i feel like it's pretty safe to assume the people who say Chaggie is toxic because of Vaggie's attachment to Charlie haven't really been deeply in love before, especially not in a situation where their partner literally saved their life.

Sure a dynamic like that could go sour if you become too overbearing/demanding or controlling out of fear of losing them, but Vaggie is very obviously not that?

I can't exactly put the feeling into words, it's sort of a situation you have to experience in order to understand. But when you owe someone your life, especially when it feels that person is also your soulmate, of course you dedicate the rest of it to making them happy and giving unyielding support. Of course you feel like you owe them the world, because they're your whole world and the only reason you're even still here.

Yes it can create a power imbalance and your partner could take advantage of the obsessive loyalty that level of dependency breeds, but Charlie chooses not to because shes not abusive and she respects and loves vaggie.

Charlie recognizes that Vaggie has self worth issues and places her value in how useful she is to her, and instead of making it into a toxic situation charlie takes the time to reassure vaggie that she doesn't need to be 'proving' herself and that she is loved and valued as she is.

#Idk chaggies dynamic mirrors me and my fiance of 10+ yrs so I'm biased and will b blocking ppl that say dumb shit probably lol #Yes it can become toxic very easily if either party chooses to make it that way but if you truly love your partner you simply #Don't? Take advantage of them?? And both parties of chaggie very clearly respect and love eachother.#And as time goes on it'll be easier for Vaggie to believe her worth outside of her relationship and accept herself #idk I see some of the discourse abt this and it's like. /SO/ clear you guys don't get it.#And that's fine bc it's really not something you can truly get if you haven't gone through it yourself #But idk how you can say with your whole chest that either Vaggie or Charlie are taking advantage of eachother #Tumblr is all for supporting ppl that are struggling until it comes down to people who actually heavily depend on that support

Finally I drew Julie, my baby!! I enjoy her quite a lot and these are the outfits I think she’ll be performing in my au. I mentioned it before in a post that she’s in a band “Joyous!” with her siblings. Might as well say a bit about the lore, basically everyone from the “Welcome Home” cast left Home and ventured into the Real World. Kinda similar to how Barbie leaves her toy world in the movie. So yeah pretty much everyone started their own music career, but Eddie and Frank started a talk show together.

I have new neighbors and today they were out in their yard (the youngest kid saw a cool bug) and their little dog was offleash so I got to meet neighbor dog! Neighbor dog is my new favorite

#the person behind the yarn #neighbor dog is small and has curly fur and tiny little corgi-esque legs #and her tail is so fluffy it drags on the ground when it's down #but she mostly walks around with her tail up and waving like a flag #absolutely adorable! I sat on the ground to greet her (to be less intimidating)#and once I passed the sniff check and she'd greeted my dad and brother too #she came back to me and flopped against my legs for more pets #I am delighted to meet her and hope I will see her again in the near future #and since she's an offleash dog and my yard is not really fenced between my house and my neighbor's #I'm sure I will lol #I do not understand offleash dogs? like. fundamentally don't get it #but also none of my childhood dogs were recall trained #and my main two dogs in childhood were A. a runner. wanted to run more than anything. if the door was open he'd run and run and run #not to get away he just really liked running #and B. my dear Wolfie who had the common sense of a block of concrete #we could not let that dog offleash because he would get lost inside the house #he got stuck up a tree once (only like a foot off the ground)#he was the size of a sort of large rabbit (another reason not to be offleash)#so he was offleash in our fenced in yard but only supervised #either by a human or by our other dog (who was both smart and scary enough to scare away other animals)#okay I guess I had three childhood dogs? I think we got Lilly when I was an adult though #Lilly could not be an offleash dog because she had an EXTREMELY high prey drive. she was a hunting dog #she was also Wolfie's bodyguard
