some guy: i can't watch cheesy old shows like classic doctor who. the effects look so fake! there's wobbly walls! it's so dumb
me, grabbing his face and staring into his eyes: aww can the little baby not suspend their disbelief for three seconds? can the little baby not get immersed in a story if he sees a boom mic for three seconds? do you think tv is real?

All the best Avon and Blake whump/bromance moments leading up to that climactic admission of trust across the first two seasons of Blake's 7.

*following my roommate around* no you don't understand, one minute I was making fun of Avon for being the self-serving sarcastic bitch he is. Like, what a genuinely unlikeable and increasingly unhinged man. Why do they even put up with him. And the next I was wondering who let him sneak into blorbo territory while I wasn't looking because it turns out I did care about him the whole time. I get it now and no one is more surprised and irritated by it than me. I didn't sign up for this but I'm stuck with him now so let me have this ok? Yeah I know he's the worst. Yeah I find his narrative journey compelling anyway. No I can't stop talking about it. I warned you as soon as I could. Sorry.

Servalan. I'm quite sure I can trace my unreasonable horniness for women with super short hair straight back to late night public tv reruns of Blake's 7 in the early 1980s.

avon is the most blorbo of all time. he's the sidekick but he stole the show from the titular character. he is a babygirl who loves to commit financial crimes. he's a traitor and he's loyal like a dog. he claims to be logical and emotionless but has the most expressive big brown eyes that show literally every emotion he's feeling. he's socially awkward and all the villains want to fuck him soo bad it makes them look stupid
