Our God is a Consuming Fire
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire. — Hebrews 12 | King James Version (KJV) The King James Version Bible is in the public domain. Some forms of religion are energized by Satan and his minions.
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones)…
Therefore, my beloved, run [keep far, far away] from [any sort of] idolatry [and that includes loving anything more than God, or participating in anything that leads to sin and enslaves the soul]. I am speaking as to wise and sensible people; judge [carefully and thoughtfully consider] for yourselves what I say. Is the cup of blessing which we bless [at the Lord’s Supper] not a sharing in the blood of Christ? [Indeed it is.] Is the bread which we break not a sharing in the body of Christ? [Indeed it is.] Since there is one bread, we [believers] who are many are [united into] one body; for we all partake of the one bread [which represents the body of Christ]. Consider the people of Israel; are those who eat the sacrifices not partners of the altar [united in their worship of the same God]? [Indeed they are.] What do I mean then? That a thing offered to idols is anything [special or changed simply because it is offered], or that an idol is anything? On the contrary, the things which the Gentiles (pagans) sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons [in effect], and not to God; and I do not want you to become partners with demons [by eating at feasts in pagan temples]. You cannot drink [both] the Lord’s cup and the cup of demons. You cannot share in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons [thereby becoming partners with them]. Do we [really] provoke the Lord to jealousy [when we eat food sacrificed to handmade “gods” at pagan feasts]? Are we [spiritually] stronger than He? [Certainly not! He knows that the idols are nothing. But we deeply offend Him.]… among them the god of this world [Satan] has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
The coming of the [Antichrist, the lawless] one is through the activity of Satan, [attended] with great power [all kinds of counterfeit miracles] and [deceptive] signs and false wonders [all of them lies], and by unlimited seduction to evil and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are perishing, because they did not welcome the love of the truth [of the gospel] so as to be saved [they were spiritually blind, and rejected the truth that would have saved them]…
But the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons…
‘I know your suffering and your poverty (but you are rich), and how you are blasphemed and slandered by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan [they are Jews only by blood, and do not believe and truly honor the God whom they claim to worship]…
And the great dragon was thrown down, the age-old serpent who is called the devil and Satan, he who continually deceives and seduces the entire inhabited world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Matthew 24:24; 1 Corinthians 10:14-22; 2 Corinthians 4:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10; 1 Timothy 4:1; Revelation 2:9; 12:9

Dear Lord Vader,
As the date of today is, on some more primitive calendars, "4/20", a number I've had yelled at me, I felt encouraged to make an inquiry I've been putting off. Several of the men under my command have begun partaking in "barrel-smoking", the practice of filling the barrel of a blaster rifle (in my case, an E-Web heavy repeater) with, and I quote, "the Force-blessed ganja", heating it around where the barrel meets the battery slot to ignite the contents, then inhaling the smoke. Besides the obvious issues with using and potentially damaging Imperial equipment to partake in some bizarre ritual with no apparent military use, I find that many of those who partake in it seem inebriated or impaired for some time afterward and partake in strange behavior such as hanging Imperial flags sideways and giggling madly whenever they see a green plant. However, despite the obvious concerns, I've been advised by some NCOs that it may be for the best to permit this behavior, citing increased morale, despite the oddities and the fact that I'm fairly certain we would fail any inspection.
What would you advise, Lord Vader? I apologize or bothering you with such a trivial matter, but at this point, I don't know what to do anymore. Sincerely, and with deep respect but mounting frustration, -Lieutenant Sigum Acroid, 145th Imperial Mechanized
SWEET DESERT AND GLASS AND WEATHER GODS--
GANJA IS NOT PERMITTED TO BE USED WHILE ON DUTY OR IN UNIFORM OR IN SHELL. WHILE I UNDERSTAND THE ARGUMENTS THAT IT IS SAFER THAN ALCOHOL, THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS IS THAT IT IS STILL AN INEBRIATION.
WHAT THEY DO ON PLANET AND OFF DUTY OR ON LEAVE, IS NONE OF OUR CONCERN.
IN ADDITION, WHEN A BLASTER BACKFIRES OR JAMS OR OVERLOADS, BECAUSE SOMEONE WAS PLACING FOREIGN MATERIALS IN ITS BARREL NEAR ITS BATTERY, THE RESULTING BLASTS WILL TURN EVERYONE IN THE RADIUS INTO GEOGRAPHY OR THE SHIP'S LATEST PAINT JOB.
SINCE THIS IS A REPEAT OCCURRENCE, I WOULD ADVISE THE ENTIRE 145TH TO HAVE A URINALYSIS EVER 30 CYCLES. ANYONE WHO TESTS POSITIVE FOR GANJA, IS ON BURN PIT DUTY.
AS WELL AS RETRAIN THE TROOPS IN PROPER BLASTER HANDLING.
WE WILL SEND CORPORAL KYNDLE TO ASSIST YOU WITH BLASTER RETRAINING. HE WILL BE PERFORMING HIS POSTMORTEM DUTY AS AN EXAMPLE OF WHY YOU DO NOT PLACE FOREIGN MATERIALS IN THE BLASTER, AND EXPECT THE STUN TO WORK AFTERWARDS.
MIND THAT IT WILL ONLY BE WHAT WE FOUND OF HIM, WHICH WERE A SMOKING PAIR OF HIS GREAVES AND BOOTS. WE WERE UNABLE TO FIND THE REST, AND THE HALLWAY WHERE WE FOUND HIM HAS NOT STOPPED SMELLING OF BURNT HAIR AND OZONE EVER SINCE.

First Reading
Genesis 14:18–20
Melchizedek brought out bread and wine.
In those days, Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine, and being a priest of God Most High, he blessed Abram with these words:
“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,    the creator of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High,    who delivered your foes into your hand.”
Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 110:1, 2, 3, 4
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
The LORD said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand    till I make your enemies your footstool.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
The scepter of your power the LORD will stretch forth from Zion:    “Rule in the midst of your enemies.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
“Yours is princely power in the day of your birth, in holy splendor;    before the daystar, like the dew, I have begotten you.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
The LORD has sworn, and he will not repent:    “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
Second Reading
1 Corinthians 11:23–26
For as often as you eat and drink, you proclaim the death of the Lord.
Brothers and sisters: I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Sequence
Lauda, Sion
The Sequence may be said or sung in full, or using the shorter form indicated by the asterisked verses.
Laud, O Zion, your salvation, Laud with hymns of exultation,    Christ, your king and shepherd true:
Bring him all the praise you know, He is more than you bestow.    Never can you reach his due.
Special theme for glad thanksgiving Is the quick’ning and the living    Bread today before you set:
From his hands of old partaken, As we know, by faith unshaken,    Where the Twelve at supper met.
Full and clear ring out your chanting, Joy nor sweetest grace be wanting,    From your heart let praises burst:
For today the feast is holden, When the institution olden    Of that supper was rehearsed.
Here the new law’s new oblation, By the new king’s revelation,    Ends the form of ancient rite:
Now the new the old effaces, Truth away the shadow chases,    Light dispels the gloom of night.
What he did at supper seated, Christ ordained to be repeated,    His memorial ne’er to cease:
And his rule for guidance taking, Bread and wine we hallow, making    Thus our sacrifice of peace.
This the truth each Christian learns, Bread into his flesh he turns,    To his precious blood the wine:
Sight has fail’d, nor thought conceives, But a dauntless faith believes,    Resting on a pow’r divine.
Here beneath these signs are hidden Priceless things to sense forbidden;    Signs, not things are all we see:
Blood is poured and flesh is broken, Yet in either wondrous token    Christ entire we know to be.
Whoso of this food partakes, Does not rend the Lord nor breaks;    Christ is whole to all that taste:
Thousands are, as one, receivers, One, as thousands of believers,    Eats of him who cannot waste.
Bad and good the feast are sharing, Of what divers dooms preparing,    Endless death, or endless life.
Life to these, to those damnation, See how like participation    Is with unlike issues rife.
When the sacrament is broken, Doubt not, but believe ‘tis spoken,    That each sever’d outward token    doth the very whole contain.
Nought the precious gift divides, Breaking but the sign betides    Jesus still the same abides,    still unbroken does remain.
The shorter form of the sequence begins here.
*Lo! the angel’s food is given To the pilgrim who has striven;    see the children’s bread from heaven,    which on dogs may not be spent.
*Truth the ancient types fulfilling, Isaac bound, a victim willing,    Paschal lamb, its lifeblood spilling,    manna to the fathers sent.
*Very bread, good shepherd, tend us, Jesu, of your love befriend us,    You refresh us, you defend us,    Your eternal goodness send us In the land of life to see.
*You who all things can and know, Who on earth such food bestow,    Grant us with your saints, though lowest,    Where the heav’nly feast you show, Fellow heirs and guests to be. Amen. Alleluia.
Gospel Acclamation
John 6:51
Alleluia, alleluia. I am the living bread that came down from heaven, says the Lord; whoever eats this bread will live forever. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel
Luke 9:11b–17
They all ate and were satisfied.
Jesus spoke to the crowds about the kingdom of God, and he healed those who needed to be cured. As the day was drawing to a close, the Twelve approached him and said, “Dismiss the crowd so that they can go to the surrounding villages and farms and find lodging and provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.” He said to them, “Give them some food yourselves.” They replied, “Five loaves and two fish are all we have, unless we ourselves go and buy food for all these people.” Now the men there numbered about five thousand. Then he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty.” They did so and made them all sit down. Then taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing over them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. They all ate and were satisfied. And when the leftover fragments were picked up, they filled twelve wicker baskets.
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

CULTIVATE YOUR LAND
19 HE WHO TILLS [works or cultivates] HIS LAND WILL HAVE PLENTY OF BREAD, BUT he who follows FRIVOLITY will have POVERTY ENOUGH! 20 A faithful man will ABOUND with BLESSINGS, BUT he who HASTENS to be RICH will not go UNPUNISHED.” Proverbs 28:19,20 (NKJV)
Tumblr media
You have to till your land before you can Harvest. If you cultivated not or worked not your land, Harvest would be farfetched or be a mirage.
If you failed to plant, you will equally harvest Nothing. Before you can harvest, God wants you to work on the land, the assignment, He has given you.
As you till your land, you have to pay attention to these: a. Hard-working. In your God-given assignment, hard-working is expected of you. b. Abundance. God Blesses the work or the assignment of whoever is faithful and diligent, in whatever is given to such to do.
What are the basic truths about Harvest.
You had to know your land; your function or work in the Body of Christ, that is, your God-given assignment; that you might not be working in another person’s field.
If you worked in another person’s field, the assignment that was not given to you, It would amount to labour lost—toiling without any Harvest or reward.
It is not enough to know your field or function, you have to follow the principles that govern your assignment, for you to experience abundance in the Harvest.
Harvest is in different measures, or folds, and for it to be bumper, mega, or abundant, the work or the land has to be worked or cultivated According to God’s Principles.
God has given us His Word to guide us in this world of darkness. If you obeyed the laws, commands or principles, written in His Word, the Bible; you cannot but experience abundance.
Any number of professed Believers trusted in their efforts and neglected God. Human abilities or efforts are not enough!
Without God’s help, there is a limit to human abilities, knowledge, or whatever (Psalm 127:1).
If things are working and you are prospering, God is the reason why things are prospering. Nothing works or prospers without Him (John 15:5).
Thus, God has to be acknowledged in all your endeavours, and every glory be ascribed to Him.
Note: Harvest comes in phases, because God does things progressively and systematically: “THE earth PRODUCES the CROPS on its OWN. FIRST A LEAF BLADE PUSHES THROUGH, Then the HEADS OF WHEAT ARE FORMED, And finally THE GRAIN RIPENS” (Mark 4:28 NLT).
In HARVESTING: (i) Putting God first is important. The first-fruits of your harvest are to be presented to God as an offering, before you could take any for yourself (Leviticus 23:10-14). THE similar Scripture found in the new Testament is: 13 DO you not know that THOSE WHO MINISTER THE HOLY THINGS EAT OF THE THINGS OF THE TEMPLE, AND those who SERVE at the altar PARTAKE of the OFFERINGS of the ALTAR? 14 EVEN SO THE LORD HAS COMMANDED THAT THOSE WHO PREACH THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE FROM THE GOSPEL” (1 Corinthians 9:13,14 NKJV). READ: Galatians 6:6; Philippians 4:16,17 (ii) God wants you to consider the Poor: “WHEN you harvest the crops of your land, DO not harvest the grain ALONG THE EDGES of your FIELDS, AND DO NOT PICK UP WHAT THE HARVESTERS DROP. LEAVE IT FOR THE POOR AND THE FOREIGNERS LIVING AMONG YOU. I am the Lord your God” (Leviticus 23:22 NLT). READ: Leviticus 19:9,10; Ruth 2:1-3.
To paraphrase this Law or principle in the New Testament language: 7-9 In fact, when Peter, James, and John, who were known as the pillars of the church, saw how greatly God had used me in WINNING the GENTILES, just as Peter had been blessed so greatly in his PREACHING to the JEWS—for the same God gave us each our special gifts—they shook hands with Barnabas and me and encouraged us to keep right on with our preaching to the Gentiles while they continued their work with the Jews. 10 THE ONLY THING THEY DID SUGGEST WAS THAT WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER TO HELP THE POOR, AND I, TOO, WAS EAGER FOR THAT” (Galatians 2:7-10 the Living Bible).
9 AND recognizing the grace [that God had] bestowed on me, James and Cephas (Peter) and John, who were reputed to be pillars [of the Jerusalem church], gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, so that we could go to the Gentiles [with their blessing] and they to the circumcised (Jews). 10 THEY ASKED ONLY [one thing], THAT WE REMEMBER THE POOR, THE VERY THING I WAS ALSO EAGER TO DO” (Galatians 2:9-11 Amplified Bible).
You cannot cheat God, neither can you deceive Him. You cannot outsmart God!
No one should acclaim or ascribe the success they had to the self ability, but give the credit, the glory, and the honour of all things to God.
That said, laziness is not condoned by God. Associating with a vain person, a frivolous person, would lead to poverty (Proverbs 28:19).
Who you relate with matters. Association, to some extents, determines your level in life. You have a future before you. Thus, be circumspect about Whom you relate with.
If you are yet to be reborn, you may likely not discover God’s purpose for your life until you have taken the step.
Salvation is the Foundation of whatever God will do in your life or through your life. Redemption of your soul is the foundation of all you become in God.
Sin blinds the mind. It is when you come to Jesus Christ that you have your eyes of understanding opened and discovered the Purpose of God, that is, If you did work on it—to know.
A natural person cannot understand God’s plan or Purpose: “BUT people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. IT ALL SOUNDS FOOLISH TO THEM AND THEY CAN’T UNDERSTAND IT, FOR only those who are SPIRITUAL can UNDERSTAND what the SPIRIT MEANS” (1 Corinthians 2:14 NLT).
The Holy Spirit is given to His Children, those who are His (Romans 8:9).
Through the Holy Spirit on the inside of the Believers, we get to know the mind of God: “BUT it was to us that God revealed these things BY HIS SPIRIT. FOR HIS SPIRIT SEARCHES out EVERYTHING and SHOWS US God’s DEEP SECRETS” (1 Corinthians 2:10 NLT).
Through the help of the Holy Spirit on the inside of you, as a Believer, you will know your land, your field or functionality, or the assignment; and He will help you in tilling it—guide you on how to cultivate the land.
Therefore, be wary of any relationship that would not help you discover purpose and fulfil it.
God prepared in you the Seed to be planted in the world (Romans 11:29).
God has deposited in you the gifts to put to work, in other to produce results in the world.
You are to affect your world positively with the gifted He has given you, or deposited in you.
Your land is the assignment He gave to you, whilst your gifts are the Seed to be planted, which would produce the Harvest of the transformed people.
God wants you to add life to people. He wants you to change things. If you can see how something can be done in an improved way, that is a Vision, pursue it.
Sow the Seed of whatever has been deposited in you, that you may not beg at the time of Harvest.
Your success is in what He has called, or assigned, or equiped, you to do.
You are gifted to do something in an improved or better Way, to bless mankind; that is the thing—go ahead and do it.
You will not be a waste in Jesus’ name.
As you take a step on what He said to do, I see you swimming in abundance in Jesus’ name.
Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus’ name. Peace!

It is in The Word
Every need you have is met through the Word of God. If you allow His Word to grow in your heart and then declare it in faith, it will accomplish its purpose. Every Word of God contains the power within to fulfill itself. Don’t let His power go untapped!
-Healing for your body
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. (Prov. 4:20-22)
-Your children will be blessed
Blessed is the man that fears the Lord, that delights greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. (Psalm 112:1-2)
-Correction and Instruction
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
-All the promises in order to partake of Him
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Pet. 1:3-4)
-Long life and peace
My son, forget not my law; but let your heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to you. (Pr 3:1-2)
-Wisdom
For the Lord gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. (Prov. 2:6-7)
-Communion with God
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (John 14:23)
-Confidence in Prayer
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7)
-Success and Prosperity
This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. (Joshua 1:8)
To the degree that we suffer lack in any area of life, it means that we haven’t taken the Word seriously. His Word is life. It contains what you need.

John 3:20-21 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Ephesians 6:12-13 Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Psalm 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the mountains — where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God.
May you not focus on whether those you seek to help or minister to will be willing, nor be fearful about those who are determined to withstand the work of God, but focus on the commission of God and His promise to be with you as you go and in all that you do. Exodus 4
May you give to God what you have at hand, for He will use what you bring and bless what you have, to His glory and for His will. Exodus 4
May you celebrate your weaknesses and shortcomings, your inabilities and your lacks, because by knowing you as you are, others can be shown God for Who He is as He moves through you to show Himself strong. Exodus 4
May you not be so enthralled by your shortcomings that you set them above the power and awesomeness of God Almighty, for did He not create all you have, and can He not accomplish His will as He chooses? So take Him at His word and, standing on His promises, obey His command in the way He directs you in His work. Exodus 4
May you recognize the hand of God in the circumstances that come upon you as you obey His leading; though they seem like setbacks, may you realize the work He is doing to bring total defeat upon the powers which hold His people captive. Exodus 5
Know My Word, My child, study it, learn it, embrace it, live it. Do not fear My Word but allow it to have its way in your heart and your mind. Allow it to complete its work in your life. Although it is sharper than a double-edged sword, although it divides asunder soul and spirit, although it discerns and judges the thoughts and intents of the heart, it is wielded by My Spirit for your benefit, My dear one, and guided by My love for you. It is not for your harm, but for your eternal benefit that pain comes, as separation from harmful things, damaging relationships, troublesome ties, impairing perspectives, results as My Truth sets you free from the shackles of the enemy and the chains of his lies. As you stay in My Word, consuming it, digesting the meaning and absorbing the principles I reveal through it, you gain strength to stand and resist the attacks as the enemy of your soul seeks to recapture you through wrong thoughts and evil intents. Once again, My Word cleaves the shrouds of darkness and My light separates day from night, life from death. As it happens in your mind, so it happens in your life and you find a separation takes place in the activities you follow and the places you go and the fellowship you partake. Let My Word be your guide, My chosen one, for it will draw you ever closer to Me.
May you change, through the power of the Spirit and the agreement of your will, and humble yourself like a little child, so that you may enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18
May you not look down on one of the humble ones of the kingdom of heaven, for the face of the Father is always toward them. Matthew 18
May you rejoice with the Father over the one who was lost but is found, having greater joy over the one than over the many who have stayed steadfast. Matthew 18
May the Lord your Strength not be far off, but come quickly to help you, and deliver your life from the sword, save your life from the dogs, rescue your life from the mouth of lions, and preserve your life from the horns of the wild oxen. Psalm 22
May you declare His name to your brothers and praise Him in the congregation, calling on those who fear the Lord to praise Him and all descendants of Jacob to honor Him. Psalm 22
May the Lord not hide His face from you but listen to your cry for help, for He does not despise or disdain the suffering of the afflicted one. Psalm 22
May you understand that your ways are in full view of the Lord, and He examines all your paths. Proverbs 5:21

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Romans 1:16, KJV "For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ . . . And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ." Romans 15:8-9, 29, KJV "If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ . . . What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel." 1 Corinthians 9:12, 18, KJV "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, KJV "Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;" 2 Corinthians 9:13, KJV "For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:" 2 Corinthians 10:14, KJV "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:6-9, KJV "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;" Philippians 1:27, KJV "Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone; And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:" 1 Thessalonians 3:1-2, KJV If you would like more info regarding the origin of these KJV Bible verse lists, go to https://www.billkochman.com/VerseLists/. 34. Sheba In the name of God, the Benevolent, the Merciful 1. All praise is due to God, to whom belongs what is in the heavens and what is on earth; and to whom is due all praise in the hereafter, and who is perfectly wise and completely aware, 2. knowing what goes into the earth and what conies out of it, and what descends from the sky and what ascends to it; and being the epitome of mercy and forgiveness. 3. Yet those who scoff say, “The end of time will never come upon us.” Say, “Oh, yes, by my Lord, it will surely come upon you, by the Knower of the unseen, from whom not so much as a particle escapes note, in the heavens or on earth; and there is nothing smaller than that, or anything larger, but is in a clear record, 4. “that God may reward those who have been faithful and done good works; for them there is forgiveness and a generous provision.” 5. As for those who have striven to thwart Our signs, they will suffer punishment from a painful plague. 6. But those to whom knowledge has been given see that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth, guiding to the path of the Almighty, the One worthy of all praise. 7. Yet those who scoff say, “Shall we show you a man who tells you that when you have been dissolved in total disintegration you will be in a new creation? 8. “He has made up a lie about God; or has a demon possessed him?” But those who don’t believe in the hereafter are in torment, and very far astray: 9. Haven’t they seen what is in front of them, and what is behind them, of the sky and the earth? If We wished, We could cause the earth to cave in with them, or make the sky fall on them in pieces. Surely there is a sign in that for every repentant mortal. II. 10. We did indeed bestow on David favor from Us: “O mountains, and birds, sing the praises of God along with him.” And We softened iron for him: 11. “Make coats of mail, arranging the linking rings; and act with integrity, for We see whatever you do.” 12. And to Solomon was subordinated the wind, its morning a month and its evening a month. And We made a spring of molten brass flow for him; and there were sprites that worked in front of him, by permission of his Lord: and any of them who deviated from Our order, We had taste of the torment of the inferno. 13. They made for him what he wanted— pavilions, statues, bowls like pools, and stable cauldrons: “Work, clan of David, gratefully.” But few are the thankful among My servants. 14. And when We ordained death for him, nothing indicated his death but an earthworm eating his staff. Then when he fell, the sprites saw that if they had known the unseen they would not have remained in the degrading torment. 15. There was certainly a sign for Sheba in their homeland,

two gardens, to the right and the left: “Partake of the provision of your Lord, and give thanks for it; a pleasant region and a forgiving Lord.” 16. But they turned away, and We sent the flood of the dam against them, and We changed their two gardens into two fields of bitter fruits, with tamarisk and a little lotus tree. 17. That was Our repaying them for their ingratitude. And do We punish any but the ungrateful? 18. We placed towns in sight of one another between them and the cities We blessed, and measured the journey between them: “Travel safely therein by night and by day.” 19. But they said, “Our Lord, lengthen the distances between the stages of our journeys,” and they wronged themselves, so We made stories of them, and scattered them all over. Surely there are signs in that for everyone who’s constant and grateful. 20.The devil confirmed his opinion of them, and they followed him, except a segment of the faithful. 21. Yet he had no authority over them, except for Us to discern who believes in the hereafter from those who are in doubt about it. And your Lord watches over all things. III. 22. Say, “Pray to those you believe besides God: they haven’t a particle of power, in the heavens or on earth; they have no share of either, and God has no backer among them.” 23. So no intercession avails with God, except for someone God has permitted: then when fear is gone from their hearts, they will say, “What was that your Lord said?” They will say, “The truth; and it is most lofty and most comprehensive.” 24. Say, “Who provides for you from the skies and the earth?” Say, “God. And either you or we are surely following direction or are in evident error.” 25. Say, “You will not be called to answer for our sins, nor will we be called to answer for what you do.” 26. Say, “Our Lord will gather us together and judge among us by truth, as the most knowing judge.” 27. Say, “Show me those you associate with God. Certainly not—God is the almighty, the supremely wise. ” 28. And We have only sent you universally to all people, as a herald and a Warner; but most people do not know: 29. They still say, “When is this promise to be, if you are telling the truth?” 30. Say, “There is an appointment for you, on a day you cannot delay for even an hour, and cannot bring about either.” IV. 31. Those who scoff say, “We will never believe in this Recital, or in that before it.” But if you could only see the wrongdoers when they are stood before their Lord, throwing back allegations at one another: those who had been despised will say to the self-aggrandized, “But for you, we would have been believers.” 32. The self-aggrandized will say to those who were despised,
Cleary, Thomas. The Qur'an: A New Translation by Thomas Cleary (Kindle Locations 11771-11828). Starlatch, LLC. Kindle Edition.
“Did we hold you back from the guidance after it came to you? No, you were the guilty ones.” 33. And the despised will say to those puffed up with pride, “No, it was a scheme of the night and the day: you instructed us to deny God and set up idols as equivalents to God.” And they will confide their regret when they see the penalty, as We will put yokes on the necks of the scoffers. Will they be repaid for aught but what they have done? 34. Whenever We sent a warner to a community, its affluent members said, “We reject what you were sent with.” 35. And they said, “We have more property and children, and we are not to be chastised.” 36. Say, “My Lord expands or restricts the provision of anyone, at will, though most of humanity does not realize.” V. 37. It is not your property or your children that will bring you closer to Our presence: only those who have faith and act with integrity are those who will have a compounded reward for what they have done; and they will be secure in the chambers on high. 38. As for those who strive to thwart Our signs, they will be brought to punishment. 39. Say, “My Lord expands the provision of any servant at will, and regulates it; and whatever you disburse, God will replace it, being the best of providers.” 40. And one day God will gather them all together, and then say to the angels, “Did these people worship you?” 41. They will say, “Glory to You! You are our patron, not they. But they used to worship the sprites, in which most of them believed.” 42. So on that day none of you will be capable of helping or hurting anyone else. And We will say to those who went wrong, “Taste the agony of the fire that you used to deny.” 43. Yet when Our enlightening signs are recited to them, they say, “This is nothing but a man who wants to alienate you from what your ancestors worshipped.” And they say, “This is nothing but a fabricated lie.” And those who repudiate truth when it comes to them say, “This is but obvious enchantment.” 44. But We have not given them Books to study, and We haven’t sent a warner to them before you. 45. Those before them also denied the truth —and these have not gotten a tenth of what We gave to those— so they rejected My messengers. And how intense My disapproval! VI. 46. Say, “I only make a single appeal to you, that you stand before God, in pairs or alone, and reflect: your companion is not possessed; he is but a warner to you, before a severe torment.” 47. Say, “I ask you for no reward; it is for you. My reward is up to God alone, who is witness to all things.” 48. Say, “My Lord hurls the truth, knowing all mysteries.” 49. Say, “Truth has arrived; and the false neither creates nor restores.”
Cleary, Thomas. The Qur'an: A New Translation by Thomas Cleary (Kindle Locations 11828-11883). Starlatch, LLC. Kindle Edition.
50. Say, “If I am mistaken, I just err on my own; while if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me by inspiration, as God is listening, nearby.” 51. If only you could see when they are smitten with fear but have no escape, and are very shortly seized: 52. Then they will say, “Now we believe in it!” But how could they be receptive from afar, 53. having scoffed at it before, discarding the unseen from far away? 54. And there is a barrier between them and what they want, like what affected their kind before, as they were in disquieting doubt.

The Peril of Falling Away
1 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 with instruction about ablutions, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits. 4 For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt. 7 For land which has drunk the rain that often falls upon it, and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. 8 But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed; its end is to be burned.
9 Though we speak thus, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things that belong to salvation. 10 For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do. 11 And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness in realizing the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
The Certainty of God’s Promise
13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, 14 saying, “Surely I will bless you and multiply you.” 15 And thus Abraham, having patiently endured, obtained the promise. 16 Men indeed swear by a greater than themselves, and in all their disputes an oath is final for confirmation. 17 So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he interposed with an oath, 18 so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible that God should prove false, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us. 19 We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner shrine behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest for ever after the order of Melchiz′edek. — Hebrews 6 | Revised Standard Version (RSV) Revised Standard Version of the Bible, copyright © 1946, 1952, and 1971 the Division of Christian Education of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the United States of America. Today’s Theme: ⛪ THE FATHER’S LOVE
"As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you."
Text: John 15:9
MESSAGE
The Father, the Almighty God loves us and bestows on us “the sons of God” Hear Him in 1 John 3: 1:
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not”.
As the Father loves the Son, in the same manner Jesus loves his people. What is that divine method? He loved him from the foundation of the world. From the very beginning, thus Jesus loves his family members also.
The members of His body,
“I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” (Jer.31:3)
You can trace the beginning of human affection; you can easily find the beginning of your love to Christ, but his love to us is a stream whose source is hidden in eternity.
“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” (Jer.31:3).
God the Father loves Jesus without any change. Christian, take this for your comfort, that there is no change in Jesus Christ’s love to those who rest in him. Yesterday, you were on Hill Top Mansion, and you said, “He loves me:” today you are in the valley of humiliation, but he loves you still the same. For the God of the mountain is still God in the valley.
“On the hill Mizar, and among the Hermons, you heard his voice, which spake so sweetly with the turtle-notes of love” (Psalm 42:6); and now on the sea, or even in the sea, when all his waves and billows go over you, his heart is faithful to his ancient choice. The Father loves the Son without any end, and thus does the Son love his people.
Saint, thou needs not fear the loosing of the silver cord, for his love for thee will never cease. Rest confident that even down to the grave Christ will go with you, and that up again from it he will be your guide to the celestial hills.
Moreover, the Father loves the Son without any measure, and the same immeasurable love the Son bestows upon his chosen ones. The whole heart of Christ is dedicated to his people.
“He loved us and gave himself for us.” (Galatians 2:20) .
His is a love which passes knowledge. Ah! we have indeed an immutable Saviour, a precious Saviour, one who loves without measure, without change, without beginning, and without end, even as the Father loves him! There is much food here for those who know how to digest it.
May the Holy Ghost lead us into its marrow and fatness in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
PRAYERS
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love for me and my family.
Father, on your account of love, you sent your only begotten Son to die for me and for all men. Lord today I am free from all manners of sins and griefs because of your love. I am free from all evil covenants and abominations because Christ hath redeemed me from the curse of the law, thank you Father.
Father, because of your love, I am a partaker of the blessings of Abraham. I decree that the love of the Father, which supposes all human understanding be made perfect in my life and soul in Jesus mighty name, amen.

The Age of Aquarius (Jupiter + Saturn Conjunction)
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷
On December 17th, 2020 3:04 AM PST Saturn moves into Aquarius
On December 19th, 2020 4:36 AM PST Jupiter moves into Aquarius
On December 21st, 2020 10:20 AM PST Jupiter Conjuncts Saturn [0°29’]
The great conjunction is a historic occurrence between the social planets, Jupiter & Saturn. Most see these two energies as opposites but they both offer us lessons throughout our time on earth. Saturn represents the tough lessons we are meant to learn, what makes us stronger, how we can build ourselves up. Jupiter represents the lessons learned through our natural bestowed blessings, where we thrive, where our power lays when it comes to functioning in the world.
These two planets will form a conjunction in the sign of Aquarius. Aquarius represents unconventionality, humanitarianism, change, growth, revolution, innovation. Aquarius is the sign that propels life forward, it is ahead of the crowd and leads others without people even knowing it. Expect to feel that personal push towards greatness, do not fight what this conjunction wants to offer you. You are going to feel incredibly uncomfortable and drained within this transit, especially fixed signs, specifically Aquarius placements.
The key takeaway for everyone within this conjunction: Do not fight change. Do not fight progress. We heal through growth and movement.
If you’re curious to understand how this transit will affect you most dramatically, look below! Or read here.
Conjunction Through The Houses [Check the house where Aquarius lays]:
1st House: As the first house represents the self, this is a self revitalization period, you have been making progress, others see it and you do as well! You aren’t meant to be held back as you were before, that was a time for patience and learning but now is a time for breaking free of the boundaries bestowed upon you and welcome in the rush that this conjunction will offer you. Switch it up, now is the time to transform.
2nd House: Evaluate what brings you comfort, then understand why it does. Whether it be a person, place, or thing, understand why it brings you relief, to understand how you can seek that safety within your own self. This transit wants you to let go of the conventional items that offer you this sense of peace as all that you are looking for is in yourself.
3rd House: You’re going to be quite the firecracker this conjunction transit, your mind will be quick and bright and you will feel the need to explore life as it is. Now is the time to buy books, write pages of your thoughts and what you want to receive from this world, dive into a hobby that brings you joy. This transit is about finding the light stored inside of your own being.
4th House: Look around, take a gander at the people supporting you. Now is the time to support yourself, you are the definition of strength and there is so much power stored within your kind heart. You are constantly looking out for others but use that energy for yourself. In other words, treat yourself! You will partake in lots of healing this season, be prepared for the “ugly” to come out however you will come out bigger and better on the other side.
5th House: This conjunction transit will have you motivated to connect with every living person on this earth and that’s good! You’ve been confined to the boundaries of your own mind for quite some time but you made it and you have wisdom and beauty that people want to hear and see. Do not limit yourself, make friends, make lovers, create art in the best possible way you know how.
6th House: You’ve been holding off on your passions, unsure if it’s the right decision, but now is the time to allow those passions to come out. This is the perfect time for you to see the power in the work you do and how you influence many others to follow your lead. You are an innovator, speak up, and speak your truth. Don’t allow yourself to be talked over, life will grant you many opportunities, up to you to take them.
7th House: Watch out, people are going to fall in love with you. Whether it be friends, strangers, lovers, whether it be platonic or romantic you are going to touch hearts because you will find the power that comes with love. Throughout it all, you move because you are moved. You don’t take those special steps towards greatness until you are impassioned by the path you have chosen. Remember, follow your heart, let that guide you.
8th House: Your heart may feel as if it’s exploding with power and dynamite. Use all of it, the pain, the angst, the love, the beauty, use it to create, use it to propel you towards your dreams. We all know you have some of the biggest dreams known to mankind and you are possible of achieving all of them, especially in this transit. This house will experience some of the most turbulence but the growth you will experience is astronomical. Prepare for your revolution.
9th House: You’re going to feel a little bit lost during this transit, you of course have your intuition to guide you. Even if you feel like you have never used your intuition, you have, and it’s powerful with this conjunction. You will feel that invisible pull, pay attention to your dreams, pay attention to how your body reacts to certain situations. You should spend a lot of time with yourself if possible, check-in, and understand who you are and where you’re going.
10th House: Congratulations, you will benefit the most (in my personal opinion) from this transit. You may feel as if you’re experiencing a full 180 and as if all your progress has gotten you nowhere but it hasn’t. In fact, you are on a path to greatness and all you need to do is learn how to welcome what’s coming and accept it. Don’t block your own blessings by ignoring your true path. This is going to be an emotional journey, don’t fight it!!!!
11th House: There is a grand revolution occurring in your life, yes life is flipping you upside down because you have the personal power to achieve what you desire because of the work you continuously put in towards your own greatness. You have made some intense progress and now is the time to be rewarded for it. Teach your skills to those who need them, help guide others on this path of life. It’ll all come back to bless you.
12th House: Twelfth house transits are usually the hardest as this will affect the deepest wounds of your psyche and pull out what you have hidden away and thought to have drifted into the deepest part of your memory. This is all for good reason, all of this will transform you into what you thought you could never be. You tend to doubt your own power and this transit wants to show you how incredibly mighty you are.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷
Conjunction in Relation to the Signs [Check Rising, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, & Mars]:
Aries: This conjunction will cause you to think outside of the box, of course, you usually do but now is the time to use this energy for a cause rather than just yourself. Try to assist others and build up with them.
Taurus: Life won’t always go as planned and thats to show within this occurrence, find out how you can adapt to the situations rather than shut down. This transit is pushing you out of your comfort zone towards growth through flexibility.
Gemini: You are prepared for this conjunction, maybe even the most prepared. Your life is all about change, in fact, you aren’t comfortable when confined and prefer change to stability. Try not to get too ahead of yourself, try to discover what you desire most and go after it.
Cancer: The energy presented during this conjunction may feel as if it’s opposed to your own, your journey is to find that sweet balance amongst it all. Whether it be with work, family, love, or just simply life. Seek that balance.
Leo: You are definitely about to be shaken up for the better but some stressful days are coming your way however there is good news. You are powerful, powerful enough to jump over these hurdles and understand there is beauty in the pain, you just have to seek it.
Virgo: Now is not the time to restrict yourself (as you usually do). You have a side to you that is unconventional and free and it will come out during this transit so you should welcome it! Attempt to let loose and let your hair down. Dance, sing, paint, participate in what sets you free.
Libra: I understand that you are the sign of beauty, however, things will get ugly! Don’t run from your emotions this transit, they will make you feel more than you desire to feel, but this will all go into making your soul more beautiful than it already is! Feel all the feels.
Scorpio: Your personal evolution is a little slow and catered towards yourself (as it should be) however, this period of time will force you to evolve and grow faster than you thought you ever could. Embrace it rather than hide from it, you are capable of accomplishing so much more in little time.
Sagittarius: You’re going to feel this intense sensation of freedom and this can easily overwhelm you and burn you out if you don’t pace yourself! Think long and hard about where you want to go and what you want to be and then move. Impulsivity is strong this transit, don’t let it get you into trouble
Capricorn: You were pushed to your limit with the last Saturn/Jupiter transition and you put in so much work towards your development. Now you can use those special skills acquired for this transit. Your job here is to learn to let go and simply be. You cannot control life itself, you can only control yourself!
Aquarius: It’s your age! Now life won’t be easy because of this, in fact, you will be removed from your [fixed sign] comfort zone and propelled out into the world because you are leading this revolution. You are meant to act as a teacher, encourage, embrace, inspire! Speak your mind, manifest, create beauty. You are unstoppable during this time, try not to let all this energy go to waste.
Pisces: You may feel as if you’re floating throughout this transit and your task is to find your footing. Stay on earth because you are meant to learn from what is happening, analyze it, pay attention. This is a period of intense change and you should not miss it.

Personal Predictions: A move towards equality in aspects of human life; justice for people of color [victims of police brutality, children in cages, those harmed through immigration, women in the face of gender oppression, & more], LGBTQA+ acceptance and openness [The Rise of Queerness], Wealth equality [class uprisings]. Restaurants transitioning to cruelty-free, vegan/vegetarian options, specifically fast-food businesses. Throwing away the tradition of family [Nuclear family, traditional pregnancy processes, finding family rather than being born into one].

Our Lady of Sorrows
(Liturgical Colour: White)
(Readings for the memorial)
(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Wednesday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
First Reading
Hebrews 5:7-9
Christ learned obedience and became the source of eternal salvation.
In the days when Christ was in the flesh, he offered prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered; and when he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 31:2 and 3b, 3cd-4, 5-6, 15-16, 20
R/ Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
In you, O LORD, I take refuge;  let me never be put to shame. In your justice rescue me,  make haste to deliver me!
R/ Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
Be my rock of refuge,  a stronghold to give me safety. You are my rock and my fortress;  for your name’s sake you will lead and guide me.
R/ Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
You will free me from the snare they set for me,  for you are my refuge. Into your hands I commend my spirit;  you will redeem me, O LORD, O faithful God.
R/ Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
But my trust is in you, O LORD,  I say, “You are my God.” In your hands is my destiny; rescue me  from the clutches of my enemies and my persecutors.
R/ Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
How great is your goodness, O LORD,  which you have in store for those who fear you, And which, toward those who take refuge in you,  you show in the sight of the children of men.
R/ Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
Sequence
Stabat Mater
At the cross her station keeping, Stood the mournful Mother weeping, Close to Jesus to the last.
Through her heart, his sorrow sharing, All his bitter anguish bearing, Now at length the sword had passed.
Oh, how sad and sore distressed Was that Mother highly blessed Of the sole begotten One!
Christ above in torment hangs, She beneath beholds the pangs Of her dying, glorious Son.
Is there one who would not weep, ‘Whelmed in miseries so deep, Christ’s dear Mother to behold?
Can the human heart refrain From partaking in her pain, In that mother’s pain untold?
Bruised, derided, cursed, defiled, She beheld her tender Child, All with bloody scourges rent.
For the sins of his own nation Saw him hang in desolation Till his spirit forth he sent.
O sweet Mother! font of love, Touch my spirit from above, Make my heart with yours accord.
Make me feel as you have felt; Make my soul to glow and melt With the love of Christ, my Lord.
Holy Mother, pierce me through, In my heart each wound renew Of my Savior crucified.
Let me share with you his pain, Who for all our sins was slain, Who for me in torments died.
Let me mingle tears with you, Mourning him who mourned for me, All the days that I may live.
By the cross with you to stay, There with you to weep and pray, Is all I ask of you to give.
Virgin of all virgins blest! Listen to my fond request: Let me share your grief divine.
Let me to my latest breath, In my body bear the death Of that dying Son of yours.
Wounded with his every wound, Steep my soul till it has swooned In his very Blood away.
Be to me, O Virgin, nigh, Lest in flames I burn and die, In his awful judgment day.
Christ, when you shall call me hence, Be your Mother my defense, Be your cross my victory.
While my body here decays, May my soul your goodness praise, Safe in heaven eternally. Amen. (Alleluia)
Gospel Acclamation
Alleluia, alleluia. Blessed are you, O Virgin Mary; without dying you won the martyr’s crown beneath the Cross of the Lord. Alleluia, alleluia.

How that loving mother was pierced with grief and anguish when she saw the sufferings of her Son (Stabat Mater).
Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Wednesday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
First Reading
1 Timothy 3:14-16
Undeniably great is the mystery of devotion.
Beloved: I am writing you, although I hope to visit you soon. But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the Church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth. Undeniably great is the mystery of devotion,
Who was manifested in the flesh,   vindicated in the spirit,   seen by angels,   proclaimed to the Gentiles,   believed in throughout the world,   taken up in glory.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 111:1-2, 3-4, 5-6
R/ How great are the works of the Lord!
I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart   in the company and assembly of the just. Great are the works of the LORD,   exquisite in all their delights.
R/ How great are the works of the Lord!
Majesty and glory are his work,   and his justice endures forever. He has won renown for his wondrous deeds;   gracious and merciful is the LORD.
R/ How great are the works of the Lord!
He has given food to those who fear him;   he will forever be mindful of his covenant. He has made known to his people the power of his works,   giving them the inheritance of the nations.
R/ How great are the works of the Lord!
Gospel Acclamation

Tell us about yourself!
Yikes! So I didn't really know where to begin with this one, Well I was born on the banks of the river... Nah! So I googled “fun get to know me questions” and the resulting questionnaire had 371 questions. I decided to answer the first 100!
Strap yourself in, because HERE WE GO!
1. What is your full name?
Red is Riding ;)
2. What does your name mean?
Funny story, so I actually created this alias to partake in some underground hedonistic activities. When I went to start my Tumblr I just decided to use the same one because I’m not very creative and didn’t want to make up a new one. I never thought that this blog would become as popular as it has, and now I couldn’t be bothered changing the name. It does make me laugh though, if only you people knew what I used to get up to under this alias.
3. Are you named after anyone?
Little Red Riding Hood?
4. Does your name make any interesting anagrams?
I don’t think so, but maybe someone smarter than me could figure it out.
5. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
I would probably change my real first name if I could as unfortunately I share it with a reasonably well known facist.
6. Where are you from?
A small European country.
7. Where were you born?
In the capital city of that small European country.
8. Where did you grow up?
In the suburbs of the capital of that small European country.
9. Who did you look like growing up?
A member of the band Hanson, if they had red hair and wore those terrible 2000’s wire rimmed glasses.
10.What are your best characteristics?
Oh gosh, isn’t it embarrassing to talk about your good traits? Especially when the way you see yourself is often so different from the way others see you.
11.What are your favorite things about yourself?
Honestly, I’ve great boobs.
12.Which of your parents are you closest to?
Depends on my mood.
13.Which of your parents are you more like?
I think physically I’m more like my mother, but my character is closer to my father.
14.Are your grandparents still married?
Yep, on one side. On the other side my grandad is dead and has been for a very long time.
15.What relative was important to you growing up & why?
I guess my grandparents, they are the only members of the extended family I ever really saw growing up. I was never close to my uncles, and my aunts and cousins all live in different countries.
16.What is one thing that you’ve never revealed to your parents?
Anything about my love life, we just don’t talk about it. Ever!
17.What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender?
I’m actually not sure. I know they had lots of other traditionally female names picked out, but I don’t know any male names they had for me. I’m not sure if they knew early on if I was going to be a girl, would make sense though.
18.What do you call your grandparents?
I call one of my grandmother’s by her first name, and my grandad, grandad.
19.What is your best physical feature?
My boobs!…I have pretty eyes too.
20.What is your biggest accomplishment?
Probably getting into University and graduating top of my class.
21.What is your biggest fear?
Having all my joints simultaneously dislocate.
22.What is your biggest regret?
The way I’ve treated certain people over the years.
23.What is your eye colour?
Blue.
24.What inspires you?
Hope that tomorrow can be better.
25.What is the most important thing in your life?
My family, and my future.
26.What has required the most courage of you in your life so far?
Hummm, I’m really not sure about this one.
27.Who is your favourite actor?
I truly could not name a single actor.
28.Who is your favourite actress?
As above.
29.Who is your favourite celebrity?
I genuinely have no idea.
30.Who is your favourite musician?
Lorde has been getting me through this quarantine, but my favourite singer/band is/are Florence + the Machine. Maybe that dates me.
31.Who’s your favourite person in the world?
I can’t choose just one!
32.What is your favourite childhood memory?
I’m very lucky, I had a really marvellous childhood. I guess I have some great memories of playing with my brother as a child, but I’m not sure I have a favourite memory.
33.What is your favourite colour?
Teal.
34.What is your favourite cultural activity?
I love going to the theatre.
35.What is your favourite drink?
Water is the thing I drink most often. I don’t like tea or coffee, and I only drink alcohol in social settings not alone of an evening.
36.What is your favourite fairytale?
I’m actually not sure. I know it’s not quite the same but I was never allowed to watch the Disney princess films growing up (a lot of which are based on fairytales) so I can’t say I am particularly attached on any. Although, in answering this question I have remembered by blog name so I probably should say Little Red Riding Hood.
37.What is your favourite food?
Potatoes, they are so wonderfully versatile, I will never get bored eating them.

Ice cream does not agree with me at all, I always thought I was lactose intolerant because of it (I’m not), but I did love a pistachio ice cream as a kid.
40.What is your favourite music genre?
According to Spotify my most listened to genre is “alternative” whatever that means.
41.What is your favourite physical activity?
Hiking.
42.What is your favourite quote?
I don’t believe I have one. I do know someone who has “live laugh love” tattooed on their foot. Take from that what you will.
43.What is your favourite snack?
Tbh I don't really snack (am I coming across as awfully boring in these questions?) I love three big meals a day. I will eat an apple or something if I need something pre dinner.
44.What is your favourite song?
Either Fascination by Alphabeat, Prayer in C by Lily Wood and the Prick, and Robin Schulz, or Brimful of Asha by Cornershop, the Fat Boy Slim Remix. Those songs never fail to put me in a good mood when I need it.
45.What is your favourite sport?
To watch? Rugby. But I am OBSESSED with the Olympics, especially the winter olympics.
46.What is your favourite time of the day?
Early evening.
47.What is your favourite type of clothing?
Dresses…with pockets! Or jumpers, I love a big wooly jumper.
48.What is your favourite way to pass time?
Read.
49.What is the name of your favourite restaurant?
My favourite restaurant is called Dishoom, but unfortunately it has yet to make it to my little European country, so it’s a real treat if I get to eat there.
50.What is your all-time favourite town or city? Why?
I don’t have one.
51.What is your favourite candle scent?
Probably a classic vanilla, but not an overpowering one. The vanilla candle from IKEA is the NICEST.
52.What is your favourite social media channel?
Probably Twitter, although Tumblr is my place for escape.
53.Where’s your favourite place to take an out-of-town guest?
Ugh I hate being the one to choose where we go. I think it’s because I’m a Libra.
54.What was your favourite subject in High School?
Okay now this is a fun fact, I didn’t actually go to school. I was “Home Educated” which is ideologically different form being Home Schooled. There was no curriculum for me to follow so I could basically dick about doing whatever I wanted during the day. I did study Law which I really enjoyed, and I went onto study it at University.
55.What was your least favourite subject in High School?
Again see above. Although I do remember crying every time my father tried to teach me maths. To this day, I’m still not sure how to work out a percentage, let alone anything more advanced than that.
56.What was your favourite TV show when you were a child?
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the Melissa Joan Heart version) or anything with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in it (have I dated myself again?)
57.What do you love about your favourite TV Show?
They were fun. I wanted to be them!
58.Are you scared of heights?
Nope, but I’m scared of falling and shattering all the bones in my legs.

Definitely not.
60.Are you more inclined to “build your own empire” or unleash the potential of others?
I don’t know what this means, but fuck imperialism.
61.Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?
Ugh, I hate conflict, like I go all trembly, but if there is something amiss I can’t not confront it.
62.Are you a dog person or cat person?
I really adore animals, I had hoped to get a cat during this long and lonely lockdown but my landlord wasn’t keen. If I had more time and space I would love to get a dog, it’s just not feasible in my life at the moment.
63.Are you a fan of any sports team?
Just my national team no matter what the sport.
64.Are you a good cook?
I like to think so.
65.Are you an early adopter or late-adopter?
Depends. I don’t always love change.
66.If you had more courage what would you do differently in your life now?
I don’t think having more courage would change anything in my life right now.
67.What is good about how you are living your life right now?
Oh gosh, I’m so incredibly lucky to have the like that I am living right now. Truly blessed, but at the same time, I have got here because of all my hard work and determination.
68.If you could eliminate one weakness or limitation in your life, what would it be?
I’m not sure if this strictly answers the question, but I wish I could be kinder and more sympathetic to people. I can be harsh on people I care about because I want to see them do well in life and get frustrated when they are doing things that so obviously curtails their ability. I’ve lost friends because of it.
69.Who has left the most impact on your life?
I don’t think I can name just one person.
70.What aspect of your life needs tremendous improvement?
My love life. It’s not existent. Truly. I don’t even have a far away crush on anyone at the moment. I desperately want to experience romantic love, but it’s scary and you have to allow yourself to be soft and vulnerable which is not something that I am very good at. I also have a lot of negative thoughts/self doubts about whether I am good enough to be in a relationship, or worthy enough for love. It’s stupid, obviously, everyone, flaws and all is worthy of love, but because of things that have happened/been said to me I do kind of have this negative chatter of “who could ever love me” or fear people thinking “god love the poor guy who ends up with her.” All that said, I have never actually met anyone who I’ve really liked, let alone anyone who has liked me back. The closest I’ve got, is I’ve been in lust twice in my life with guys, who objectively speaking, I would never think I would be attracted to.
71.What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen in your life?
I’ve see a lot of weird things tbh, but the first one that springs to mind is that every year we used to go to these big gatherings of families who home educate their children. Now, there are two groups of people that tend to home educate their children 1) EXTREMELY religious families who don’t want their children going to secular schools, and 2) new age hippies who don’t want their children to have to conform to the rigours of school. When these two groups meet…it is interesting. The religious families usually have a lot of children (10+ in many cases), while the hippy families wander around semi-nude and breast feed their children until their grown (7+ years in many cases). So at these home education conferences, the hippy parents would be wandering around, leaky boobs out, and the religious babies would be wandering around because their parents have too many children to keep track of. Whenever one of these babies wandered within range of the hippy parents, they’d take them, and latch them onto their breasts. Absolutely bizarre stuff.
72.Who is the best teacher you’ve ever had?
Myself.
73.Who is the biggest pack rat you know?
I don’t know what this means.
74.Who is the first person you call when something exciting happens?
If it’s a big enough deal to call someone, I’ll call my parents, but usually if something exciting happens I’ll just message my friend group.
75.Who is the first person you call when something horrible happens?
Same as above.
76.Who is the worst boss you’ve ever had?
I had to sue her to get her and her husband to pay me for the work I did.
77.Can you close your eyes and raise your eyebrows?
Yep? Can you not?
78.Can you do a split?
No, but I want to learn! I have really tight hamstrings so that would be good to stretch them.
79.Can you touch your nose with your tongue?
No. Can you?
80.Can you whistle?
Yeah.
81.Can you dance?
Everyone can dance, the question is whether you can dance well or not! I have no rhythm or style, but get me on a dance floor and I’ll bop my socks off.
82.Do you remember your dreams?
Sometimes.
83.Do you save old greeting cards and letters? Throw them away?
I save them for a while, but I’m not overly sentimental.
84.Do you sing in the shower?
Never.
85.Do you sleep with the lights on or off?
Off.
86.Do you spell the colour as grey or gray?
Grey you weirdo!
87.Do you take any pills or medication daily?
Never.
88.Do you prefer kissing or cuddling?
I like kissing because it’s hot and fiery and I think I’m reasonably good at it. Cuddling is the best but it’s something I struggle with as I find it far too intimate. See my answer to Q70.
89.Do you prefer that people shoot straight with you or temper their words? Why?
Hit me between the eyeballs with the truth, please! I just like people who are clear and direct about their intentions, it means everyone knows where they stand.
90.Do you prefer Titanic or The Notebook?
I saw a black and white documentary about the Titanic when I was a very small child (maybe about 5 or 6) and for a long time I thought that was the movie Titanic! I have seen neither the real film Titanic nor the Notebook, although from what I know of the latter I don’t think it would be my thing.
91.Do you have a catchphrase?
I don’t think so, but maybe people in my life would be better at answering this question. What is it that I say a lot?
92.Do you have a garden?
I wish!
93.Do you have a hidden dream that you’ve never shared with anyone?
I’m taking this to mean a goal or aspiration, and not something that I have subconsciously dreamed and been too embarrassed to share? I would love to write a book one day. I’m work on something periodically but I’m not sure if anything will ever come from it, a gal can dream though!
94.Do you have a tattoo?
None! I’m kind of a commitment-phobe, I’m not sure if you’ve noticed?
95.Do you have a whole lot of acquaintances or just a few very close friends? Why?
Both! I know lots of people in passing, but the people I consider actual friends, who know what is going on in my life at any given time, I could count on my fingers.
96.Do you have any allergies?
Not that I’m aware of…
97.Do you have any birthmarks? If so, where?
I used to have one on my back, but it’s faded as I’ve aged.
98.Do you have pets?
Not at the moment.
99.Do you hold any convictions that you would be willing to die for?
That is a big question. I think however, if there was a guarantee, that sacrificing my life would make the lives of others immeasurably better, I would be scarified. I have plenty of convictions that I’m willing to protest/riot/go to prison for.
100.Do you carry a donor card?
Bit ominous after Q99 but yes I do, and my driver’s licence states that I’m a donor.
I’m not sure if this is at all what you were hoping for in asking this, but I honestly had the best fun answering these questions! :)
