#bought some of those vampire fangs you glue onto your teeth today#and I just want everyone to take a second and appreciate the simple versatility to a pair of vampire fangs#vampirism is not only a costume of itself#but also an identity#so I could just be a vampire for Halloween#the black the cape the whole goth aesthetic#but in an age of modern vampire media#I could also fit vampirism into any other outfit or costume quite easily#with a handy pair of fangs#see like pirate is an occupation#not an identity#so vampire and pirate mesh incredibly well together#imo#to make *vampirate*#people have easily discovered this about zombies#which is why we have a plethora of zombie costumes mixed with other ‘occupational’ costumes#(zombie prisoner zombie clown zombie bride just to name a few)#but not enough people have understood this fact about vampires#okay#I’ve said my piece#but I am right#slav#slav every day#voltron#I think it has to do a lot with iconic vampire aesthetic that people just don’t want to compromise on#but we have to be braver than that as a society#be goth every other day of the year#nobody is stopping you#yknow?
