It only just occurred to me that if Shockwave was in fact briefly forced to work for GHOST after his incarceration at the end of Warzone, at least long enough to find out Croft had built a space bridge of her own, before he got Mandroid-chipped and sent to guard the inactive bridge at that cornfield (Based on what he says after being woken up by the Terrans)...

All that implies that Croft knowingly kept Shockwave's existence right under the nose of Flatline (who also works for GHOST as part of his parole-type agreement), and she chose to keep that information from him
