Hello dear knitting friends! 💕 I haven't posted in quite a while now and to be honest I have a hard time getting back into it. Aside from the aweful things happening in the world right now, I struggle with a lot of things in my personal life, too. But this community has given me so much! You inspire me with your lovely knitting projects. You send me so much love and support. Tadaaa! May I introduce: the finished Oneiro Cardigan that I knit last summer. 🧶 #oneiroCardigan It is worked in two pieces. Each side is worked from the sleeve cuff to the center and then both sides are joined in the center back. A lovely double knit border gives the cardigan the finishing touch. Then it is done and you have a super warm, squishy and soft cardigan that will definitely stand out. 🤗 The pattern can be found in @pompommag Issue 40: Dreamscape that is currently available for pre-order. 😊 Before I knit the sample shown above I made another one in early 2021. I will share a couple of pictures of that one in the next weeks. It is #throwbackknitsday 😁 ...and therefore the perfect opportunity to show you another picture of my Oneiro Cardigan in the making from last summer. #oneiroCardigan The whole cardigan is worked sideways from the sleeve cuff to the neckline and this picture shows one sleeve with additional stitches for the front and the back. It is such a fun construction and the three strand mohair Brioche fabric is as squishy as can be. 😍 The pattern will be in @pompommag Issue 40: Dreamscape that is now available for pre-order. Here is another throwback to last summer when I knit the Oneiro Cardigan. 🧶 #oneiroCardigan It is worked sideways, so you cast on the cuffs first and then work your way up the sleeves.
