when immortan joe makes dementus choose a war boy to kamikaze into one of his bikes, he is able to simultaneously reveal that the war boys are a death cult and reaffirm the war boys’ loyalty to him. what a power move
i love hikari so much shes such an interesting and complex character (even if the show doesnt think so) and i just think max heart should have leaned into the fact that she's the manifestation of a light deity a bit more
I do actually love Helena in the jli as seen in jli special 2. Seeing her in a completely different genre is amazing, she’s out here trying to do her dramatic confrontation with the ghosts of her past while they’re running like fifteen different bits in the background. she’s grappling with her inheritance and legacy as someone who’s left it all behind and her son is bullying blue beetle.
reason #592 why Carver is my favorite companion in da2: All companions have 2-4 different lines of dialogue they can potentially say if Hawke falls in battle, but Carver has 5 and they're just-
Hey um remember that one "heres some concepts for a comic series i would like to make" well i thought to myself "why dont i remake it with some of my newer hcs and other bef members?" And uh.
It might got a bit out of hand...
Heres the cropped ver!
I had some ideas of what the story could be, i really want to go deeper with this concept and if i dont manage to make it a comic at LEAST i try to make it as a fanfic
honestly, I don't think Maxwell Lord being actually used as the villain he always was is a bad thing. Man was always awful and power-grubbing. I dont think he'd be able to stab the Justice League in the back and chest without a bunch of wibbling about the morality of betraying his friends, tho. Like, he'd still do it, but the handwringing about his awfulness is a notable part of the character.
Black King! Maxwell Lord just comes off as a bit too cool and collected and certain about what he's doing
i have a couple of weird/average funny toon shenanigan ideas for the forty stories like the shifter twins swapping bodies/cartoon violence inc. infiltrating a circus/either an apocalypse or evil clone concept going on with b&w toons but this newest idea is actually driving me crazy it’s so funny to me. basically the shifter twins get jumped and flashbanged by someone and for unknown malicious reasons think they’re random people and patton has to find both of them and figure out who the fuck did this. the contrast between all the way birthday and ‘blu thinks they’re a photographer with a new yorker accent named perry’ tickles my funny bone
