Luana smiled to herself as she looked at her phone screen. She was about to suggest a slightly different kind of date this time—something that would take Mark out of his comfort zone but still be fun and lighthearted.
Luana: “Tell me… do you trust me?” Mark: “Depends. 😳 What are you planning?” Luana: “A surprise. If I send you an address, will you come?” Mark: “Now I’m officially worried.” Luana: “And I’m officially offended. Are you in or not?” Mark: “Of course. 😉 But if it’s something dangerous, just know I can run fast.” Luana: “We’ll see if you can outrun me. 😏”
She sent the address and smiled, imagining his reaction when he found out the plan.
Mark arrived at the location and frowned as he saw the glowing sign. “A dance class?” he muttered to himself, looking around. He definitely hadn’t expected this.
Before he could wonder if he was in the right place, Luana appeared beside him, a mischievous smile on her lips. “Surprise!” she said, excited. “You’re joking, right?” Mark asked, glancing at the dance studio. “Not even a little,” Luana replied, crossing her arms. “You dance on stage all the time. I want to see how you handle a different rhythm.”
Mark laughed, shaking his head. “Is this a challenge?” She smiled. “Maybe.” He sighed, pretending to hesitate. “Okay, but only because it’s you.”
They entered the studio and were greeted by the instructor, who announced that the class would be zouk—a Brazilian dance style that’s smooth, flowing, and requires closeness and connection between partners.
Mark looked at Luana with a sly smile. “You planned this, didn’t you?” She shrugged, feigning innocence. “Maybe.”
The instructor began teaching the basic steps, and Mark picked up the rhythm quickly. Luana watched him with a satisfied smile. “You’re a fast learner,” she commented as he adjusted his hand placement. “Gotta keep up my reputation,” he replied with a playful look.
As the class progressed, the music filled the studio, and the two began moving in sync. The closeness between them felt natural, and Luana’s heart raced when Mark spun her effortlessly, pulling her back close.
For a moment, it felt like it was just the two of them.
When the class ended, Mark ran a hand through his hair and smiled. “That was way more fun than I expected.” “I always make good choices,” Luana replied, biting her lip slightly. Mark chuckled. “I’m starting to notice that.”
They left the studio and walked together under the streetlights. “I liked the challenge,” Mark said. “Then you know what to do if you want another date,” Luana teased. Mark tilted his head, a glint in his eyes. “Maybe I’ll call you even without a reason.” Her heart skipped, but she kept her composure. “Good answer.”
They stopped in front of the car Luana had called. “Thanks for trusting me,” she said, resting her hands on the door. Mark shoved his hands in his pockets and looked at her for a moment before replying: “That was never a problem.”
Luana got in the car but couldn’t stop smiling the whole way back to her hotel. The connection between them was growing stronger.
Later, Luana texted him: Luana: “Admit it… you had fun today. 😏” Mark: “You want to hear ‘you were right,’ don’t you?” Luana: “Always. Come on, don’t be shy.” Mark: “Okay, okay… I had fun. 🙄 But only because my dance partner was good.” Luana: “I’m great. No need to downplay it.” Mark: “You really have no shame, do you? 😂” Luana: “Zero. 🤷🏾♀️” Mark: “Good to know. 😉” Luana: “I liked watching you try to keep up with me today.” Mark: “Try? 😳 I thought I did well.” Luana: “You did… but I can still teach you a few tricks.” Mark: “Uh-huh. Just wait until next time.” Luana: “Oh, so there’s gonna be a next time?” Mark: “What if I said yes?” Luana: “Then I’ll go to sleep smiling. 😊” Mark: “Then sleep fast, because I had fun too.” Luana: “Goodnight, Mark.” Mark: “Goodnight, Luana. 😊”
Luana locked her phone and flopped onto the bed, laughing to herself.

What is your preferred name? How old are you? What drew you to writing your current character(s)? What is your favorite fictional character (in or out of the current fandom)? What are your favorite hobbies besides roleplaying/writing? What is your first language? What is your favorite food? Who is your celebrity crush?
@squaletta | numbered munday questions!
What is your preferred name?
Hi, I'm Red!
How old are you?
I'm currently 30. Got 1 month of it left tho
What drew you to writing your current character(s)?
Ryohei wasn't always my favorite character in KHR. It really went from Gokudera to Mukuro for the longest time, to Hibari, and coming back it's now Ryohei. I love extreme passionate dumbasses, it's the easiest for me to write too (lots of experience with the archtype). Plus, I mostly checked to see which muses are severely lacking right now lol. In the rest of the Decimo front, all is good. Only Ryohei is missing, so. I take it upon myself!
For Lussuria, I've been wanting to write them for a pretty long time, but not necessarily in the context of KHR. It was always a very lowkey wish of mine to try it out, mostly for shits and giggles; lo and behold, I suddenly write headcanons for them, developing them further. Currently I gotta say, I'm loving the experience.
What is your favorite fictional character (in or out of the current fandom)?
Well, in-fandom as stated above, currently I'm fixated on Ryohei. But in general, my favorite fictional character of all time is Rock Lee from Naruto (see a common thread yet?). My fixation in Anime characters in general, for 10 years and counting, is Elfman Strauss from Fairy Tail (to which I have a blog).
What are your favorite hobbies besides roleplaying/writing?
Hahahahahaha what are hobbies--
I love watching Anime in general. I suppose I like mixing music, and also I dance Brazilian Zouk. I've been meaning to develop my video editing skills but I'm a chicken lol
What is your first language?
Hebrew
What is your favorite food?
Spaghetti Bolognese. Hands down. Could eat that for days
Who is your celebrity crush?
Zooey Deschanel and Gina Carano. I'm not too well-versed with celebrities at all, but I used to be obsessed with Zooey. Gina Carano is a recent crush 👉👈
#squaletta#// thank you for sending this!!#// so yeah that's me#// is this the part where i start stripping?
