15: change their personality depending on the company?

Neither? They're both really happy and comfortable with who they are. Alex is the bubbly, ray of sunshine and Thomas is the pretentious grump. They kind of balance each other out. Thomas is who he is no matter the company, however he definitely shows a different side of himself with Alex, the twins, and her family.

If I had to say one, probably Alex, especially HWU Alex. HWU Alex is definitely less confident in herself and definitely feels inadequate to Hunt, but he helps her see how amazing she is and that he loves her just as she is. But even so, there are times, especially at the beginning, where Alex felt she had to be more "professional" and less "sunshine-y" when out with Thomas. But once she really got comfortable with him and realized that he didn't care what anyone thought about him or her or them, she settled into always being herself and he was proud of her for that.

18: not stay single for long?

Thomas? I headcanon in his youth there was a very short time where he gave the wild, reckless life of a model a try and in that time he was attached to several woman, but it didn't last long and they really were more flings and press opportunities. After realizing he hated that lifestyle fairly quickly, he had a couple of serious relationships but they never felt right so he kind of gave up on love until he met Alex.

Alex had a few boyfriends before Thomas. In HWU, nothing serious until Hunt. In RCD, there were a couple of relationships that meant something to her, but she focused more on her career and her goals so she was single often until Thomas, then she finally felt she found someone she couldn't live without even if it hurt or hindered her career/goals.

35: be the mom/dad friend?

Alex for sure. She definitely is a natural caregiver and someone who honestly looks out for everyone. She would definitely be the mom friend. She'd let anyone in their house that needed help

Thomas is definitely not. He cares not for what others do. He wasn't sure being a father was for him, until he met his children. The twins (and Bogart) are the only ones he wants to be a dad too.

42: have tattoos?

oo good question! I'd say Alex. I headcanon that Alex has 2 very small tattoos that are so small and discrete that the press has never seen them. She has a small infinity symbol with T and A entwined. And she has kids initials but they're small and in script so it looks more like a design than letters (similar to these)

I don't see Thomas as having any tattoos. I considered him getting the twins initials or names too but I don't see it. If anything, Felicity might convince him to get a father-daugther tattoo one day and he is so wrapped around her finger, she just might convince him!

Happy fandom anniversary !!! I just want to say I’m so happy you’re in this fandom! Fun fact: You (and Thomas Hunt 🙈) are one of the main reasons I joined the fandom! I was looking up Thomas Hunt fanfiction about a year ago (? i think lol) and I found your Tumblr. Until then, I hadn’t really realized there even was a Choices fandom! After reading some more Choices stories (mainly Open Heart and now WTD) I was so happy to be able to read your works for those stories as well!! 💕 But Thomas and Alex will always have a special place in my heart.

My heart will always belong to Thomas and Alex as well. I do adore the other pairings I write for. Bryce and Olivia come a close second, but Thomas and Alex are something very special to me. They helped me when I was in a very dark place and I just owe them a lot. They mean the world to me. It is definitely discouraging to see how much the fandom has changed and how so many people don't read or engage like they use to. I've thought about leaving so many times. I still think about leaving, but I just can't. I love Thomas and Alex too much. I will keep writing them even if no one reads it. I just need them in my life.

23: always be late?

I'm not sure how many fics I've written where this occurs, but it's quite frequently. Alex is notoriously late! Or rather, fashionably late!

It used to drive Thomas insane, because I HC that he's never been late a day in his life. He's not early. He is precise.

Thomas has learned to give a little and accept the times she is late (because she's worth the wait) but Alex has also tried to be more mindful of time and is late much less frequently

40: break the rules?

Alex! She doesn't break any major rules or laws, just little ones. She likes to exploit the grey areas in things and just bend rules slightly.

Thomas is far more the rule follower. (But, Alex definitely pushes him to push his limits a bit and have fun)

44: become a good parent?

Both! Both Thomas and Alex are amazing parents.

Thomas was a little nervous and hesitant at first. He wasn't sure he could do it. But once his children were born, he was completely captivated by them and would do anything to care for and protect them.

45: change outfits five times before going out?

Alex!

In her defense, she wasn't as bad with this before meeting Addison! After Addison, she really just learned to h ave too much fun trying things on

Once she has the twins, she's lucky if she leaves with something clean on lol (she and Thomas really try to live a "normal" life and don't hire nannies or anyone to really help with the kids. They want to be the most present parents they can given the lives they live)

specifically for your hollywood u verse- what kind of films did alex make/star in while she was attending college? what was her senior thesis film?

With Alex's sunshine, bubbly personality she was cast in a lot of romantic lead roles as the girl next door type or the country to city girl while attending college. She had fun with them and liked that they always had a happy ending. However, she definitely felt unfulfilled and wanted something with more depth and heart.

I think her senior thesis film would either be a film that raises awareness of a social issue through the plot's narrative and the genuine and heartfelt acting... or a short aesthetic film on coffee (no words, just shots of coffee brewing, mixing milk in coffee, steam coming off of the hot cup, aka satisfying images related to coffee... ending with her taking a sip of coffee and a satisfied mmm, close up on her lips smiling).

But the second one might just be for fun to see how Hunt reacts when he finds out she wasted her time making a film about coffee. Though he'll be impressed with the film's composition and how well it actually came out.

Thomas has always and will always be pretentious and a film snob. He made artsy films with interesting camera angles, lighting, tones, subjects. He was very concerned with his mise-en-scène and carefully and painstakingly crafted each frame of his films. Students and actors who worked on his films hated how meticulous he was and how he treated each project like the next Citizen Kane!

I also headcanon that Thomas spent hours studying Orson Welles so you can definitely see Welles' influence on him, especially his early work, until he finds his rhythm and becomes a famed director in his own right.

Thomas definitely made films that he felt mattered. Nothing fluffy. No blockbusters or big hits. Nothing that relied on CGI or any kind of graphic editing. Everything in his films was genuine and authentic. He wanted to tell stories that had heart while making films that were visually stimulating and pushed what was normal.

I'm going to say Thomas. Although he is good with directions, his aversion to technology will cause him to get lost from time to time. I also don't see Thomas as someone who stops to ask for directions either lol

Luckily he has Alex who has the GPS and Google Maps ready when Thomas finally admits defeat!

I headcanon that in his youth, Thomas was a bit reckless. Even though he hated his modeling days, there was a time where he got caught up in the fame and excess that came with that life. He actually attended parties and pushed limits. It was here where his love of sports cars came from, but then he was very reckless with them. Fortunately, that period of his life was short lived once he realized everyone around him were idiots.

His love of sports cars remains, but he is more responsible with them. However, that time period did help him better understand cars, so he's actually an exceptional driver.

Alex is definitely more of a distracted driver. She's a great and responsible driver, but can get a bit distracted if her favorite song comes on the radio 📻 🎶 🖤

If she couldn't end up with Thomas, who would Alex have chosen?

Uh.... no?.

I don't understand this configuration of words. What do you mean if she didn't end up with Thomas. She must! It's the rules (and I don't make those up... lol)

There is no universe in which Alex does not find Thomas (or vice versa). No matter their occupations, where they live, or when it happens, they are destined to be together always. If Thomas doesn't exist in her universe, she'll somehow find a universe where there is not an Alex and they will fall in love. My OTP is forever in every universe and in all timeline across the multiverse!

....but if I really really reallyyyyyyy had to choose, for the sake of this hypothetical never to exist decision... Alex would choose Addison. Even then, I don't think it would ever work out. I think Alex would give it a try. I think they'd have fun together, but grow apart romantically and just remain friends. Alex belongs with Thomas, always and forever. He is her one true love.

Alex is definitely the most likely to be given detention by Hunt who is the most likely to give detention.

Alex definitely had detention more than once with him. Hunt's way of keeping Alex away was to give her detention. It's not logical since it just meant they spent more time together, but he thought he was punishing her and making her not want to be around him. But it really just brought them closer together. Later, Alex got detention often but for different reasons... 😏

I know, wrong book series, but I don't think she fits in any one house.

Alex is courageous and confident like a Gryffindor. She's ambitious and determined like a Slytherin. She's intelligent and values learning like a Ravenclaw. She's loyal, hardworking, patient, and kind like a Hufflepuff. Alex is a perfect mix of the four houses. But I think she'd ask the sorting hat to put her in Hufflepuff. At the end of the day, Alex treasures her loyalty and devotion to the people she loves most of all.

Felicity is very much like her father. They have a very strong and special bond. She takes after him in many ways. She does have characteristics in her personality from Alex, but as far as houses go, I definitely think she'd be proud to follow her father into Ravenclaw.

Vincent is brave, daring, courageous and confident. He is sure of himself and he is proud of his accomplishments. Unlike his parents, he is somewhat athletic and would enjoy representing the Gryffindor quidditch team

He lives for adventure and is always ready to try new things and explore new places. He knows how to have fun and get into a litlte bit of trouble (but not too much). And when there is a treat involved (or belly rubs) He is very determined!

Bogart! Bogart is the social media darling of the family! I mean Alex definitely has the most followers, but Bogart's account is her favorite and the one she actually takes the most pride in. Thomas has an instagram because his manager makes him maintain one, but he refuses to use it except for forced promotional information. Though once he finds Bogart's pictagram, he makes the occasional comment on his posts. He not so secretly loves Bogart so he enjoys seeing all the fun things Alex gets him to do.
