Hello and welcome to I'm Actually Insane

In the wake of all of the character polls there are, I’m making my own, but with an entirely different premise. You see, I am not home nearly enough to collect responses about what characters you want to see- so you get to see all of them

Anyways, hi I'm Mars, he/they pronouns, and I'll be your host for this shitshow

As hinted at before- this is not about sexy characters or silly characters or the characters with the most gender- nonono. We are going to decide which MCD character is the best and deserved better. Because they all deserved better, but who was great despite it? Who deserves character development as a prize?

And since this will include every single character I can find from MCD ( 180 named characters ) we'll be having what is essentially mini-brackets beforehand to whittle down the numbers, and then those winners will be randomized into a 32x32 bracket. The main characters do get a bit of a boost, as I will be acting as if their seeds are the highest, therefore they will not come in until round 3.

There will (most likely) be a losers bracket at the end to find the character that is the worst, is absolutely awful, and deserves much less than they got :)

I have my own opinions about this, I have my bets on who’ll win and lose over all, but I actually want to see what tumblr thinks abt my silly little special interest <3

That being said: I do not support Aphmau!! I like her series, but I can, will, and do criticize them often. She has nothing to do with any of this. This is not an advertisement.

The Big MCD Character Bracket

This is the Minecraft Diaries poll to end all Minecraft Diaries polls, we are going to pit all 180 named characters against each other to figure out who is the best

I made a longer post explaining what is going on in more detail here

This is obviously not the end of Round One, but I unfortunately cannot spend all day on the Hellsite /aff, so I will try to get the posts for the 12 other groups up tomorrow, and if that doesn't work- the day after

Maybe you could mix up the ties so ? I don’t know which ones are tied so making up a random example:

zane vs vylad and garroth vs laurence tie, so tie breakers are zane vs garroth and laurence vs vylad

The current tiebreakers are gonna be between: Blaze, Michi, Gabriel, Jacob, Amethyst, and Gene. So we could absolutely play ring-around-the-rosy with them order-wise

All round one polls have now been posted!! Incredibly exciting!!

With that, however, has come a few issues. Excluding the results of the 15 or so polls I posted tonight- we have three ties?? And I believe we have one more winner than we were supposed to, but that's completely on me.

How would we like to handle the ties? My default is idea is just to re-poll them, but if y'all have any more interesting ways you want to deal with this, let me know!

We are officially half-way through round one! And life has been nuts. Midterms and all that. Anyways, the plan is to get a few groups up today, but as of right now, I'm not gonna make any promises as to when this round will end. Once we get to the smaller rounds, I'll likely get them out in a day or two at most- but I will hark back to the 180 named characters we have to get through right now.

Um, anyways! We officially have 58 winners, and we should get two more winners out of the ties to make Round Two an even 30x30 round! The tie rounds will be up today, and the second round should start to be posted either by the middle of this week or next weekend.
