For the first time EVER, I woke up on purpose to be the 1st to celebrate ME on my birthday! 🎂🎊💃

My motto this year is “I DIDN’T KNOW I WAS ME UNTIL 53” 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

For many years I’ve known…….people pleasing, hurt, uncertainty, betrayal, rejection, pain, shame, regret.

Now I know Jesus, peace, redemption, wholeness, hope, genuine love, joy and more importantly FREEDOM. (He whom the Son sets free is free indeed). John 8:36

So these next years I will be focused ONLY on….. staying free, peaceful, purposeful, wildly authentic, with holy conviction.

I’m loving 53 already. Happy Birthday to my freest self!!!

Jan. 12th 2022 A Birthday I'll Never Forget! Usually a day of dread. Why? Well, 1. Some of us don't get calls from those who gave us life. For years I did let that bother me. I woke up with A New Attitude that I was going to enjoy MY day. I finally realized no one got me to where I am in life but, myself. The Good, The Bad, The Pretty, The Ugly, The Easy, The Hard. I'm thankful for it all. I know I can hold down the future. It's easy when you stay positive and have no person, words, things that are negative around you. If you're digging yourself out of a bad relationship, career, or life in general. Keep crawling. You'll stand up soon. I'm just at the point of slowly walking; out of a storm and can clearly see the sunshine ahead. It's taken years, tears, pain, and so much hard work. I got my girls and I something on my birthday that's going to change our future forever... I'll share that in a few weeks! 😌 Everything I've been through my entire life... I deserved this day.. and dinner... And CAKE. @blacktaplv was fun, served hot, and yummy! I love food and to eat so since I have this jaw surgery coming up... I went Big! Mexico Burger 🍔 and Cake Shake of Course! Who gave this to me... Myself.
