I did them last year, but I love them so I wanted to share :D

Haven't been able to do much legitimate paleoart lately, but here are some dinosaur characters ive drawn for art fight this month :)

most of the characters do not belong to me, so here we go

My anticipated warrior names for this arc's new apprentices and kits:

ThunderClan:

Bristlekit → Bristleheart, Bristleleaf, or Bristlepelt.

Graykit → Grayspots, Graydapple, or Graysplash. The -dapple suffix hasn't been used in Warriors since Firestar's Quest, so it'd be nice to see it used again.

Stemkit → Stemflower, Stemwhisker, or Stemblossom; for some reason, I suspect that either he or Bristlekit could potentially become one of ThunderClan's next medicine cats, especially since Jayfeather is now around 9 years old and not far from retirement.

ShadowClan:

Birchkit (now Birchpaw) → Birchstorm, Birchfrost, or Birchwing. We haven't seen much of this little guy yet so it depends on how his personality develops, especially with the growing anti-Tigerstar sentiment in and outside of ShadowClan.

Bloomkit → Bloomshade (after her black pelt & in honor of her Clan)

Whisperkit → Whisperstep, Whisperstrike, or Whispercloud.

Firkit → Firfall, Firleaf, or Firshade

Streamkit → Streamsong, Streamsplash, or Streamstripe.

WindClan

Whistlepaw → Whistlesong, Whistlebreeze, Whistlewind, Whistlewing, or Whistlegrass/Whistlestalk (what I have in mind for this particular name is a grass whistle!) Whistlepaw has already shown she has a strong sense of justice & is willing to go against the highest authority figures in her Clan to do so, so a name like Whistleheart is definitely in the books for me too.

Stripekit → Stripefur, Stripepelt, Stripetail, Stripeface, etc...I wonder what was so intriguing about his tabby pattern that Larkwing looked at her son and chose Stripekit as the best possible name choice? No wonder her parents are disappointed in her.

Brookkit → Brooksong, Brookwhisper, Brookmist, Brooksplash, Brookbreeze, really anything. Several different warriors suffixes would fit nicely with Brook-.

SkyClan

Beetlepaw → Beetlewing or Beetleflight

Beepaw → Beefeather, Beesong, Beecloud, Beeflower

Ridgekit → Ridgeflower, Ridgelight, Ridgesky, or Ridgefrost.

Duskkit → While Dusklight and Duskheart are nice names, I'm betting on Duskfoot or Duskstep as being more probable names, given the fact that he's a white cat with dark-colored murder mittens.

RiverClan

Mistpaw → Mistlight, Mistshine, Mistflower, or Miststorm.

Graypaw → Graylight, Graystream, or Grayfeather.

I feel that Jayfeather would rather keel over and die than admit he needs to retire lol, but ThunderClan has had three medicine cats before so I can certainly see that happening again, and I think it would be really nice if a SpotStem kit did fill that role. Stemkit would probably get on well with Jayfeather given he’s swearing already lol

And with Whistlepaw I definitely agree she’s probably named after a grass whistle

These are all really good! And all very likely I reckon, I would be very surprised if a few of these don’t become real

The Birchwing is a thief, a spy, and a voyeur. It has hidden the memory of many of the Celestials' secrets in the corners of the Rift, as treasures to gloat over. To him belongs that which is not possessed.

The Masked Crow often roosts near the beaches of the Rift, on old birch trees. One can easily find the trees it has chosen - always birch trees, which are split down the middle by lightning.

In times of danger, loss, or famine, one might call upon the power of the Birchwing. Then, it will reluctantly share its treasures, always in exchange for something else.

The Birchwing is known to be a frequent visitor of Aviasermo - that secret place where the aviform Celestials gather to exchange gossip. Neither mortals nor immortals are permitted to near this location. However, some have made use of animals to gather this secret information.

Bramblepaw (Theo) – Feisty golden brown tabby with striking black markings and sharp green eyes. Loud and restless.

Lightpaw (Day): Cheerful white tom with ginger patches and pleasant blue eyes. Warm and naive. 

Sootpaw (Jacob) – Small, quiet and slender black tom with pale blue eyes and a splash of white on his chest. Soft and reserved.

Squirrelpaw (Ayla) – Enthusiastic ginger tabby with barely visible markings and bright amber eyes. Energetic and passionate.

Birchpaw (Icarus) – Thin light blue-grey tom with gentle blue eyes. Nervous and empathetic.

Cloudpaw (Nolan) – Headstrong white tom with thick wavy fur and pale gold eyes. Proud and defiant.

Bramblepaw let out a hacking wheeze as Lightpaw trotted past him, gagging exaggeratedly. Lightpaw started and looked around in alarm.

"Someone smells like a skunk's ass," Bramblepaw called, still gagging, curling his lips in disgust.

Lightpaw blanched, ears gone flat with embarrassment. Hesitantly, he twisted his neck to take a quick whiff of himself and his face scrunched up in confusion. "But I don't sme–"

"Nobody asked you, skunk," Bramblepaw sneered, rolling his eyes. He sniffed contemptuously and wrinkled his nose. "Yuck."

"I'm not a skunk!" Lightheart sputtered desperately, sweeping his tail close to his belly. "And I d–"

"ANYWAY," Bramblepaw cut in loudly, offering Lightpaw a clear view of his rear as he turned around. "Go eat some bugs or roll in your dirt like whatever gross pests like you do." He sauntered off, tail waving smugly in the air.

Shoulders hunched, Lightpaw scuttled away to seek the solace of his friends.

"I don't smell bad, do I?" Lightpaw whispered to Squirrelpaw. He took another self-conscious sniff at his fur and Squirrelpaw and Birchpaw crowded in, taking turns smelling him. Sootpaw hesitated before going in for a cautious whiff too.

"You smell fine to me," Squirrelpaw announced after a thorough sniffing. Sootpaw said nothing but licked Lightpaw's shoulder reassuringly while Birchpaw nodded in agreement and sympathetically added, "Don't worry about it. Bramblepaw's just a big bully."

"He is a bully, isn't he?" Squirrelpaw exclaimed, lashing her tail in indignance. "If anything, he's the one who smells like a skunk!"

Lightpaw and Birchpaw gasped. "Squirrelpaw!"

"Well it's true," Squirrelpaw insisted, though her bristling fur fell flat on her shoulders. "He doesn't wash himself very well. Cloudpaw too."

"Hmm, they do share tongues often," Birchpaw put in thoughtfully, twitching his whiskers. "Actually I don't think I've seen Bramblepaw sharing tongues with anyone else."

"Oh my gosh, you're right!" Squirrelpaw sat upright. "It's kinda weird thinking about them sharing tongues with other cats."

"Maybe we can teach them how to wash and then we can all be friends..." All three apprentices stared at Lightpaw and he trailed off.

"I'm joking," Lightpaw meowed hastily, not really joking at all.

Do you have any warrior naming predictions for the new kits? (Either all of them, most of them, or just Dovewing's and Spotfur's kits)

Frankly, I would find it hilarious if Rowankit and Birchkit become Rowanfall and Birchclaw or Rowanpelt and Birchwing, but I know the Erins probably wouldn't do that, but that can't stop my heart from hoping.

greykit -> greyspots

local closeted lesbian cat thinks she falls in love with a tom, turns out she just thought of him as a friend. he was a piece of shit anyway bc he cheats on her with her sister, who is pretty entitled and gets mad at jayriver for having kits and a mate as a med cat instead if at OAKNOSE for CHEATING. anyway eelstripe, the bitchass sister, leads jayriver to kill her but hopestar, the THIRD sister and yhe leader of the clan, kinda walks in on that and is like "okay i dont really give a shit if jay has kits and a mate. she's a grown ass med cat you stupid bitch" and eel doesnt like that so she also tries to kill hope and like succeeds but since hopestar has multiple lives she just exiles eel when she gets revived lmao. anyway jayriver then ends up falling in love with a gal named birchwing i think her name was and yeah love wins and hope is very supportive of her gay doctor sister
