Beside the photograph of a gaunt, pale face spattered with blood and lips torn into a Glasgow smile was a bloodied object, crumpled and stained almost to the point of unrecognition. Another photo showed the object shoved into the woman’s mouth. While Harry leaned forward to get a closer look, Louis scrunched up his nose and purposefully kept his gaze locked on his computer screen, refusing to so much as glance at the gruesome images the rest of the team examined. “What is that?” Zayn frowned. “Is that a tarot card?”

The Behavioral Analysis Unit gets called in to help a small town police department find the killer leaving behind a string of victims with a particularly jarring signature. FBI profiler Harry Styles must work with his team to uncover the unsub responsible for a slew of gruesome murders and just might discover his own hidden feelings for BAU Technical Analyst Louis Tomlinson along the way.

Prompt 566: An AU where Harry is a violinist and he’s first chair so he’s in the spot light. Louis has the lead in the ballet and Harry can’t help but stare at him during the practices. It’s really cute cause Louis pins after him too and they steal glances from one another. They’re both entranced by each other’s talent. idk but this screams u to me

Heyyy so when do you think you’ll post the champagne problems fic I am literally like at the edge of my seat for it I am excited for anything you working on period

hi sugar!!! i am always switching between fics that i’m writing so i never know 100% which one i will post next until i’m in deep, but it is one of my top 3! right now my entire motivation is hyper fixed on my uni fic & that’s at 17k right now. champagne probs fic requires a lot more of my attention, & the last scene i wrote for it definitely needs a rewrite bc i don’t like how it took that turn & flipped my emotions. my goal is to post 3 more fics before blff2022 starts posting, & champagne girly WILL be one of them i am determined!!!

What are some of your favorite prompts from the blff this year ?

ahh i was going to wait till after all the prompts were out to show my top favs but yk what, here are some i've been eyeing pretty hard so far...

Prompt 19: Enchanted AU. Louis as Giselle and Harry as the cynical divorce lawyer, Robert. (i already have an enchanted au on my wip list but this might be the perfect excuse to finally write it lol)

Prompt 184: Harry works at an occult shop and thinks all of it is bullshit. He doesn’t believe in any of the supernatural and quite honestly is only there for his paycheck. His boss is a strange person who is always out on business, but they do pay him well. When a strange boy with a strange cat come fumbling into the shop one night, Harry’s world is turned upside down. Louis is a witch. When one night, his mentor sends him an astral message that they are in danger, he makes it his number one priority to help save them. With his familiar, he sets off on a journey, but first he needs to make a quick pit stop for some supplies at his mentors shop. Fantasy/magic/enemies to lovers AU. (this is just... everything i love??? and it's been Too Long since i've written a proper fic with supernatural/paranormal elements)

Prompt 451: The Purge AU. Louis hates the government and the only reason he’s out on purge night is to save his dumbass friend Liam. He’s being followed by his ex Harry, who’s an ex soldier and swore to keep his omega safe, even if they aren’t dating anymore. (Inspiration: Prompt 530 from the BLFF 2021) (idk if i could pull this off tbh but i Love this prompt and if not me, someone needs to write it this year!)

Prompt 485: Pack AU with childhood friends to lovers. Harry and Louis have been co-dependent best friends ever since they were puppies. Once they’re older, Harry becomes Pack Alpha and everyone can see them pining for each other. But Louis doesn’t think Harry likes him more than a simple friend and is oblivious to the fact the whole pack considers him to be Luna already despite not being mated to Harry. Basically, Louis is a lot more important than what he thinks he is. Protective Harry and Louis keeping Harry in check please! (i also already have a wip that fits with this pretty well so again: this might be the perfect excuse to actually write it!!)

i honestly need to go back and reread the full prompt list again (probably after the submission period closes) because i definitely missed some good ones but these are the ones that are appealing to me most right now!! let me know if you've seen any you'd like and would think i'd write decently 👀

would love you to do Prompt 271: An AU based on the movie “Just Go With It” where Harry is Danny and Louis is Katherine. idk i just miss u writing kid fics :(

i honestly do not remember that movie at all so i’d have to rewatch it but just going off the plot, it definitely sounds very fun and intriguing!! i honestly don’t think i can even say i’ve written a kid fic yet sjsjd all the fics i’ve written with them having kids has pretty much occurred at the end of the story so the kid doesn’t play much of a role at all :/ but i do intend to write proper kid fics one day (my enchanted au and single mum nurse louis au being two wips i already have!!) promise i’ll deliver eventually!! 😭

Omg prompt 184 ans 451 absolutely do sous so perfect for you you’d definitely do them justice, i was obsessed with the concept of the purge ( in fiction 😭) you’d do so so amazing. I’m I think while you have a niche in terms of writing abo, but I also think you are like quite versatile and they might not be your favorites but I really liked prompt 552, Prompt 549 and Prompt 542 are amongst some of my favorites, again they might be your taste I just think you’d write them beautifully

to be honest, 552 is not really my thing though it definitely sounds interesting (i hope someone picks it for you!!) but i do love 542 a lot!!🤔 549 is also really interesting but i also don't think i could pull it off as well as some other writers could (even though i like challenges, i also like to think i'm realistic about my abilities – also i just don't know if a challenge is what i even need rn because of how much my writing motivation has been lacking :() but anyways, thank you for sharing these with me!!
