"It's simply that you told me we were done talking and I'm trying to respect that," Knell said in a rush after they'd dealt with a pack of lymnocyon. Frey's feet stopped and she raised her left hand to look at the jewelry.

Again i really need to heavily warn that i am NOT all that super involved in music theory or production. I can pick up rhythm & certain notes by ear but thats about it lmao. ONTO THE OPINON.

She sounds. Fried. Like not in a “cool vocal fry” way either, more like a “I’m using too much of my head and nasal voice in a key that’s just a little too high for me” kind of way. Imo you can hear this most heavily whenever she pronounces ‘popular’ and in the first half of the song in general. She also sounds super out of breath for a lot of it. I genuinely think if they had slowed by a beat and brought it down by one key (maybe two) it could’ve been so much better. I don’t doubt that miss grande can sing well but she just did not sound as good as she could’ve in this instance!!

I think she wanted it to sound QuIrKy LoLz to play into the character of Glinda while also having it be an attempt to emulate one of the broadway singers (THERE IS A BROADWAY GLINDA THAT DOES SOUND MORE NASAL THAN MOST IVE HEARD BUT I GENUINELY CANNOT REMEMBER HER NAME AND IT’S PMO) so that may be why it sounds that way but to me it detracts deeply from the song and (TO ME) makes it rather hard to listen to.

Rules for requests:

Pick a special day. It doesn't have to necessarily be a holiday, or even a western significant event. I'm open to anything, Diwali, Sweet 16, any event/day that's considered significant.

Well, I’ve officially learned that my RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria) affects me, the host, no matter which alter feels like they are getting rejected. Even if they don’t care, it definitely still affects me. They are completely fine but they know I’m sad in the back, and then I front and I cry, cause I’m sensitive.
