I love and hate holidays....

Don't get me wrong, presents are nice, snow is awesome and hells yeah for all the food. But I am sitting here listening to Michael Buble crooning x mas songs and I can't help but feel rather down. In a couple a weeks I will have yet another birthday, doing nothing special, being alone per usual. I will have more holiday parties where I'm the only adult sitting alone, least the only one below the age of 50. More teasing from my cousins, more depressing looks from my aunts. It is really a mood killer. I'm going to be 26 in less than 2 weeks and I'm alone. Not even someone I can drag to holiday parties as a friend. Fuck the gifts, fuck the cheer, I just want love. I just want to find that special someone. Why is that too much to ask for?
