Day 28/365 of creating art everyday for a year!

today I tried biro pen art, honestly didn't love it and disliked the end result but I'm here to learn and it did give me practice which I am grateful for

can't believe I'm almost one month down!!

I finally remembered how to draw again😭

Idk but the drawing mood just struck me, usually I just do halfassed doodles to pass the time. But I think I’m finally getting back to my art era.

Some LOZ doodles, all the blue were done earlier, and the grey ones are just some doodles with more effort put into them.

I don’t really use pencil anymore, since I don’t dedicate much time to actually drawing. Now I think I’m going to start trying to get better with my art, I haven’t really been drawing daily or even regularly since 6th grade…. But i clearly still got it if I whipped those out in the middle of my economics work😭‼️

My art style seems inconsistent but really I just don’t put much effort into my doodles, I just default to cartoon😭😭

Thank you so much! That means a lot! I'm assuming you mean with my traditional art sketches I've been posting recently. (I'm trying to finish up a old sketch book, I'm so close!) But honestly I go back and forth between being super neat or super messy and rough with my sketches, it just depends on my mood I guess. When my sketches are clean tho, I just draw very very lightly, which is something I had to learn how to do being naturally heavy handed, but it helps because after the gesture drawing is done and I start finalizing my lines, the draft sketch eventually fades away after working on it. A easier way is to get a pencil, lightly sketch the gesture, and getting a ball point ink pen to finalize your lines. Hopefully that helps, but draw however and whatever makes you most comfortable! Remember to take care of those wrists!
