A tribute for Kametz. Loved by many, an inspiration to others. Josuke Higashikata was the role I (and probably many others) discovered his talent and I couldn't anyone else as him.

Promare

I wasn't sure I wanted to go but I'm glad I did, it's just another moment to watch an anime film on theater exclusively to a specific day by Fathom Events. Whether it's dub or sub, I choose a path for the dub, I'm a big fan since over 10 years or so. I was checking this movie out called Promare. In the beginning of that project, before that, there's a little introduction scene of the three makers that made this project came to existence, one of them are a designer. They remind the audience there's going to be a behind-the-scene after the show was over, under it feature something called the "round table" cause they're on the round table to discuss something to each other. 

In the beginning of the scene. Oh my baby religious of some sort... *laughter or not, some odd vibe* If you ever watched that anime on Netflix name Devil Cry Baby, you are going to get that vibe.. Of this first few scenes you ever going to see. It was my depression moment. Other than that, I get to hear my favorite entertainer called Johnny Yong Bosch, (ya!!!) following his work for over ten years. I think I got obsessed his voice work, mainly acting and his role as a musician. Plus of course I know him from Power Rangers except I don't know the actors at the time. Also met him a few too. A Main Protagonist that voiced by Billy Kametz, he sounds similar to Johnny. I also met/talked to him once recently when I was at a panel of the con while the voice actors including him throwing some Q&As. That was a honor. I heard he's a certain protagonist in Jo Jo Bizzare Adventure. I think he voices a main protagonist of the show but I could be wrong. I've watched several episodes of it that contain Johnny voice role played of his earliest protagonist before Billy jumped in. I think this "earliest protagonist" is a son or grand son of this "certain protagonist. I think he- wait, I'm starting to remember now cause I seen it. And I didn't even bother to look these info up. I guess I'm challenging my own trivia of knowledges. I guess which is good. There's a main villain who is way similar to Aizan from Bleach. He was pretending he was a good guy but he in the beginning, he's not. Since Johnny voiced Ichigo, just like his main role of this movie. We may consider "this is just another Bleach". Overall, the movie was absolute lit. I'm glad it was worth a dime I've sacrifice to it. 

Lets try to discuss this bonus scene of something called the "round table" there's a four makers of the project in the scene. There's one a Executive Director, Director, Designer' and I can't remember one more position. They're been asked three to four question, I remember the last two question. Second last was called "The theme of Promare" it's about they explain how they designed the flames that made it look really extraordinary lit in the animation compare to real flames. Last question was under it's title "the music of Promare" they're talking about having ideas of what's songs they wanted to put in the scenes. They were discussing about this song "inferno". One and a couple I think claiming they never get tired of that song because of this "mysteries eurphonia" or euphonia, (can't remember the right grammar but) that tune sounds like it came from a fantasy.

Sad but Honorable Post: Billy Kametz ( @billykametz ) passed away a few days ago from stage IV colon cancer. He was an amazing voice actor and will truly be missed. He voiced some of my favorite characters as of late. First was Naofumi Iwatani aka The Shield Hero. He brought so much care and true understanding to the anime and made me truly feel for his plight and growth as a character. Also, Shinei Nouzen from 86. Which was a hidden gem I found a little late but absolutely loved. He did a great job there as well. That being said I want to say...Stephen Fu (@stephenfuvo ) is doing a great job as the Shield Hero and same with Aleks Le (@aleksle.vo ) for Shinei Nouzen. Keep up the great work and all that you're doing to continue these amazing characters. And final word, just want to say again please send your thoughts and prayers to Billy Kametz family. Voice Actor Billy Kametz Shares Stage IV Colon Cancer Diagnosis

Voice actor Billy Kametz (Naofumi in The Rising of the Shield Hero, Josuke in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable) shared a video on his YouTube channel today to provide a health update. According to his announcement, he was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer, and is undergoing treatment while taking a break from his work.

  Kametz explains how it started in the video below. About 10 weeks ago he had pain in one of his shoulder blades that spread elsewhere. After eventually heading to the emergency room and getting a CAT scan, the actor received a formal diagnosis and started treatment. According to his video, chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments are going well, and he'll continue fighting as he returns to Pennsylvania to be with his family.

  Kametz emphasizes the importance of his fans supporting anyone who may replace him in one of his roles moving forward. He wants everyone to cheer them on and is grateful that they're continuing his work while he focuses on treatment.
