Extension To My Previous TS Post:

So I made a post yesterday in regards to the situation. After that a few more things have come into the light and more people have spoken up in relation to the situation.

First of all some people seem to be allowing their hate for Taylor Swift to cloud their judgement of the situation. She has made it clear in the post if the haters bother to read that she did try buying her masters. Her label didn’t allow her to. What they presented her with was a trap situation, re-sign with the label and for every new album released she’d get the masters to one of her previous albums released on her first record deal. This was a clear trap, if anyone thinks this deal was and is acceptable then shame on you. Taylor Swift being the biggest star on the labels rooster was a perk that would have made the deal heighten for Scott during the sale of the label (he clearly was and is money hungry).

Scooter Braun’s wife has also since chimed in (although it is clear that he is the one behind the post), at the same time she just like Justin Bieber has said let’s talk privately rather than on social media whilst posting on social media. The hypocrisy is apparent here and people siding with Scooter and his minions are clearly doing so due to their ill intent towards Taylor Swift. The opening line of his wife’s Instagram post clarified that she didn’t read Taylor’s post. Then she went on to assume a lot of things. She said Taylor’s friends ditched her for things like this, now that isn’t the case. Those that did leave were using her as a come up, once they got what they wanted they fled (vultures is what they were). Then she talks about Kim’s situation as if Kim actually outed Taylor. In no way did she do that because that phone call recording wasn’t authentic it was edited to serve the purpose Kim wanted it to. If Kim was being honest then she’d have released the full phone conversation. Don’t try and say she was trying to not break the law because releasing snippets isn’t not breaking the law. Anyways his wife (he) went on to ramble on with twisted tales and assumptions. To a point where she tried to address what was and is so obvious that Scooter is the one behind the posts of his clients that are in his favour. She claims he isn’t in control of his clients and if he was then Taylor should control her fans. Why would Taylor have control over her fans? We all know managers often control the social media pages of the artists they manage. I mean who is Scooter trying to fool.

She even claims that Scooter Braun believes in Taylor Swift more than Taylor believe in herself. If he genuinely cared about her and Scott was the one that didn’t want to give her the masters. Scooter would have himself offered her the chance to buy her masters. However he didn’t and the very first opening of his wife’s post makes it apparent that him and Scott where working together on this plot to try and control Taylor or have ownership over her. If you can’t piece that together then you clearly are neglecting the obvious and trying to find what is not the case because of your ill-feelings towards Taylor.

Some other celebrities like Kacey Musgraves, Courtney Cox etc. Liked his wife’s post on Instagram and some of them have gone on to dislike the post. However there is no hiding from it now. You’ve shown your true feelings and just because people have questioned your authenticity behind your claims of being activitists and feminists you’ve changed your tune. Sia also commented although she didn’t saying anything on the situation she just wished Scooter Braun well and that he’d recover from the recent events soon. However that makes it apparent the side which she is taking.

On top of that one more thing has come to light and that is that Scooter Braun has been paying media outlets ($20,000) to post negative things in regards to Taylor Swift and lift his image up instead.  You’d only go to that extreme if you are in the wrong. Also another thing is in regards to Justin Bieber’s Instagram post of that FaceTime session. If Justin had posted a screenshot of his screen his image would have been the small one in the top corner and the image of the others would have been the big one. However it was the other way around which means it was a screenshot of the image from Kanye/Scooter’s phone. Again debunking Justin’s (Scooter’s) latest ‘apology’ statement where he said that Scooter supposedly told him not to joke about things like that.

Then we have some haters on twitter with verified accounts making comments about Taylor playing the victim or wanting sympathy. How can someone play the victim when they are the victim. Veronica (whatever her surname is) called Taylor a ‘cunt’ and the tweet she retweeted in regards to the situation points to her not reading Taylor’s post and blindly reacting to the situation. It says a lot about her character and what that is, is that she is a disgusting human being.

Then someone called Paul Chin also gave his unwanted and ill-informed opinion. He also tried to claim she loves playing the victim (that really isn’t the case). He then said why didn’t she buy the label instead. Again if he read the post he’d know Taylor wanted to buy her masters and if Scott didn’t want her buying the masters why’d he allow her to buy the label?. Paul then went on to link this to Taylor’s claim to want to help other artists to be unauthentic. However there is no correlation between that. Also Taylor has been helping other artists from the start of her career. She pushed for Nathan Chapman an unknown producer at the time to produce her debut album (eventhough the label wanted a know producer). Look at his career success since then and then try saying she doesn’t care about other artists. Her letter to Apple, her putting her music back on Spotify once they had stated they’d be paying (the figure you could look up) royalties to the artists that were owed to them. Also look at her playlists and the artists she features on giving them exposure. Look at her new record deal and what one of the agreements on it concerns. So that all debunks that blind assumption. Then to use buzzfeed as a credible source further proves Mr. Chin’s intent and where what he is spewing is coming from. Also he tried to say that Taylor was trying to make it seem like the labels ownership of the masters was a sudden surprise to her, read her post she said that she was aware of that as she was the one that signed that contract at the age of fifteen. Also yes she did walk away from the deal Scott presented her to win back her masters as it was a trap, and she let them be sold because she had no choice. The issue was with who the label was sold to (her masters along with it) with Scott knowing how she felt about Scooter. Again all this points towards a plan between Scott & Scooter to keep Taylor in their money hungry grip

Scooter has pushed everyone else to release a statement (although it does seem like he is releasing them on their behalf). He himself hasn’t said anything as himself. He seems to be sitting back and think ‘how do I best spin this situation and what lies shall I throw about?’. I mean even what Scott posted doesn’t play to his favour instead it further proves what she has said. It is a messy situation, but even then you can tell who is being real and who is trying to twist things to their advantage.

There is so much that comes to mind, but there is no point in going on anymore than this. Here is where I will leave this and hope that things start to change for artists. That artists especially if they have been the major forces behind the creation of their work, the planning of the album releases and everything else are able to have control over their work. If they are able to they should be given the opportunity to buy back their masters without having to sign another deal that holds them prisoner. If you (the label) aren’t going to allow the artist to release music anymore then do give them an opportunity to leave. Let’s fight for the right for all artists to be able to have ownership of their OWN work.
