Four ships: Ok so the first one is niche as fuck because it’s one of the first ships I ever got into. Blacksquaredshipping (Nate/Hilbert) from Pokemon BW/B2W2. I put way too much time into that one, still kinda have feelings for it. Sorry about the slowburn fic I never finished OTL.

Secondlyyyy. I guess House/Wilson from House MD? Mostly because I randomly found a real good fic about them recently and look, I like the banter, just can’t stand the show itself these days due to knowing too much about how healthcare works OTL

Black Urania. A benevolent and cheerful young man saddled with a godly gift called Eventide. His cheeky, wild and kindhearted spirit overshadows his thirst for revenge against his self-proclaimed nemesis, the Obsidian Terror. Black is assertive, cerebral and charismatic despite his bouts of impulsiveness and recklessness. Yet he nurses much darkness. Blake, the Obsidian Terror, Red Electra’s bane. One of Furvum Imperium’s most formidable and prized warriors. A self-absorbed, flippant and sadistic boy with a love for innovation and metaphors, he seemingly fits the profile of a sociopath/narcissist/psychopath to a T. He bears the Heavenly Brand of Eventide (Ībuntaido no Tengoku no Burando) on his forehead, which has brought him nothing but psychological trauma and woe.

The relationship Blake had forged with Black after the defeat of Green Urania seems coincidental at first glance. But Blake doesn’t believe in coincidence or chance as evidenced in this metaphorical passage:

"No matter what, no one must challenge the will of fate," Blake declared, the edge to his voice as sharp as broken glass. "Fate, destiny and karma treats our universe like a stage - all the world's a stage and most of us are desperately unrehearsed."

People always say there’s a thin line between love and hate. Such a fine line is blurred more by fear itself. Unchecked fear breeds hatred, which leads to committing unimaginable atrocities. Red knows what fear does to oneself better than others; he’s been there and done that. Mount Silver, anyone? Needless to say, this comment provides insight into Blake’s psyche:

Eventide is still shrouded in mystery though it’s known Black and Green bear this gift. But from the looks of what Blake said before and during his episode in “Secrets Part III”, he implied he is the same as Black and Green - an implication Gold picked up on rather quickly.

The Obsidian Terror’s twisted emotional bond with Black will come to prominence in subsequent chapters. The fearsome soldier has become quite the enigma.

Just wanted to draw front profiles of my favourite pokemon trainers/characters and im dying of gayness rn (do not ask why i drew them like that but i needed for future references)

{Most of them are ships except for Calem and Elio as they are more like brothers tbh, also with their age it would be goofy}

Tho i did add some references from Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra cuz i feel like in this AU not only pokemon have abilities but also humans, especially champions/rulers/guardians of their own region, and i might do some explaining later on that

Defining Character Ships

I know that the term ship usually applies to two or more characters we want to see in a relationship. So why would I use Blacksquaredshipping for Black and Blake if I don’t want them in a relationship? I don’t want a romantic relationship between these two characters at all. But they still do have a relationship.

Let’s look at the true, actual definition of a relationship as summarized by Google. 

Relationship:

the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.

Black and Blake satisfy the criteria needed for a relationship to be defined. The same goes for Pearl and Sapphire (a romantic relationship), Red and White (a familial relationship), and Gold and Silver (a platonic relationship). 

I will always state which kind of relationship a particular Pokemon ship has before I blog. Hopefully this short post cleared any confusion.
