had a really long bug-bite-ignoring streak this year but i just got a bite on my ankle right before a 6 hour hike & my shoe was rubbing against it the entire time and MAN it felt good to scratch it

When I was a kid I used to like the house-building part of The Sims, but I found the actual "life" part frustrating because it seemed to me that the in-game time ran too quickly relative to how long it took the Sims to do stuff. I would fill my Sim's house with all sorts of cool stuff but they'd never have time to use any of it because they were so busy going through the cook-eat-clean-bathe-sleep cycle and trying to keep all their little levels above 0.

Then I became an adult and realized that's just what life is actually like.

have been saying this to basically anyone and everyone but i’m sooooo happy with my new backpack….feels so good too bc i meticulously research various different options and lurked ebay to find one that’s reasonably priced & then i even got my lowball offer on it accepted. my old bag was amazing & i still use it but it is really a game changer to have a bigger bag for work that i can fit a sweatshirt & a spare pair of shoes in, plus my lunch & a book…yayyyyy #mybackpack

I ask because ive been eating low meat basically since I moved out of my parents’ house and i realized the other day that i used to make chicken and white fish because it was pretty cheap and easy but now I miss it the least and am craving flavors that are really specific and difficult to get in vegetarian food. anyway ive been thinking about how I could fuck up a pasta with clam sauce for weeks and I should probably make it soon. ooobg brine
