Happy Black Cat Saturday!

Raven was a timid, hungry feral rescue when I adopted her 2 years ago (1st pic) and she’s *terrified* of people. Every time someone visits or so much as knocks on the door, Raven hides under my bed for hours at a time.

Yesterday I had some friends over, and lil Raven not only came out from under the bed willingly, she let them give her scritches!!

This doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a HUGE deal to me. It’s the result of 2 years of trial/error easing Raven’s anxious nature, navigating her mystery traumas from the year she spent on the streets, and teaching her to trust people again. She’s come such a long way and is getting so brave, I’m proud of her 😭 ♥️

Family Picnic 💗

With Naomi's Babies: Bastet😾 (purple sweater) the feistiest of them all, she is the protectress of her mom, surprisingly her and Placide became besties.. He didn't like cats before and Bast used to hate Naomi's ex boyfriend with a burning passion. Horus😻 (in the middle just vibing.. he is sweetest, always gentle and he loves taking very long naps, Cairo😼 (on the right next to the fruit basket stealing food as per usual.. cos this is his specialty😂.. oh umm and making a daily mess in the litter box.. also pissing off his siblings.. basically he is a handful, little troublemaker lol)
