborar. Me pone a reflexionar... 💫

Mientras la elaboraba, en algunas ocasiones escuchaba el tema "Jaguar Dreaming" de Liquid Bloom 🧡💜, aunque tambié escuché en más de una ocasión "Bosque Sagrado" de Tribu Galez 💚🌄💫.

at first i was kinda excited because i couuuuld say this was another murder thing, and then when i saw Cloudstalk listed without being mentioned i was like ??? DID CLOUDSTALK (the medicine cat) MURDER THEM??? but then i remembered Cloudstalk is Beetledawn's adoptive parent so thats probably why lol

still, Beetledawn is the Gray Sibs' older sibling by 5 moons so they were apprentices together and i think they were all very close together and this is sad :( it's sad now :(

Poor fucking Bigpaw, this is how he got banned from fights. He was fucking wrecked by this :( But also just imagine being tempest. You're bullying this women. You here her kids nearby. you imagine this just barely out of the nursey kit. Its dog slenderman.

This is why he was banned from battle! Though Singingclan was already planning on not having him join any battles to avoid any accusations from the other clans that they adopted him to be a weapon. Tbh I think before this Crested and Marigold hoped they could keep him a secret from the other clans for as long as possible, sadly he has been revealed in the WORST way.

... this is also why Bignose doesn't like interacting with the other clans... they all fear him after seeing Tempeststar's scars at gatherings...

ALSO abt the slenderman thing- I HAD THE SAME THOUGHT LOL

At one point when coming up with this i thought to myself "would Tempeststar really lose a fight to a 7month old Bignose?" And the answer was yes, if she was taken completely off guard and was surprised with a fucking long beast when she thought she was just facing a little apprentice 💀

Woman was frozen in shock, tempest couldn't fight back.

Saludos a todos ^w^/! En esta ocasión les comparto mi versión de Rhóhnʌ al estilo de Pokémon de la Game Boy Color. Las imágenes de los entrenadores eran de 56 x 56 píxeles, la misma proporción del recuadro donde se encuentra mi fursona 🧡.

Antes ya había subido arte con él así, pero en esta ocasión, le quise dedicar un lienzo únicamente para él, a modo de referencia en el cual habite la sencillez. Pues seguramente lo utilizaré en futuros proyectos. Además, le hice algunos ajustes en comparación a sus versiones anteriores 🍉.

He de mencionar que estos PixelArt en este estilo no reflejan la anatomía "real" (mucho menos todos sus tonos y detalles) del personaje, sino que es una simplificación, y hasta cierto punto, una caricaturización. No obstante, aun así me es divertida su elaboración ✌️😸🌄💫.
