I don't usually post things like this and sorry if anyone finds it offensive. But I found this picture beautiful and oddly compelling. Its amazing to see it at work. You know before having kids I acutally thought there was only one hole that milk would come out of. Yeah and that's with a Master's degree...but it also shows that sometimes we don't know enough about our own anatomy. This is gorgeous!

Breastfeeding Problems

I managed to get more food on baby then in my mouth. LOL

That moment when you are half asleep and you can't get your nipple into your baby's mouth fast enough while you are side lying in your bed. You are both fussing and frustrated and you start to feel the tingle of letdown. Then bam! You squirt milk in your own face! Oh the problems of a breastfeeding, co--sleeping, side lying nursing mama with overactive letdown!

On plus side its good for your skin! LOL

Breastfeeding infront of your kids for the win!

You know your children are comfortable around breastfeeding when: A. Your child tells you to hurry and give the baby the boob because she is crying and that is what she needs. B. When same child corrects a stranger who says, "Does she need a bottle?" He says, "She NEVER eats bottles mama feeds her all she needs!" C. When your  almost three year old daughter (who was breastfed 27 mos herself) feeds her baby dolls "num nums" or brings them to your chest for you to do it. D. Lastly when your 5 year old tells his teacher and classmates that the baby cries because she wants to go to BOOBYTOWN. Which is a town with boobies where she can eat as long as she wants.
