‘fic my friends/mutuals might write in the Tudors OT3 verse universe’

@eidetictelekinetic listen I wrote the entire Handmaid In OT3 Verse Story (it’s an OT4) and obviously also there’s a daemon au you write Kate but I also feel like there’s an extensively plotted version of Standing Outside The Fire.

@herawell obviously the Mary Tudor POV of the entire journey to acceptance which is kind of a different take in fandom which tends to either have her embrace it, be unaware or be a cartoon villain (or angel).

@boleynecklace is absolutely (a) rocking the edits and (b) writing a series of fic about the Robert/Elizabeth angst with a happy ending year (1547). I also feel like a ‘EOY lives to see her grandchildren born’ happens.

@nocompromise-noregrets okay other than writing the loveliest Barduil AU set in Tudor England (famously in universe Barduil is canon + Lee Pace has a guest star part/cameo as Thomas Cromwell in a Tudor Mystery Show) and also is actually probably writing an epic about a ‘what if Liz Cromwell and her daughters lived’ OT4

an announcement about my stories.

The (scheduled) timing of chapter 8 of "Crazy for this girl" yesterday was a horrible one. I might delete it and post again when the time is right, along with the following 9th. At the moment, I declare that story as "postponed". Might write new parts and post them on here again once the shock we all feel wears off a little.

I am also thinking of deleting "Little pieces" story as I find it a cursed one at the moment, I have written it back in 2019 so there's no use thinking about it in that 'cursed' way apparently, but still I'm getting that sense, and it makes me feel terrible. Let me know what you think about it, and help me in making a good decision.

This is for Fire Meet Gasoline, my Poe Dameron x Solo!oc story which is on ao3/wattpad. Considering this is all virtually all dialogue I've done seven little paragraph chunks instead of sentences. This is essentially set right before L'ulo's death, they'd fallen asleep talking about their mission (an excuse to have an innocent sleepover) until she woke up from a nightmare, so they're up late talking.

“It’s why I ended up in the Outer Rims in the first place, I was looking for the Falcon," I tell Poe. "When I heard it was stolen I just wanted to get it back, it felt like the last piece of my family that I could get back. I grew up on that ship, I learned to fly in it, hell I was born in it. You can’t understand a connection like that unless you have it and it- it's the only place that's ever truly felt like home. Flying... it's the one place I feel truly alive.”

There's an awestruck look in Poe's eye as he agrees "Exactly. Ever since I was a kid I always said I belonged to the stars and no one else understood it.”

“Yes,” I exclaim, leaning in from beside him as he puts into words what I've struggled to even name for years. “All that time I spent at university or on Ossus... my mom always said I was restless but it’s more than that, it was just never where my heart belonged."

“My dad, he could never understand it," he reminisces, the space that was once between us in the bed now non-existent. "Why at a moment's notice I’d just want to take off whenever we had a fight. It just felt like the only place to go and no one ever understood. My heart... it's just always belonged to the stars.”

“I do,” I breathe, his fingers lacing with mine as I rest my head beside his. "I understand."

His eyes are bright and my heart aches, the agony only worsening the closer his lips are to mine and yet... I've never felt such blinding light. “I know you do.”

Our breathing's unsteady as our joined hands rest atop his chest and it terrifies me, because in this moment there's no denying that our hearts burn the same, belong to the same star that burnt out so long ago only for us to be here now; lying in each other's arms with no more words needing to be spoken.

Listen I can’t read much but @emilykaldwen writes such gorgeous descriptive but so grounded and solid world feeling stories/AUs in the ASOIAF fandom. The characterisation is so good and I care so much about these characters I really don’t know - and that is such a skill.

Also @star-anise like LIS. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS PROSE.

I am probably biased again and also I can’t necessarily read much but I think @ruffboijuliaburnsides aka Mags aka my Knight Friend is such a good writer of words, of worlds. Same with @jackironsides

Grishaverse Hunger Games: I wrote summaries of all the characters journeys and I wanted to go into detail - I have Jespers and I’m working on Kaz right now (he is very difficult to get talking). It’s taking the fact that the Crows and My Favourites From Shadow And Bone know each other and became friends and made me think - all these different Victors coming together to become family and also take down some fuckers (mostly Darkles)

Rewrite The Stars 2.0: I’m rewriting the first Tudors OT3 verse fic because it was only meant as a one shot and I have so so much more world building and ideas to write. I’m just stuck right now because (see above). It’s a fairy tale with a happy ending but it has a fight, it has pain and it has scars that will remain heavy but also, there will be love.

In another world this is how it might have gone between the three of them. The story of how the love between three extraordinary people change the world for the better and made it the kindest. The story of a fight for a fairytale

Crown Of Ashes:

Crown of Ashes is very inspired by the Taylor Swift Song Castle Crumbling. It’s a ‘what if Mary Tudor made similar choices to her father’ for better (and worse and maybe in between) reasons to her. What if everything the world tells you you should believe and want is wrong actually - what if you get everything you thought you wanted and it sucks.

This one. I know where I want to go, I’m just Not Getting There. I think I need to listen to the playlist again.

Tortall Found Family: Essentially this is about Numair/Arram coming to Tortall, heavy on the Jon-Thayet-Numair friendship but everyone is here, my absolute conviction that Ozorne never stopped loving Numair throughout all the books, that Roger had a really creepy possessive thing for Jon and also BONDING. Also contains Biracial Jon of Conte content (I think).

Elizabeth and Robert’s kids in the OT3 Verse because @boleynecklace got me thinking about them.

Anne (Nanette) - the oldest who marries William Cecils oldest son because I think it’s funny to have William Cecil and Robert Dudley be in laws though their relationship is pretty different here because Elizabeth isn’t the Queen etc. Inherits her title of Duchess of Pembroke as her mother inherited it from Anne’s namesake grandmother.

Anne is not only best friend with her cousin Turhan (King Thomas II) she’s also his spymaster (secret) and one of his chief advisors. She inherited all the political acumen and also the ruthless pragmatism.

Henry (Harry) - the second oldest. He will definitely let you know that he’s totally older than his twin by like, two minutes. Very crucial. He’s the courtier, the sportsman jouster and the fashion plate tbh. Also definitely a ladies man (his wife is actually okay with this - they married because they were friends and wanted children, not due to love).

Thomas (Thom) aka the gardener (I think it’s very cool actually). Henry’s twin and is the one holding the impulse control and the braincells of the twins. He’s actually the one who manages the estate even though Harry is the Duke of Leicester. The gardens he designed and planned are famous even today in universe.

Robert (Robbie) - he’s the sailor and the guy who essentially founds a non imperialist version of the English Navy. Sails as far as Indonesia at least, spends several years in his cousin Maryem’s court in Persia (she’s the Empress), falls in love with a Privateer/Pirate uh Admiral (I love her). You know, the usual.

Marian - the youngest by far (the late in life surprise baby). She’s a painter who married twice (her first husband was Terrible) and lives till 1680 and has an amazing life - especially in terms of this AUs version of the English Civil War and the Restoration.

John Dudley: Not putting Jane Grey on the throne (we will say that Robert convinces him that he has in fact travelled through time)

Robert Dudley: Betrothed to Elizabeth who goes to stay in the Dudley Household.

“I will not be a puppet to be moved about only through the will of others, a prisoner unable to see my children and forced to sign an unjust warrant and a lie.”

He means it - he will not put his name upon this travesty, this story that Mary has concocted so she might make herself feel righteous about what she has done. He will not condemn himself to live a life that is no life at all - never to see his children, to call them bastards and to have one of his loves condemned as a traitor.

If there was any hope, any way that he might look to his children, to watch over them then he might have signed, might have found a way to swallow his pride to save his love. But there is not.

And so Henry will die, will be the willing martyr so that perhaps, Mary may come to understand her own folly. It breaks him to think of it.
